Stood up. Again.
Posted: 10/15/2008 8:39:01 PM | I just had my first being stood up experience tonight. Maybe I am in denial but I am still hoping that we miscommunicated about which coffee shop or which night.
This was to be my first date after my divorce a year and half ago. I brought origami paper and made her a few flowers. I gave one flower to a woman who let me use her laptop to check my email to see if my date had emailed me an explanation or was wondering where I was. I would have chatted more with her but she had homework. Ann Arbor, MI is a college town. I gave another flower to a nice looking gal who may have been there with her dad, and I left the final one on the counter of the coffee shop.
I also brought a book and got some reading done after I was done with the origami.
So I will check in again when a date goes well.
