Is exotic dancing prostitution?
Posted:
5/7/2008 8:10:02 AM
I don't think that exotic dancing is prostitution. Yes some ppl do offer more than a dance for extra money but we can't tar everyone with the same brush. I think you're a lil extreme in your views on this subject but I also believe that nobody should feel obligated to go outside of their comfort zone. Sex however will always be a seller and I think therefore the UK (and everywhere else) should legalise brothels and keep prostitutes safe and away from pimps who get easily influenced ppl on drugs and who exploit them.
From what your thread states I would class you as a bit of prude and tbh what gives you the right to judge these ppl. Most are probably students or single parents just trying to get by. Then again some dancers probably earn a lot more money doing so than a 9-5 and get a taste for that extra cash. You say it is morally questionable... but these are not based on general consensus this statement is based on your own morals. The question then is: Do you expect everyone to live their lives by YOUR morals and what makes Your morals morally correct?
I speak as a woman who loves hardcore porn... I have no disrespect for the stars of porn but am not a fan of back street shoddy companies promising the naieve, them glamour, riches and fame for starring in some B porn and them making nothing from it and ending up in the gutter. Look at Jenna Jameson... she is an international porn star who owns a multimillion dollar business. I wouldn't say that I personally would aspire to be like her and live her life but my god I wouldn't mind her money and she gets paid for doing something she obviously loves haha
If anyone wants to hire the Chippendales or wants help looking into this subject through 'site visits' ... purely for research purposes ofcourse :) please let me know and I will volunteer to go with haha xjx

Bin Men To Come Every 2 Weeks !!
Posted:

I think it is a blaitant P*ss take!! After a wk our communal bin room is already full to the brim... and it reeks. I think a fortnightly collection will encourage vermin and disease. We pay tax on this tax on that... council tax and now chats about us being charged for rubbish collection as well as only collecting one a fortnight. Typical fat cats getting fatter it just makes me question do these ppl live in the real world or indeed give a sh*t about what others have to go through when they're living in a nice house with maids and ppl to take their rubbish out and stuff....
Random thought.... I wonder if we'll ever see 2 wks rubbish outside of 10 Downing Street haha xjx

Woohoo this is going to be a good night. Sorry I haven't been in soo much of late I started a new job and I'm cream crakered. I am definately saving some energy for next wkend - so if any of you guys or gals arrive and feel a little out of place just shout 'Smoochie' and I'll introduce you to others or hangout for a drink or a boogie. I have absolutely no idea what I am going to wear but knowing me it will be quite outrageous I might do some last minute shopping on sat. It is quite possible I will be getting lashed as it is my b'day on thursday so I'm making it a double celebration.
woohoo it's party time..... shuuuuum on!!!

No one to go with, you have now!
Hi All,
I have been to a few meets now and know that a lot of people miss out on the fun because they have no one to go with or feel too shy to go in alone. Well, I'm not sure whether I will be heading up from West or SE London yet but am offering to meet up with people before going in. I will also introduce you to 'The Team'(London Meet organisers) and a few familiar faces to make you feel relaxed and enjoy the evening. I met a good bunch of people at the last meet and everyone was there for the same reason... to have fun :)
Oh to get into the spirit of things I am considering dressing up 80's style, well when in Rome as they say hahaha
I'm also going to look into getting a hotel room this time so if I can get any special rates will let you know
Sooo, if you would like to meet up before going in or even at the venue let me know :)
Let's Party!!!

Best places to live in UK
Posted:
3/23/2007 10:13:51 AM
yowzers lol well I grew up in SE London lived near Crystal Palace, went to Croydon College etc and still have family and friends that way HOWEVER.... I would NEVER move back to any of those places, it really depends on the type of area which interests you and the amount you have to spend. London is very very expensive. I live in West London in Chiswick, it is really cosmopolitan, low crime rate, not far from river, Richmond is nice, Putney, Nottinghill, parts of Kensington, there are also nice places in Surrey (although not all) Egham, Cobham, Cheam, South Coast is nice, Cornwall, Bath, I don't really know the North etc but I personally WOULDN'T choose North Manchester, Croydon, Clapham (although there are some really nice places and bistros etc in Clapham Common), Norwood, Streatham, brixton, Peckham, Elephant and Castle, Kings Cross I could go on lol Stay away from these places don't listen to people about up and coming haha if they're up and coming leave them to others to go there first and send you a postcard if you know what I mean.

