Posted: 8/15/2005 8:12:52 AM I'm not as cynical as some of you posters and I am not that overly optimistic either, about people and their intents. Yet, I must chuckle at certain individuals who have made comments here that they saw a HANDSOME GUY and felt it was LOVE! lol Based on that type thinking I must be in love when I see Jessica Alba or other pretty actresses on tv! NO WAY! Learn the difference between instant attraction, chemistry and LOVE! I know it is a tough concept and can be confusing, but it's attraction at first sight and the love may develop later. Real love involves character feelings and deeper emotions you can't possibly have at first sighting. Oh well...I am going auto shopping. I was raised neutral on the subject of interacial anything, except that interacial marriage would create myriads more problems for the couple down the road. That may be true in some cases, but LOVE is LOVE and it will seek it's own path despite what you want or think. I have dated asian women and really adore them for their special qualities and I have dated african-american women too and they also have their own unique and wonderful qualities. If you step past societal inhibitions and concentrate on THE PERSON, i.e. PERSONALITY, then race fades from your mind. Actually, I have found that age is much more of a discriminatory factor than race, but few people acknowledge it in the same way. Age may be a different type issue, but it's relevant to dating in a similar way. Don't judge a book by it's cover.
