I didn't read all the responses you received. I didn't have to. Yes we BBW do have men in our life that enjoy the person we are or have become over the years. The parties may be called BBW parties but actually it is about size acceptance. I attend these parties as I'm a living large female. You guys would be surprised at how many NOT so large people come out to party with us. And we do not shun anyone that comes out to one of our parties. There are people that make sure you have been introduced to anyone you care to be introduced to. Get brave, next time you see a BBW Party advertised go party with them/us. We do have fun and laugh. You may be surprised at just how much fun you can have with us "fat" people.

WE discuss the health issues.. we are constantly striving to find ways to make our life better, not to die from the problems. We all know of the problems, this group doesn't ignore the problems. Please don't think all groups tend to ignore our health issues.

Being a BBW myself, I've been to a few parties. Yes, some people are cliquish.. some of us are just down right friendly and welcome everyone to the parties. The parties are NOT just about women that are large but a size acceptance thing. There are men and women there that are "normal" size. If you ever get the chance to come to Houston, let me know. I'll inform you when HoustonTxBBW has one of their parties. We have a blast.

Sorry to say it is only going to get worse. I believe that one day we will be reduced to sperm donors. I have to say that has already been done. What with dead beat dads or abusive fathers and YES I know there are women just like that.

I always see men as humans. Some are just better at being Human than others. Men should never be afraid to express their feeling, more power to those that do. I applaud you for the effort you put forth. Very few know how to do just that.

Women cheat, no doubt about it. Just seems we, females, have the ability to vent where you men don't think about it, having all the stress build up inside. If she is cheating on you. leave. You are worth more than that. don't look back.

I left to save my life, evidence of that truth, my ex hubby shot our oldest son(by the Grace of God does my son still walk this earth). Do yourself that favor: LEAVE.

Her size has nothing to do with what your "man" did to you. It was him not liking himself and what he had with you. I applaud the fact that you got out of the relationship. Takes some of us a long time to learn that we are far better than what he offered to you. Now that you know what happened in this relationship, hopefully, you learned what to avoid in the next. I wish you luck in finding someone worthy enough to have you in his life.

Has anyone been called slutty for the photos they have posted? I received an email from a man locally that said my photos were slutty. It just went downhill from there. I don't see the sluttiness in them. I do see some sensualness. Not enough skin showing, just the hint of things to come. Is that being slutty? Yes I saved the emails from him to enjoy the laugh

Approaching an anniversary or remembering day that someone close to you passed away.... Posted: 9/9/2006 12:53:03 AM
On December 25, 2003, I lost my youngest son. Christmas will never be the same for me but I do have to say I was blessed for 22yrs, 1month and 3 days. He slipped into a coma on Christmas Eve. I will never know if he knew I was there the whole time but in my heart I believe he knew. The best way I have found to cope with his death is to remember who I get my strength from. I don't have to stress over him being in any kind of pain, I don't have to worry about him going thru anything else to cause his life to become a place of pain. Like one of the persons said here.. you would think holidays were the worst.. yet at any given moment out of the blue it hits you that hey.. you don't have your loved one in your life anymore, yet we go on. Just keep the memories of your loved one in your heart and that one will always be with you.

pannash, Thank God that he designed us to be just exactly who we are. Some of us are large and just NOT lazy at all. Sure I could stand to loose a few pounds, but I work every day. on my feet, walking, stretching. I try not to eat after a certain time of day(before I go to sleep). I am ME, period, noone else. God made me the person I am. I like myself, I'm not bitter. and like I said to joejoe, I laugh at people like you that think We Fat people aren't worth the effort.

side note: Sometimes I wonder why we as citizens bother to vote. The electoral college puts the man in power that we call president. When we do vote, those on the east coast have voted.. those on the west coast haven't.. and the electoral college already has named the president... goodness... but yeah. we need to vote for the better of the evils.

With as many bisexual people in this world around, one needs to be worried about the spread of HIV/AIDS, That disease is not restricted to needle drug users or gay males only. If you have ever watched someone die from HIV/AIDS, it may change your mind about having casual sex with just anyone, man or woman. I certainly hope everyone uses protection or abstinance. Having watched my son at the tender age of 22 die from HIV/AIDS because he was bisexual is not an easy thing. Please for your sake and your families be very selective and use plenty of protection.

Here is a poem that was sent to me, I hope it helps you.... This poem was written by a 13 year old boy who died from a brain tumor that he had battled for 4 years. He died on December 14,1997.He gave this to his mom before he died. His name was Ben. First Christmas In Heaven I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below With tiny lights,like heaven's stars, reflecting on the snow. The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away the tear For I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year. I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear But the sounds of music can't compare with the Christmas choir up here. I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring, For it is beyond description, to hear the angels sing. I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart. the Crowne Plaza is a fairly nice hotel. They do try to keep the pool and hottub clean. The people there are very friendly. I have stayed at the Crowne Plaza several times for functions with another group.