coils can make you actually bleed heavier and for longer they're not for everyone, my mum became pregnant on the coil and then some men can feel it during sex and there are also horror stories of it moving out of place and damaging people internally... YIKES. I have definately thought about it myself as I am not on the pill anymore I had enough of the constant problems ie bleeding thru months of pills, mega hormonal, anger some send you a bit loopy lou lol
dieting I find I have to calorie count I plataeau alot which is frustrating but it's the only way for some of us it is a life long commitment I am starting again on monday lol xjx

I have PCOS I was diagnosed with it a few years back now. I have always had irregual periods which before having a child used to leave me rolling on the floor in pain. Because of the hormone imbalance the only thing I can relate it too is like having bad mood swings or PMT. I have been on many different contraceptive pills to try and treat the symptoms but none have really worked for one reason or another. I have also been prescribed anti depressants but I was reluctant to take them because although it is hormonal I am not actually suffering depression just something which displays similar symptoms if you understand. I also didn't want to be a slave to pills like that.
Having PCOS, can affect your ability to lose weight aswll which has been a pain in the butt. The bad thing about having it is that I don't usually realise until like a wk later that I have actually been a lil irrational or short fused. I actually found it really hard when I had postnatal depression it was a bloomin nightmare. When I was younger my mood swings were blamed on being a teen and when older people say oh pmt hahaha. The thing is it has actually been a stressful contributor to relationships I have had because it makes u a little emotional and you really need to be with a guy who is understanding and gives you a bit of slack (although if you're not careful you may justify everytime you are off with someone etc for having it which is wrong lol). I feel after having had it for quite awhile and knowing you can be a bit sensitive to certain situations it has made me a lil more cautious when making important descisions with regards to things that are important just incase I make a rash descision based on my hormones at the time and not actually what I really want. I hope you understood what I was trying to get at hahaha. I also hate the fact that depending on the severity women with PCOS tend to get more body hair and sporadic hairs maybe on belly or around nipples, lip hair... unfortunately my familysaid I have always been hairy and took after my dad so I can't really use that one haha.
I just accept it as a condition which I have which can't be cured... no it isn't contageous (for some of the people out there lol)
PCOS can also affect a person ability to concieve, this made sense to me as I always wondered how I had been soo lucky in my first relationship, not to fall pregnant.
My pregnancy was unplanned I was notorious for missing pills and had also been ill whilst on holiday. I'm sure the doctor said to me that when you come off the pill you are extremely fertile would make sense really lol. The again I have been told having a child means nothing to my ability to have a child in the future I suppose it depends if the condition gets any worst.
I'm sorry to hear about your endometriosis, not good at all but I hear they have surgery for it although I won't claim to have looked into it much.

Yeah but they were suggesting also that because of her behaviour lately and partying lifestyle that she lobbed them off in a panic over kevin going for custody of the kids and rumours of a possible drug test.
I don't think whatever money they'd make it would be anywhere near the amount she has in the bank and it was public property such as when I put my rubbish bag outside.
I think the drug thing could be true and also she may have been having a breakdown as it seems a lil extreme to be shaving your head and getting a cpl of piercings and tattoos in the same day. Then again I don't agree with her party lifestyle as a mum to two young kids and her time and time again having pics of her gash in the papers cos she won;t wear any under crackers. Yes I know I wear some riskee stuff but I'm sorry I couldn't imagine going to a club with no nix on my god what a mess the floor would be if all us girls did it.
I also thought she was utterly irresponsible and damn right stoopid to drive with a baby on her lap. Come on Brit you made your bed now lie in it... we have 2 choices as parents crash and burn or keep going I think when kevin took their kids off her mum whilst she was inside that this was her wake up call go sort yourself out and then be a mum xjx

