Yep I feel it too sometimes.
Gets to a person sometimes too.
Now cutting the grass is my son's job.
Oil Change is now the garages job.
Word of mouth for the mechanic is the the best.
The worst is the lifting of heavy objects or fixing things you have no clue how to.
All I can say is thank god for my brother.
Poor guys is looking after his family, my family and our other family members.

Spurned Lovers Take Revenge on Cheating Husband

I laughed pretty hard at this too.
But you are right if this happened to a women we wouldn't
be laughing at all.
I think alot of women wished they had did this to their cheating hubbies
but would never fall through with it.
That is the decency in us.

Yeah that is true. Never thought of it like that because I had all my kids by the time I was 30. Your right I would have never waited that long either.
Had the first kid on my 26th birthday so I was still quite young.
Second one 2 years later and then the 3rd 2 years after that.
Good topic and I hope we helped any people that were wondering.

Some women after having kids have saggy boobs.
Its common or at least I think its common anyway.
That is why I suggest to wait until you are done baby making.
I know there was nothing sexy about mine anyway
when you bend over and they are like an onion in a nylon hanging off your
chest, nothing sexy about that.
Lets just say I love the more youthful me and am glad that I waited until
my baby making was done.
I really can't figure out why I can't seem to get my point across to someone on here.
Really I am not a mean person to judge anyone.
I hope this worked this time.

I just read that persons comment and all I can say is wow!!!
Where did she ever get that idea.
Just to clarify myself.
I meant this procedure should or could wait until after your done with kids because your boobs stretch out again and then there just as big.
I just know mine haven't changed all that much a bit but not too major and the other person that had another kid are back to being pretty large and she is talking about getting another surgery.
That is the only example I have.
I just know I am glad I waited until I was done with having kids.
As I don't think I would want to get this done twice.
Some people have such issues

I had it done and would do it again anyday.
It is a bit painful for a few days and remember no heavy lifting.
Once you get the bandages off you will feel like a new women but.... you will now
have a stomach. lol
The tent always hid it but all the sudden there it is.
But I will say.... you do lose your sensitivity for sure and they are quite tender still and I got this done 11 years ago. Not painful but no being rough thats for sure.
I think its because I gained a bit of weight since I got it done so maybe that is why they are a still a bit painful.
Just make sure you know what size you want to be.
I didn't have a clue so I kind of guessed.
I am now a C and I love it.
I would not recommend getting this done until you are 100% done with having children.I know someone that did get it done and then had another child and is right back to square one.
I hope I was a bit helpful.

If it was me I would take on another job, save up and pay someone to do it. lol
I helped with a couple of reno's and that is enough for me. No Thanks.
I would rather pay. I don't find this stuff exciting or fun at all.
Nothing like blowing your nose full of drywall dust. Yuck.
But have fun with your reno.
Hope you are able to get it all done.
What a great challenge.

"I'm quite content being single, and would view a mate in my life to be icing on the cake, not the cake itself"
I love this quote.
That is exactly how I feel.
Just like the other posters I have changed my ways of thinking in my
20's My mind was possessed at this age thinking I really needed to be married and have babies.
30's Decided the man I married really wasn't the man that I thought he was in my 20's and decided that maybe my kids were more important to me then to settle for a life of misery with him.
40's Not settling at all. Looking for the icing on the cake not the cake itself as the above poster said. Not desperate at all so not settling.
I do want someone to grow old with but I can wait.

I don't care how weak daddy-kins is nobody will ever treat my child in that manner.
You either treat my child correctly or my child will not be around your skanky mouth.

Fear n phobias
Posted:
11/26/2008 6:12:52 PM
I did a search and guess what I found this topic from 2005 sorry people but I don't want to break rules.
I am deathly afraid of big dogs and it does affect my life greatly.
My best friend's roommate just got a Husky (not ok'd by my friend) and now
we can't even visit each other which is really sad. The dog is 8 years old but
I can't get past the what ifs, like what if he attacks me, what if I am the one that
he bites for the first time, what if he mauls my face and rips it off the bone.
The awful things that go through a person's mind when they have these fears is
terrible. The worst is thinking that this dog is going to maul my kids, her kids or the cat she has.
I wish I didn't have this fear as it really puts a damper on my life.
I am totally refusing to go there as long as that dog is there.
The worst part is she is my best friend but she is also my cousin and it really stale that I can't even go and visit family because of this. She can visit me though so that is good.
I know this is my fear and I shouldn't get angry at anyone but you know what I am angry at this situation but nothing can be done about it.
I am so glad that I haven't had to get a roommate yet to make ends meet as you have to put up with so much.
Phobia's are the worst.

owned you as if the company wanted to hire you then there was big money to pay.
I didn't like that.

