Thanks for the replies. I took him off my favorites and have moved on. I was more bothered by the standing me up thing than the being on pof after our date. Just to clear things up definitely wasn't looking to get exclusive after one date, just wanted to know if others had noticed people logging in after a good date. But good answers, never thought about the forums and such.

No, I got online the next day to see if he was online and it said he was online last at midnight or so. And he wasn't checking up on me, because Im not on his favorites list. Just thought it was odd.

Didn't expect him to pull his ad off or even stop dating other girls. But getting on POF at midnight right after our date, not cool. Getting stood up, definitely not cool.

That's very true. I guess some girls might react that way. Not me, but maybe some other girls would. But why would you say that you really wanted to see them again? And even set up a date and time for another date? And why would you call and text Right after the date talking about how much fun you had and how well you like them? It seems to me that if I am not interested in seeing the person again. I would end the date quickly, say thank you, go home and not call them ever again.

I was just wondering if this happens to others on here. You talk to someone via email on here. The conversation goes really well. You might even add him or her to your favorites. You set up a date. You go on the date, and it goes extremely well. There are plenty of times for the other person to bail, if they would like, but they choose not to. In fact, the date last longer than normal. Maybe even with a kiss. Then they text and call you, and say that they had a great time and was really excited about seeing you again. Ya'll plan another date for the next day. Then you notice that right after your date, he or she has been online on plenty of fish. It makes me think that he or she wasn't that interested. Then you get stood up. It happened to me. Any thoughts?

I had a guy schedule a date for a Sat. night, directions and all. He never showed up, no call, no nothing. I emailed him the next day and asked what happened? No response. Three weeks later he emailed me and said he feel asleep, lol and if I was still interested and could forgive him, give him a call tonight. I asked him if he was a hybernating bear that sleep for three weeks, then went on to say that I was interested anymore, but thanks. Yea, rude people, they're out there.

Actually you can get a single room, you have to pay a single supplement, so please make sure your information is correct before you tell people that they are wrong. And as far as playing games, we didn't really, actually we were strikingly honest with each other. And all turned out okay in the end.

Well, just got back. Didn't sleep with him, so yea for me. No romance at seas at all. I actually started not liking him as much, AT ALL. He kinda got on my nerves. We hung out together and shared a few laughs, but the spark for me was gone by day one. I don't know what it was, just nothing there anymore. Which is good. We say that we will stay friends, but I doubt we will be as close. He lives an hour away and well, we are both looking for something that we didn't find in each other. My lesson learned is going solo next year is probably a better idea. Think I would have had more fun on my own and with a little more space.

Yea, we have already discussed the whole "not hooking up with anyone else on the ship." I asked him if he was going to hit on other girls on the cruise and stuff and he said no, that would just be wrong. That we are going together to spend time together and it should just be about us having fun together.

The only reason he went ahead and said "just friends" is because I kept asking if we were dating or just friends. At first, he didn't really want to define it, but I kept asking. I think that might have been one of my big mistakes. Should have just went with the flow and see what happens, but I got different advice from friends and family. Oh well, no matter what, we will have fun on the trip, we always have fun together. And the FWB thing isn't really my scene.

So I started dating this guy I met online. Things were going great. I was playing a little hard to get, you know, the whole waiting for him to call me, etc. It seemed to be working. So we have been going out for about a month. I wasn't sure if he was seeing other girls. And I was kind of confused as to what we were as far as defining the relationship. We had kissed a few times, but that was it. Which was fine with me, slow is okay. We really enjoy each other's company and laugh a whole lot. So I told him I had booked a cruise to the Bahamas and was going solo. He mentioned him going with me and the more we talked about it, the better it sounded. So he booked the cruise and was going to go with me. We had decided to share a room. It was cheaper and there were two beds so no pressure really. We'll I really started to wonder where this was headed, as far as our relationship goes. So I finally asked. At first he said that he saw something happening with us in the future and liked the way things were going and didn't really want to define it. Okay. So a couple of weeks later I found out from him that he had went out with another girl, no biggie. But the green eyed monster showed up within me. A day or two later he said he thought we should just be friends. So now we leave on the cruise tomorrow and well, I have kind of fallen for him, and I will be sharing a room with him, so..... What do you think? Play it cool or stir up a lil something? Im thinking his mind isn't as made up as he thinks it is....