Paying for sex ok?
Posted:
2/28/2007 8:43:06 AM
Adultery is what it is no matter how you try to dress it up. I think that people should have the right to sell it legally if that is what they want to do but in designated brothels take it off the streets like Dam this would also I assume wipe out pimps. I think there should also be strict guidlines because of STIs. I have known men who have openly admitted to having slept with prostitutes thank god no one I have been out with lol. I personally think it is a bit sleazy especially if its a guy who i am thinking of going out with. I can't understand why someone would pay for something that they can easily enough get for free. I don't judge the people that sell their bodies though. It reminds me of being in a club a guy buying u a cpl of drinks andthinking that he has some rights to u for the evening or night lol. I have actually seen some guys comment aswell when I take a woman out on a date and pay for everything and we have sex what really is the difference except for the hookers you are guaranteed what you pay for lol
On a serious note though I think it may actually reduce the number of sexually motivated assualts if more people went to prostitutes
Gizmoman... you take as good as you get and it was wrong of you to judge the guy you don't know his personal circumstances and I applaud him for saying he uses prostitutes atleast he is honest most men who do use them wouldn't dream of letting others know especially on a dating site where a potential gf etc could see. As far as some comment I saw about you doubting people doing it to put food on the table or something... how do you know!!! You obviously haven't realistically thought about what some people are driven to by poverty. I do think Stonecastle has the right to have sex this way but maybe turning a blind eye to the fact it is just a job to these women not really a way of finding that love you wait for. Yes your odds probably go up dramatically by sleeping with pros but I could go out have protected sex with a guy tomorrow yet contract HIV through unprotected oral

kylieskool I do agree with you that there are a lot of ppl on benefits who really shouldn't be but alot of ppl go 'on the sick' when there is nothing wrong with them as we see in the papers countless times. I have been on benefits since having my child in 2002 and am actually just looking for work now. I wasn't on 'the sick' although it took me nearlly 2 yrs to entirely recover and my child was ill and had to go to specialists, then it got soo close to my nipper starting full-time school there seemed no point until this was so. Also... my family don't live near so I have no support and being a single mum couldn't afford to go back to work without having a registered childminder as that is the only way you can get working families' tax cr to cover childcare. Then again, I am educated and have worked since I was 15 and paid my taxes and therefore feel I am entitled to NHS and benefits no matter how poor the standards.
Matrons nowdays would have about as much power as a biblebasher coming to my door and me telling them to 'do one' lol.
You'd make 16 yr old men go into the army... well tbh a 16 yr old isn't an adult they just think they are because the law says (currently) that they can smoke and have sex big deal. It reminds me of the 1st and 2nd World Wars where young men died after being forced to enlist before they even had a chance to have a proper life. Tbh I know a lot of squaddies and most are nice guys but a hell of a lot are there because no1 else will have them and they have left school with no qualifications and the idea of the army teaching them to be proper men well is laughable. Girls going to boot camp I assume you mean the type of girls who are from low socio economical areas and who hang about with gangs drinking n smoking weed and having 4 kids by 18 each with diff dads lmao. It's a lil bit erm discriminative what you're saying but I think I can see what you mean.
Maybe if you ran the country you could give us all some extra help with literacy and our use of the English language!!!

Being a parent with all the freaks, nonces, gun totting tots, ppl feeling intimidated by kids who need discipline and be forced to go to school or work and to stop feelin god damn sorry for themselves and blaming boredom on crime they commit. Ppl driving without licenses killing people and getting a £200 fine and smack on the wrist, bullying, smack heads hanging around outside schools trying to hook your kids or in the case of this bird I knew at college injecting her in the neck with heroine. Kids losing their V reg younger and younger and kids having babies. Not having the money to live in a decent area to bring your kid/s up in and worrying about housing, education, peer pressure, the state of the NHS and what it could mean to your family if they got ill. Wondering if you will be able to pay the bills that month and thinking how much money uniform, shoes, school trips cost. Then thinking about how you are going to spend the school holidays with your kids keeping them entertained when everywhere is getting soo expensive and having to trawl the net for free museums and stuff. I personally think the summer holidays are too long aswell haha the average person has what 3 wks off a yr or so and that wouldn't cover the summer hols plus half terms.
Nurses work long hrs yes but jobs like mine are 24/7/365 and that is usually on top of working to earn a crust.
So that is my 2pence worth lol xjx