There is some younger people in there but its usually at least 35 and up.
Never any trouble in there and you feel safe at all times.

Together for 20 years, but the magic is gone....
Posted:

9 months??? 6 years????
How does that happen?
I could not imagine being with someone for that length of time and not be having intimate time with them.
That is not a relationship at all, its convenience.
I would rather be single and alone then married and alone.
My goodness I cannot even understand some relationships at all.
On another site someone said 8 years. WTF.
I totally don't get it and my answer is "GET DIVORCED"
Why be with someone that could care less about you!!!!
We all have needs and obviously she really doesn't care.
Don't cheat, just get out.
But my advise does change if its a medical issue, then that is different.
But if its out of pure selfishness, then my advise applies.

I am actually getting excited for this.
Can't wait, gonna get my groove on.
And hopefully the boys are not too shy. lol
I think a free shooter to the guys when they walk in to give them some
liquid courage. ha ha ha
I think two big circles on the dance floor men in one circle, ladies in the other circle facing each other and the outer one stays still and the inner one moves and everyone says hello and shakes hand and introduces each other would be fun.
Not sure if it would work but I think it would be a ice breaker, what do you think Sweetboy.
I can see it in my mind but can't seem to explain it right.

Shucks this is in Calgary.
I would be interested if someone put one on here and no not me.
Me and my friends always go to the same place when we go out dancing due
to feeling quite uncomfortable in places that the average age is 20
So if a group went to different places we could check them out and see what the
average age of the people there and maybe go back again at a another time.
This would be the best.

School fees
Posted:
9/3/2008 5:03:30 PM
I am looking at close to $800.00 if not more and that is for 3 kids, 2 in Junior High
and one in Elementary. None taking the bus.
It wouldn't be so much but because I am a single mom I need them to stay at school for lunch as I work so that is approximately $70.00 each and I have one in the Hockey program and that costs 200.00 but the rest is for other things like the agenda learning resource fee (wtf) not sure what that is and field trip cost. also the materials for taking shop classes and so forth.
I also have to buy their school supplies on top of this.
I didn't send the 24 blue pens that were required by my son as if he runs out I
will then buy more for him. All the other things were extreme like this as well on the list so I just bought a few of each and will buy more if needed, I too am sick of them bringing all this stuff back at the end of the year unused as well.
I also didn't think I paid all of these things in Manitoba as well, but who knows maybe they do this now as well.

Should people judge others on spelling and typing skills?
Posted:
8/14/2008 5:47:57 PM
Sometimes English is not their first language so of course their spelling is terrible.
I think who cares as they are one up on me, they speak more then one language, I don't! Who am I to judge.
Before anyone is judging anyone else they should make sure they are looking at the whole picture, not part of it.
If you speak more then one language then go ahead and judge.
I have on occasionally fixed their profiles up a bit just by copy and pasting onto a word document, spacing it and fixing up the typos and spelling errors to the best of my ability and then write them a letter and paste it on the letter to them and tell them that if they like the fixed version then feel free to copy and paste it back onto their own profile. I have noticed that most have thanked me and did paste the fixed one onto their profile. I didn't change any words just helped them a bit.
Was that wrong????

Well I am very glad my step dad raised me and not my bio.
Sometimes its better sometimes its not.
Your right depends on the father.
Sometimes raising them by yourself is better too.
Depends on the situation, the ages of children, the gender and so forth.

"I was watching men's gymnastics yesterday, wow....holy crap, I don't know how their bodies bend and move in those ways. Used to watch figure skating in the winter olympics...but for summer I do like the diving and swimming sports"
Me too, I really enjoyed watching this. What dedication!!!!
I actually really enjoyed watching the Chinese, what a great team, lots of practice for them.
I am wondering though, why are the Canadians not doing the greatest?
Is it because they are not as focused as the Chinese or is it really all about dollars and cents. I can't really understand what money has to do with it but maybe I am wrong.
If your an athlete your an athlete, training is training, maybe its the facilities but who knows, isn't a floor mat, a floor mat, a bar, a bar, a vault, a vault.
I noticed someone had made a comment about Canadian sports so now I curious to know what that has to do with anything?

