I give up. I guess if someone can message me back, I'll write the first message. That's the way it works out anyway. With no cookies and a fresh, never used browser, the problem is still there. All I can figure is my screen settings somehow crowd the box off the screen, but I reset my settings in control panel to every possible setting and the problem persists. I guess all that matters is that someone I contact will be able to message me back, since no one is going to message me first anyway.  jackintx Joined: 10/20/2007 Msg: 19 (view)   Question about updating profile Posted: 8/20/2009 2:23:20 PM Changing screen settings didn't help. I went all the way from the bottom to the top in the screen resolutions in Windows and it is still the same. Where I live is 150 miles from the next town of any size, so that makes this pretty much useless if my limit is locked in at 75. Now if I respond to someone's profile in that other town, will that person get my message? It says "within:" but there's no box to show the choices. The very next thing after "within" is "Allow a user to see". I am using a computer, not a smart phone or anything. Maybe if I fiddle around with the screen settings? "the ability to change distance is there on my profile, it says within not limit." ?? I'm sorry, but I don't see anything that says "within not limit" on my profile. I see where it says "Live within 75 miles. I hit "edit" and it takes me to the mail settings which has no selection for changing or deleting the limit. The word "limit:" does appear on that page but there is no selection choice. I have tried both Firefox and IE with the same problem. If I contact someone who is further away than 75 miles, will they get my message? Two questions -- I have tried to eliminate that limit but when I click on "edit" it takes me to the mail settings page and there is no place to change or delete the limit.