You wouldn't keep an animal alive if they were suffering so why would you do it to a human!! I think when they say about human rights that it is in cases like this which it should count who is anyone else to say that a person doesn't have the right to end their life when faced with terminal illness maybe losing their motor skills and ability to function properly. Having loved ones watch as they waste away and lose their dignity. I also know someone who had their tubes removed towards the end when there was nothing more that cud be done.
People say about playing god but that is basically what could be said about us using medicine etc and on the other end of the coin posioning ourselves with pollution.

postnatal depression
Posted:
2/27/2007 4:25:00 PM
I had it for 2 yrs and was ill from not having proper aftercare and my child had colic. There was screaming all night I was walking the walls and stayed in my nightie most of the time from sleep deprivation and cried and was actually on the edge at one point and knew I needed help. I would cry every other month for my family to take my child and that I wasn't ready to be a mum or wasn't able to give my child what they needed and they'd be better off with sum1 else etc. My mum said she would come and get my baby but I always stopped her because I didn't really want to give up and thought if I went back to work and my baby came home at wknds etc that I would go out one sat and then it would be a month and then longer before we were together again and I didn't want that in reality I just couldn't cope. I was mood swings galore which didn't help because I have polycystic ovary syndrome too affecting the hormones. I went on diff anti ds until one worked then I woke up one day and thought I'm not depressed anymore and came off them. I hate it when drs are soo eager to put ppl on pills for depression when people seem to lose sight of the fact often it is external factors which depress us and not the fact that it is we are suffering actual depression and need medicating me all have bad days where we don;t feel like getting up or things go wrong and we wish we could go back to bed lol.
Tbh some days it felt like it would never end but it does :) xjx

Is Being Gay Genetically Determind Or A So-Called Lifestyle Choice
Posted:
2/27/2007 4:10:25 PM
oh god I love nature vs nurture
I think some people are born gay and others just turn that way because of external influences ie maybe abuseor first sexual partner was same sex etc. I know quite a few women who are about 40 and had kids who have ended up gay. I also think that sometimes when ppl are vulnerable they can be manipulated into thinking they're gay but someone who is, showing them affection something they possibly missed. I also know from my own experience with friends that they sometimes misinterprete genuine friendship for love or lust thus quite a few of my girl friends have tried it on with me I think and nah they weren't all bi but I am wey heyyyyy cos I'm greedy and like the best of both worlds xjx

Driving mistakes!
Posted:
2/27/2007 3:55:55 PM
My driving intensive and test last year:
I hit a double decker bus and took the wingmirror clean off on my 2nd day. Which lead to me getting something called 'zoneing' where u end up steering into parked cars or oncoming traffic you lose your sense of judgement.
In the test:
I did a reverse around a left hand corner and ended up on the right side of the road because I didn't turn the wheel quick enough
I went to emerge into oncoming traffic at a roundabout and got dual controlled and then hit a traffic island.
I had the nerves kick in doing the 3 point turn and had such a shakey leg i got done for hesitation
at the end of the test I tried to take priority froma side road and nearlly hit a car head on
I got 35/35 in my theory and 56 out of 70 odd in my hazard perception lmao

On the pull when pregnant - is that ok?
Posted:

I know what you are saying I have spoken to many guys and it is a fantasy for quite a few to have sex with a pregnant woman.
The lowest of the low are guys who try and play women with a child/kids and say they want to have something serious with the woman cos she isn't giving out and spends time with the child/kids she has and then buggers off when he finally gets his leg over. Being a player is one thing involving someone's children is another.
I have also heard men say before that they would sleep with a pregnant woman casually even but wny would they wna tie themselves down with someone else's kid
It just depends on an individual's morals I guess.