This could be okay but what are their other vises because there always seems to be one or two.
Some quit then become addicted to something else such as:
- slots
-bingo
-religion
-the person they are in love with (have to know everything about them)
-their job
and so on.
I find there is always another addiction around the corner, I lived with someone like that, it was always about their disorders and helping them cope. Never about anyone or anything else always about them.
And Dry Drunks suck!!! Talk about someone being mean.
Would I do it again, nope, I would run away screaming!!!!

Horror on Canadian bus as man beheaded....
Posted:
7/31/2008 11:08:21 PM
This is just so awful, I can't even comprehend it.
I never in my wildest dreams would ever think I would hear such a terrible crime happening here in Canada.
You hear of all sorts of things happening everywhere and lately in Canada as well but this kind of slaughter of another human being is just unimaginable.
I feel for the victims family there are just no words that can be said for comfort. I am at a loss.
I feel for the passengers and driver of the bus, this will haunt them for the rest of their lives. Esp. the mom that basically threw her little one over the seats trying to get him out of the bus, I just couldn't imagine the fear she had for her little one.
The fear they must have experienced outside of the bus, hoping the psycho wouldn't get out.
Those guys that kept him in the bus are the heros on this terrible story, I hope they get recognized for their bravery.
To the ones that are saying that people are cowards for not stepping in and helping the poor victim, shame on you. As if you would approach someone that has a rambo knife and is stabbing someone to death, you would be as crazy as the psycho doing it if you did. Sometimes common sense goes a long way.
We all play the shoulda, woulda, coulda but this was a extreme situation.

Faith in people.
Posted:
7/30/2008 10:05:32 PM
Just tell a mutual friend that will let him know or even if you can tell him that you have installed a security system that has cameras all over your yard and house and are taping everything all the time as it just makes you feel that much safer. You can buy fake signs I believe at dollar stores or something.
It might be a little bit of a stretch but who cares he doesn't have to know the truth.
Guess who won't be coming near your place again esp. if you have a restraining order against him.
Also make sure you tell people your situation and have code words on cell phones as well such as "What a crazy meal I am having" Or "Have you talked to your mom lately?" Those little words will be code words for I am in trouble.
Not to sure how extreme your situation is or if it is just more of annoyance but I hope my little input will help.
And to add my lack in faith in people is the last two fella's I talked to on here.
Once basically lied to me and was having a relationship with another lady already, playing both of us I guess. Thanks to facebook I figured it out. ha ha
It was nothing serious but glad this was found out first before I let my heart get involved.
The other one just totally disappeared, closed account and all. We were having such a great chat too. Oh well, I guess the wife found out. lol j/k he said he was single.
So not sure if its faith in people in general or faith in pof fella's

why do big girls think they are average
Posted:

I'm a bigger girl and would never say anything different, why would I, people aren't blind that I date.
I do hate the expression of someone saying fat though, its like a swear word to me.
Not sure why I hate that term so much, it is true but when I hear that term being referred to me it puts me in the mean mode.
Maybe its because I was referred as the fat cu*t by my ex!!! That is probably why.
I think when one of the posters quoted another poster on here and then said "says a fat guy" it just turned me off this topic.
Just had to say my spiel, back to the fight!!!

Well I am almost 40 so I think I count.
The 20 something boy that tried to pick me up last weekend made me feel very sexy.
And no I did not go for it, not my style at all, but it did give me a giggle.

Do you ever get bored with dating, sex, and everything else?

I am feeling like this too lately, can't really be bothered with it all anymore. Too many let downs thats for sure.
When I was younger I had to be on the go at all times, here and there and everywhere but now I am more comfortable in my skin and feel quite content staying home and doing nothing.
I guess I have different priorities now and things that seemed like the end of the world before are way different now.
I am just too tired to care anymore.

Be very careful with these as the oils or whatever they are treated with seeps out.
My mom used them to line her flower bed and garden and they looked really nice, she had them painted or stained or something but that stuff use to seep out and get all over everything.
If you don't plan on leaning or sitting on them then I am sure it would be okay though.
We had a bunch at work just awhile ago for discarding but I am not sure who came and got them.
Maybe do a google search something might come up.

How do you dress for your first meet up?

I like to dress Business Casual.
That is a major turnoff when the person does not present themselves nicely for the first meet.
Dress to impress!!!

Nearly grown kids......

Sometimes people use their kids as excuses too. Not everyone but some do.
A kid that is 18 is considered an adult in Alberta and will then be treated as an adult.
That would be the day that I would be hiding from my boyfriends kids, as if.
I respect the fact of not sleeping in the house when they are around and so forth but to actually be pretending is silly.
I think you were not treated very nicely.