Sleepsafe, I don't know too much about guns, I've seen a few military guns in the past dating a Green Beret and Sniper from Fort Campbell, KY when I was younger. But it had a black power scope on top. Black round clinder attached to the top of it.

I haven't heard back from him. And don't really expect to. I guess I am a little nieve, when he showed it to me in the trunk, I didn't act really surprised or anything, I guess because I didn't know that it was illegal and he said he was going hunting tomorrow. I just said I dated two guys in the army, a sniper and a green beret from Fort Campbell when I was about 22, so those types of guns don't really impress me too much. I guess I should have been more afraid, but I didn't really think too much about it, until I posted this. Now I've been glancing out my window into the woods across from my apt. wondering. He didn't seem threatening or anything, just a bit strange. But I don't think I will report it. If I don't hear anything from him, I'm just going to mind my own business. No point in making myself a target. Besides, I don't think I'd be much help I don't kn0w where he lives or his last name. And no, it wasn't on POF where I met him, if it was I would be too afraid to post this. It was on another dating website.

Singlesnet.com is where I met the date with the rifle. He was a paying member, I wasn't. You can respond to paying members for free though. Some other dates from there turned out okay though.

To the guy who said my story BS, no it wasn't. I kind of wish it was though. The way he brought up the gun was he said he was going hunting tomorrow. He said look in the side of the door. And I looked and there were gun shells. I don't anything about guns so I didn't know what kind of shells they were. And I guessed when it didn't impress or shock me that's when he had to show me the rifle. No, he works in customer service, but did mention that he was a sniper a few years ago in the army. I still found this all to be a bit strange. Oh yea, my bad, trunk of his Mercedes, Im sure no one on plentyof fish ever makes typos, lol.

Okay, went out on an inernet date last night. On my birthday (thanks, lol). The guy looked all American, never talked to him, only texted him. Anyway, he comes and we meet. He is driving a Mercedes Benz, which cars don't really impress me much, so okay. Anyway, he is from the Check Republic (I know I spelled it wrong). Kind of a surprise, a thick accent, ok, no big deal. He seems okay at first. He asked what I would like to do I said I don't know dinner and talk I guess that is a start. That is what we takked about before anyway. Oh, by the way he texted me he was running an hour late. So I am starving by now anyway. He says oh Im not hungry, I already ate, but I will go and watch you eat. Yeah, that's not strange or uncomfortable. So I order just a small salad so you know its not too awkward. Hes pretty quite, talks occasionally, says America is headed downhill, at one point. Anyway, we go shoot pool, its okay. Time to go home, and we are driving in the apt complex (my car was in the shop), and he parks and gets out to walk me to the door, I assume. He walks around to the back of the car and opens the truck and says come here I want to show you something. I look and he has a sniper rifle with tons of ammunition in the back of the truck. Thats my sniper, It is very accurate and could take anyone out at anytime and no one would know what hit them. Nice!! So he walks me to the door talking about his gun and I say goodnight. At which point he reaches into my shirt to feel me up. So I go in and shut the door. Happy Birthday to me. Any girls out there, have these kind of experiences, or is it just me?

If a guy said that to me after running out, I wouldn't have met him again either. Plus, I would think he was the strange one. I mean, even if girls did ask you for that on a first dates (which I doubt), why would you tell it to another first date, especially if it is something which you are trying to avoid (which I also doubt, lol)

My pup usually sleeps in the bed with me too. But I have crate trained him ever since he was a puppy. His pen is right beside my bed. It has his dog bed in it and his pillow and blanket, with his toys. He sleeps in it in the day while I'm at work. But in the last few months I started dating I let him sleep in his pen at night as well. That way, if a guy stays over, Bug (my dog) won't mind sleeping in his pen. He doesn't seem to mind it at all. If your dog has never been crate trained, it will probably take a little time to get him/her used to it. My suggestion is get him/her a open crate so they can see out and place it beside your bed, so that the dog can see you. Fill it with all their stuff (toys, blanket, pillows, bones, etc.) They will get used to it. It is the easiest thing to do. Good luck.

There will be kareoke contest and prizes as well. The admission is $11.95 after 3pm to get into the park, and this event is free. I thought POF members who would like to come could meet at 6pm in the front entrance of the park. The dive in movie is for ages 21 and up. Please let me know if you would like to attend or need directions. It is sure to be a good time for all.