I don;t think pregnancy has anything to do with it if you are single. The guy can obviously see what the situation is and aslong as you practice safe sex I don't see the problem. A friend of mine had 2 gfs at diff stages who he met when they were pregnant and he was just a nice guy who saw it as a bonus xjx

Right or wrong to vet your children's internet use?
Posted:

I don't think through my own experience that I would allow a child of mine under 16 to go on the net into chatrooms. There are far too many nonces out there and general unsavories out there. I would be emailing the guys asking them if they were ready for a castration with a god damn rusty spoon I may also add in that I would hunt them down and stick my thumbs in their eyes ...dirty fekaz.
Your children are your responsibility especially if still living at home you only have to ask yourself how you would feel if you not monitoring them had lead to them meeting some guy potentially who attacked or groomed them into doing what they wanted, and then you have your answer. We all think we're adults at 14 odd but we're too inexperienced to really comprehend how twisted some ppl can be. Besides if your child has nothing to hide then they won't mind you looking over their shoulder now and again.

Yes I often like to talk about politics during foreplay
Nah I don't think there is a need for chat all the time during sex it would be too expectant otherwise

Underage minors kids children teenagers on the site

It remindsme of the time in my life b4 pof and having a modem when i went on wap chat rooms and this guy called me and was whispering I said why are u whispering he replied because my brother is babysitting I went who his reply was....ME hahaha he was 14 I nearlly died sooooo stoopid I then told him to delete my number and go find a nice girl his own age. it is rather scarey the jailbait which is around then again I have had various men lie about their ages on profiles saying they knew I wouldn't chat to them if I knew they were 20 etc and wanted me to get to know them and then maybe I would see them differently xjx

What frightens you
Posted:

I had the same phobia of dying when I was a teen and then again when I was pregnant. Alas, the only thing certain in life is death!! I then realised it wasn't death I feared it was the actually uncertainty of change and there being possibly nothing or me being alone. It brought me comfort when my mum said to me when ever she died she would wait for me and when I died we would wait for my child etc. I also thought that maybe I feared because I hadn't found a faith. Then again I believe in the afterlife and that the body is a vessel and the soul lives on and that possibly we are reincarnated until some stage where our soul moves on somewhere else. People say about afterlife etc there is nothing concrete and want scientific proof I say well it's a lil ignorant when we only know a small part of the brain even. Why do we have to have scientific answers already to believe in something.
My grandad wasn't a religious man and believed that when we die we die but when he was dying of cancer he saw angels my family asked the macmillan nurses whether it was the drugs and they said no!!! People often talk of the feeling of peace as well who have maybe died on an operating table and been revived.
I am a bit scared of spiders but then again anyone would be if you were living with someone and one day you come home to find a tarantula is a new house guest. Hmmm, it has just made me think of Freud what a fruit loop he was. He believed that phobia of spiders was symbolic to a child having an adults hand placed on their mouth in circumstances of abuse the crack pot god knows what life he had to come up with his theories.
I really want to do a bungee or skydive but the thought of freefalling ....arrrrhhhh. Also potholing my god I have images of getting stuck and perishing in sum hole.
I suppose I also frightened of giving my heart to someone again incase I get hurt but to love you have to take risks I guess
Haha what a joyful subject xjx

