If you can meet someone thru a mutual friend,fabulous.Most people on the few sites I have visited are searching for that "someone" it is human nature to want to share life and happiness with a partner.POF has let me have the chance to reach out and make some chat buddies.But really really meet someone,not so much..

Thank you Boo & Joe for getting the party started.Greenville area sounds good and I prefer a Sat. night.The smoke free bar sounds great and a little etoh usually gives everyone some courage to break the ice.As far as food really some good appe's is great.But the music is important, everyone can rock out to some good tunes.I agree it is a busy time of year and Jan or Feb is much better for social events.Good luck guys and save a dance for me

I agree with suziecutie.I really enjoy the young men.I tend to have alot more in common and usually are not as judgemental.But right now any random guy would be nice...

love ur reply.i feel the same way.no pix no expectation.would rather have personality and consideration.i would be glad to send a pix once we have chatted a bit.
but that is one of my major roadblocks trying to make a go of this online searching.any suggestions ??? from anyone

You know you are right herder...I have been looking and reading some of these testimonials trying to get some ideas of how this works.I am new to online dating so very overwhelmed.But I have had a few responses from some rather interesting people.What can I do to make contact with the guys that are in my general area.There has to be somebody out there ,So I am falling and looking for a place !!!Any ideas??

wow, I love reading the replies. You all are much wiser and informed then myself.My question is forget about being selective at my age.I just want a guy to have a conversation, movie,go for a drive.Do you think any guy realizes how simple it is to have a female in their life !!!
