Help!
Posted: 4/25/2009 4:18:35 PM
I never know what to write in my profile. I'm a nice guy who doesn't really have anything that will jump out and grab a person that can be summed up in only a few words... in other words, I'm normal.

Can people take a look? I know I am goofy looking, but at the age of 39 I am probably not gonna suddenly blossom into Brad Pitt either...

so, why are you still single?

Now i feel like chopped liver - nobody askes me why I am still single...

My problem has always been that I just don't know how to do the transition from friend to more. I get to know women and I enjoy their friendship so much that I end up missing that point where it either has to stay friends or become that little bit more... and I have somewhat low self esteem so I always assume that I like them more than they like me so I can't bring myself to try that little step.

Do you believe you can meet someone online?
Posted: 12/2/2008 11:11:25 AM
Sigh.... I don't know. I figure online is my best chance, since I don't really work well in bars, and the places I actually go (Mainly bookstores) aren't actually conducive to meeting people. Of course, I never have had much talent for meeting people anyway...

I actually am the same way (Just with women talking to me)... I went to a bookstore this last weekend, and bought a book. The cashier started chatting with me and we had a lovely chat. It was only after I left that I realized that her question "So, what are you plans for tonight?" should not have been answered by me saying that I intended to stay home, read and watch a DVD...

teacher also a prostitute- what are your opinions?

I can see both sides of the issue - on the one hand, it isn't exactly the sort of person most people want their kids hanging around with... But on the other, as long as she doesn't mix the two jobs, there isn't a real problem there...

Never saw one... I guess on the right type of person it would look okay.... But it sounds kind of painful.