The Strangest Hotel in Britain ... xx
Posted:
2/27/2007 7:10:55 AM
Haha I saw this and turned it off half way through. I thought it was initially going to be about some Fawlty Towers story I read in The Sun. Having grown up with people with mental disabilities such as Downs it wasn't really anything interesting for me to watch tbh especially as I've worked in a hotel myself. Not that I don't think the idea is nice! I skimmed through some of the other msgs left and actually felt some were a little patronising in the tone basically of 'aww aren't they sweet/misunderstood' etc. Yes people with disabilities especially if both physically and mentally handicapped get discriminated against or make some people a little anxious but then again why should we expect people to be comfortable with something they are unfamiliar with. For example I might be scared of doing a bungee jump but to someone who has done it they would probably be saying arh go on there is nothing to it... we need reassurance sometimes in the things we do. Every person has their own personality irregardless of mental disability some people are loving, some grumpy, some chilled, some on the go all the time...
Even after 26yrs of experience with ppl with Downs and me now being a mother I personally wouldn't entrust my child in daycare to someone with it. Yes it is different if a person with Downs is there to help but not have sole responsibility of my child. I have known people who don't feel extreme change in temperature ie touching an iron and some who can not distinguish between danger and safety and a lot who do not know their own strength and some who sit there and pretend to change their imaginery babies at 36yrs old and who think that Eastenders really exists and can't fathom why Martine McClutcheon is in other films when they saw Tiffany die. Some have OCD and keep wiping down walls/curtains etc.
I have read about ppl with downs having kids and tbh I don't agree with it. Human rights... fair enough but you wouldn't encourage a 7yr old to have a baby or someone where u say at 27 goes yeah I want a baby and in the next breath is packing their bags and has jumped on a bus looking for someone who has gone missing off a soap.
We mustn't forget there is a big diff between physical and mental disability and there are also diff degrees. I know people with MS, Cysytic Fibrosis, spina bifida, Downs, brain damage, wheelchair bound, some people with the mental age of a child.
I love the fact that people with diff disabilities are able to get schooling and I totally agree with special schools too being there for those with severe situations because they have teachers are specially trained and they provide physio etc. I love it that there is college, discos and outings/holidays available aswell.
I hope ppl don't take what I'm saying in the wrong way I just speak from my own experience and because it is something I am passionate about. Where I like everyone to be given rights etc but where we also are sensible and give people realistic goals. Like someone mentioned about a woman getting bullied well why the hell hasn't someone stepped in and stopped it and if the others who are bullying don't have the same degree of disabilities and are meant to be adults on a childcare course we have to ask ourselves what the hell are they doing there and would I want this type of person looking after my child. I'd personally go to the tutor and make a complaint in writing to the college. Bullying occurs in all walks of life and we need to stand up for ppl who are vulnerable irregardless of anything like mental/physical state etc.
Anywhoooo after my rambling on toodle pip xjx

The tomb of Jesus discovered..

Haha I know they say freedom of speech and everything but saying what people believe in is basically BS is rather harsh you should respect other ppl's right to believe in what they like. Yes we all can sit here saying the church is powerful and can create war and control ppl etc and yes maybe jesus christ is just a story or a guy a lil ahead of his time in someways ie illusions but why do we need an answer for everything we only know a small section of the brain even after having science for god knows how ever long (pardon the pun) I personally don;t think there is anything wrong in ppl believeing in something that brings them comfort. Some ppl need something to have faith in when the pooh hits the fan or bad things happen etc. I think I would go back to ying and yang about war I think for everything in life there is an equal measure. Thus the greatest of good would mean there is an equal amount of bad. If you believe in the bible anyhow u say about god and war etc what about adam and eve or freewill in general!! I actually think it is interesting to learn about diff cultures and beliefs I love Greek mythology and classical studies. I also think that it is a lil silly to say such sweeping statements when at the end of the day it is our own greed that causes a lot of stuff that happens ie. the environment, war, poverty. I also think going back to the bible etc that like the New testament which was written hundreds of yrs later was possibly using storys with metaphorical meanings about morality etc. You talk about impressionable folk from 2000 yrs ago and cults so why has nothing changed have ppl not learnt!! lol
Nobody said life had to be fair but we all know we as the human race have a power to sort alot of stuff out but we choose not to.
eg. write off 3rd world countries debts
be more vigilant over protecting the environment we and our kids will live in
bring back capital punishment for ppl who are nonces etc and try and remember the
rights of the victims because stuff like that is in the mind it isn;t what I believe
something you can cure. Like I don't think you know all your life your hetrosexual and
have someone tell you in a session no you're not it is wrong and expect you to go
ofcourse I'm wrong I'm gay (if you catch my drift)
etc.....

