Remember when dating was simple!

I’ve found that 90% of the profiles I respond to do not post what it is that their actually looking for..
That being said I still have faith, I know that somewhere out there in that 10% I will find that special someone!
I think people often post generic stuff on their profile... 'enjoy going to pubs but just as happy to stay in with the right person and a bottle of wine'!

Would you open you marriage to save it?
Posted:

I know a older couple (in their 50's) with an interesting dynamic in their marriage. They allow each other to "cheat" twice a month under strict conditions. Apparently the man is very kinky and is allowed to visit a Dominatrix twice a month. The women still has feelings for an old boyfriend and she is allowed to see (and sleep with) him twice a month.
They have done this for 4 years now and they said it saved their tired old marriage and made them both very happy. They still Love each other immensely but they just needed a little something extra in their marriage. They do not even keep it a secret. They say that some of their friends react with horror even when told it was either open the marriage or divorce. They did lose a few friends over this.
I say good for them.
Would you open your marriage (with strict rules and conditions) in order to save it? Imagine you really love your marriage partner but for whatever reason the marriage was not working.
Simple answer... No

Hi
Fairly new here and wanted to introduce myself on the forums.
I'm 34 years old from Hertfordshire in England. Single (that's why I'm here
), 5'10, slim, no children and never married. Have a look at my profile if you'd like to find out more or ask me anything ya like - I am not shy

I need a male opinion on chivalry...

Hello Bikerscum and thanks for your input
It's a shame that debates like this need to be qualified with the 'I am not a racist' statement, but such is the situation
.
I can't really comment on the situation in Canada or the USA as I don't know enough about it. All I can say is that in my eyes the mix of over zealous equality policy and political correctness has led to the majority feeling so unempowered in Britain. I believe in equal rights but the situation we have got ourselves into is far from equality. I also think people misconceive equal rights as trying to make everyone the same. The human race is a melting pot of differences... yes give every law abiding person the same rights, but celebrate the differences in people, don't try to iron them out. For example, of course men and women should have equal rights, but we shouldn't try and make the sexes the same. I want men to be men and women to be women. If we were the same then we'd all have penises or vaginas and it would be the norm for men to go shopping for a little black number and lace panties (for themselves I mean
).

Advice from Cosmo - is it good advice?
Posted:

Never follow any advice from Cosmo or any woman's mag! The thing is it's advice written by women. Err... how about asking men for advice about men? Women will just tell women what they want to hear, you rarely get to hear what men REALLY want.

I'm from England and can totally relate to the sense of being disenfranchised (did I spell that correctly lol). The white, heterosexual, able bodied, 30 to 50 something male is a member of no minority group here and therefore possibly the most discriminated against of all due to 'positive discrimination'. E.g. all female or all ethnic shortlists for jobs. For a while I thought I was the only one thinking this, but 2 things to me say I am not the only 1. Firstly, the mass emigration away from my country by the afore-mentioned social group. Secondly, chatting with my social circle (who also fit into this group), they feel exactly the same way.
However, I do believe in chivalry and being a gentleman. It seems everyones roles have changed except ours
. I won't change who I am though

why are guys attracted to crazy girls
Posted:

It only sustains safety in the psycholigical sense. Just the same as if you never get together with the opposite sex then you'll never get hurt.
As the old football saying goes (soccer to our chums across the pond
):
If you don't shoot, you'll never score.
If you shoot, sometimes you'll miss, but sometimes you'll score.

Trust me, guys are much easier to understand than women. We mostly use black and white instead of varying shades of grey
.
You just found a bad one that's all. I've been finding them all my life

what does chemistry mean?
Posted:
10/28/2007 11:50:51 AM
If you've ever had chemistry between yourself and another then you'll know what it means. If you're not sure if you've had it then you haven't. It's that certain something that makes 2 people work so well together, when you just click, but so much more. It's like if the 2 of you were in a room of a thousand people it would seem like you were alone together.

Whats wrong with me?
Posted:

Firstly, there's nothing wrong with you
.
Here's my two penn'orth for what it's worth. Some guys will be scared off of girls who have lots of male friends, nothing you can do about that. More importantly you're in the 'friend zone'. Your gonna have to get out of your comfort zone to change things. If a single guy says you're awesome then try flirting with him. You may be acting like a friend so much that no-one would expect you to be a girlfriend too.

[quote) i was wondering why guys are always looking over well i dont want to say good girls so i will go with not crazy people like me to date a psycho and then complain about it. i am tired of being over looked for those girls what can i do to get more people to notice me
The same reason most women go for **stards. A lot of people keep on repeating the mistakes that lead to unhappiness.

Why don't any decent looking, decent guys contact me?
Posted:

There's 2 main reasons I can think of. It may sound blunt but sometimes women will just be told what they want to hear, rather than the truth. Just trying to offer advice
1. Guys get so sick of always being the first to initiate and getting constantly rejected, sometimes very rudely. I can honestly say that if I was to send out 100 messages, I would get around 5 replies.
2. Your profile needs updating. Maybe some 'glammed up' piccies. Also, some of the wording sounds a little abrupt and comes across as 'dont even bother contacting unless you are good enough for me'.
All the best with your search.
