I have heard horror stories about what angry staff do to food but fortunately have no 1st hand knowledge of this. I do work very hard to make a customers dining experience a good one. If they fail to tip on the 1st visit, I ask myself what I could have done better. If they return a 2nd time, I give the same good service. If they fail to tip fairly, I am done. Upon their 3rd visit, they will be seated and get the beverage and meal they ordered and the tab. I will not check on them for refills, condiments etc. They can keep their cash and I will keep my self respect.

I am sauteeing whole mushrooms in a butter and chablis sauce. I will add some chopped white onion, garlic. salt and pepper. When tender I will drain, leaving some of the sauce and top with grated mozzarella cheese. I cannot wait for turkey day!

Agreed. They should have the sense to find a better job working for a better employer. A business that mistreats its employees will not survive if no one is willing to work for it. wow!, many of the wait staff are college girls/guys . They are trying to work and pay for an education.

I have worked as a server for 2 years now and it isnt easy work. In texas, base pay is $2.13/hr. Tips are suppose to suppliment the rest of our wage. It boggles the mind how many people do not tip but will run a server ragged getting this and that for them. Another way a server loses cash is when a party ties up a table for hours. The server cannot reseat the table. Grats on larger parties just insures that a server will not lose money. If service is bad, the time to complain is then, not after the fact.

There have been a few 1st meets that I wished I had stayed home and sorted my sock drawer. #1 Mr. INYOURFACE- He invades your personal space. After a 1st meet, one can give a detailed description of his nares. #2 Mr. ISLEPTINMYCLOTHES- Nuff said #3 Mr. NOSHOW- After being stood up, I receive a message saying he had to have a tooth pulled at the mens homeless shelter and would I like to try and meet again.

I believe that mankind has no desire for God and will not choose Him. I also believe that the healings Jesus performed during his 3 and 1/2 year earthy ministry were not only physical . I believe them to be a restoration of "spiritual senses". Ears are open and blind eyes see. It is interesting to remember that Christ did not heal all. His sheep know his voice. Adults know how a female gets pregnant. Whats so difficult about being responsible? Both partners should take precautions. If they did, this thread would not exist. Guys need to take care where they spread their seed. The bottom line is, they will pay child support if it is indeed their baby.

OP,I spoke with a customer at work last week. She told me about finding "the man of her dreams". He also lived in another country. I asked her a few red flag questions and sure enough... he was a scammer. Be careful OP. The scams are getting more and more clever.

I do not think many in the west are familair with Qutbs' writings. He was a mentor to Ayman Al-Zawahiri . I agree with Dino, that this fraction of extremists are not tolerant of any outside of their own manifesto. To trivialize them, would be folly.

There is a BBC documentary called "The Politics of Fear" "Baby its Old Outside". I recommend a viewing of this 4 hour production. It demonstrates how fear ( even an imaginary fear) can manipulate the masses politically and socially.

I have to wonder what other vaccines people frightened of the swine flu vaccine are leary of. Every vaccine has a risk. The polio and smallpox vaccine without a doubt caused bad outcomes in rare instances. I wonder how many iron lungs would be fired up right now, if people were so paranoid about the polio vaccine.

I am not a psychologist or nor do I think I possess any real insight into Maj. Hasans' behavior. I do know many young men get caught up in "causes". Some of the reasons may be a perception of hopelessness, disenfranchisement etc. I think we see this phenomena manifest in gangs, hate groups etc. If one is alienated and hurting, they will gravitate to a group that will sympathisize and make them think they are a part of a greater calling.

I guess I need the question "why" answered. My cousins' son was badly wounded at the melee at Fort Hood. How could an obviously educated person murder so many people he did not know. What benefit did he gain my shooting my relative? If this crime was carried out to protest a war none of us are fond of, why shoot innocent young soldiers?

I made no inference to his race. This man had the american dream of education and potential for wealth. I dont know how killing 13 fellow soldiers would benefit Hasan. It makes no sense to me. It will not stop the war.

Prayer is not always answer. The psalmist David wrote in Psalms 37, " Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. " This tells me that I am to pray Gods will and not that of my own. David wanted his own desires to be the same as the desires of God. If I pray a fleshly prayer for cash or a new car, I dont think God hears these. Jesus on many occasions asked for Gods will and not his own. It is prayers such as these that are heard.

In my experience, it's rather rare to find a fit older woman. Not trying to be mean, but a lot of mature women want to rationalize the "few extra pounds" rather than do something to reduce their weight. Ever notice how many suddenly single women go on a diet? It doesnt seem to matter levi, I am thin and I am not getting many dates. I recall being 20 something and getting hit on by men 40+. I suppose older men still try to hook up with younger women.

I spent most of my life in critical life support. The last thing a person loses is the ability to hear. I would tell the families of my patients to talk to their loved one. One day , a family returned with a tape recording of all the grand children telling their grandpa they loved him. I cant tell you how touched I was. It must have also given the family some comfort knowing grandpa probably could hear them.