Yeah isn't that what the Da Vinci code suggests that Mary Magdalene was his wife and she was pictured to the left of Christ in the Last Supper painting. As men had beards and something to do with her being the holy vessel. Yet the bible states that she was a prostitute I wonder why this was maybe because they couldn't imagine Jesus having sex maybe it would make him just a normal man. I think they could carbon date etc and do the tests like they did on the Turin Shroud but how would they know it was really Jeseus and just not someone from the same period. It's a little funny though how a film director claims to have found such a sacred thing why wouldn't it be someone local and why now lol.
I have the feeling that Jesus was married to Mary Magdelene because if he was a man of such high morals and purity why would he sleep with a woman outside of marriage I can imagine it as being rather frowned up seeing as even in some countries today women bearing kids out of wedlock are treated like they were in the 50s
The bit about descendants well tbh do you know who you came from 2000 yrs ago!!

I was a bit peeved about O'Neills so I just rang them
What I asked:
Me:Is there air con?
Mgr:Yes there is and I think it is pretty good on the first floor.
Me: well I probably wore the least amount of clothing in that bar last night and I'd like to disagree with you.
Me: What happened to the sound system last night on the 1st fl?
Mgr: I don't know what you mean it was fine maybe a little loud
Me: you call it going off twice for substantial amounts of time fine
Mgr: I didn't notice
Me: Did you exceed you health and safety limit last night?
Mgr: No we have a man on the door clicking ppl in and out we are allowed 900 in the bar
Me: I would compare it at points to being in a mosh at a festival it was that tight I can't believe you never broke your H&S limit.
Me: Why do you use glass and not plastic when you have such a busy venue?
Mgr: I have said this b4 to my boss and for some reason it was turned down but we have a meeting this afternoon
Me: It makes sense and I want you to raise it in your meeting
Me: I came as part of a dating site meet. I wasn't involved in organising the meet but I have had it confirmed by those who had that they had regulur communication with your mgmnt...Why weren't they told that you were showing the Rugby especially when ireland were playing as you are an Irish Pub? You can't expect everyone to know about sport and what you are and aren't showing.
Mgr: We had the rugby a few wks ago on here and it wasn't as busy. Let's put it like this we made an extra 20k last night compared to usual
Me: and you are still telling me you never exceeded you H&S
Me: Soooo... then it is quite likely that a few hundred people from our meet had contributed to your takings last nite!
Me: I had to wait at the bar up to 40 mins last night and your bar staff were randomly serving customers and every time I went up ppl who had been waiting less time than me got served...WHY?
Mgr: well it is really busy and they may have not realised how long you were waiting you should have told them you were next
Me: (chuckle) you can't be serious I'm not going to shout at bar staff to serve me next do you really think they will care when they are surrounded by hundreds of ppl who have been drinking. I think you need to have more staff on-call when you have busy nights.
Me: I had to call security TWICE last night for a woman who had locked herself in a toilet cubicle and who was virtually comatose from alcohol, the heat and dehydration... WHY? I didn't wear 6inch odd heels to stand on a toilet trying to see if someone is conscious.
Mgr: Yes thank you for letting me know
Me: Granted the security asked her if she was ok and she said fine but if she was she wouldn't have needed assistance to open the toilet door.
Oh well so apparently this manager is having a meeting this afternoon to discuss last night.

Morning.. or shall I say afternoon!!
God I feel rough this morning was a good night only due to the good company though.
Bad points:
The place ramming
The sound system was buggered on the 1st floor
It took 25 mins or so to get served at the bar or to reach a toilet cubicle
Also I don't think they have heard of air con and I'm pretty sure that the numbers they were hoarding in were well over the legal health and safety allowance.
It was fab to finally meet everyone I have a feeling though that a lot of fish were floating round without their badges on... you naughty people.
Shout out to Jrly2k, Magacocktail, Hams, Misty(and daughter), Student Nurse, SMS, Eyes123, Troylucas... oh bugger I can't remember anymore names but I took some pics to make up for the sneaky bad ones taken of me lol.
I think we should try and find a new venue for our next meet cos I have a feeling it will be the same story with O'Neills everytime we go although I suppose the rugby was a contributing factor
Thanks everyone for a brill night xjx
