I would introduce a line of tail-fashion-related products and retire at 35 ;-) Come on, this IS Vancouver!

Would you drive an electric car or truck?
Posted: 4/6/2009 9:46:47 PM
I would definitely drive an electric vehicle! Unfortunately, the technology has yet to be tried and true.. which is the only reason why I bought myself a gas-powered car. However, I figure that when I'm ready to purchase my next vehicle, Green technology would have been in the market for enough time for me to confidently make a decision.

Even if gas and electric cost the same, I'd still go for the electric. It's our own little way of reducing our carbon footprint.. given that we can efficiently recycle electric cars :-)

what does forgiveness mean to you

My definition of forgiveness means that whenver you see the person, your initial thought is not the wrong that person has done to you in the past.

What questions do YOU ponder in the middle of the night?
Posted: 12/31/2008 2:55:48 AM
Given that I believe everything happens for a reason,I take significant events and backtrack to find integral choices I made to come to that particular conclusion. Then I wonder "What if.."

younger man older woman???
Posted: 12/8/2008 11:26:44 PM
If the both of you feel like you've reached similar stages in life, I don't see why not! And if it's just for fun, then I don't see why an older woman wouldn't want a 20-something guy.

It's Only Money

For me: A penthouse at the Shangri La.
For her: Beachside house at Kits beach w/ a giant walk-in closet?

But of course, there'd have to be a 'her' first!

if we knew how long we had
Posted: 12/8/2008 11:15:35 PM
Great question!

Oh wow, I'd sell all my assets and travel the world and see everything I've wanted to see and experience all the extreme sports that I've always wanted to do. Jumping (cliff/cave, sky diving, bungee in New Zealand), learn to scuba dive/surf...

I'd tell all the people I care about how much they mean to me.

But at the end of it all, I'd spend the last few moments with family.

do men actually like curvy women vs the skinny pencil one?
Posted: 12/7/2008 2:57:38 PM
Pencil thin: http://www.evilbeetgossip.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/06/jaslene_mansion.jpg

Curvy: http://www.thevine.com.au/resources/IMGDETAIL/060408100958_fulle-rfigure.jpg

Fat: http://fullfigureplus.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/07/velvet_lg.jpg

Do we all agree with this? Lets say pencil thin is 1 and fat is 5 with the midrange being (Left to right) 2-4.

I'd prefer a 2.

This post is getting a little ridiculous without any sort of definition of exactly what kind of body shapes everyone is talking about!

Breaking up over a video game??
Posted: 11/16/2008 11:48:46 AM
http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,1859231,00.html?imw=Y

"In Second Life, users create an online persona, known as an avatar, which moves freely through the imagined world, making friends, socializing and buying property with the game's virtual currency, the Linden dollar (so named for the developers behind the game). At any given moment, 38,000 users are logged on to the site".

Basically, wifey met hubby through this video game. Wifey then catches Hubby's avatar cheating on her with someone else's avatar. Wifey divorces Hubby.

Someone taking the video game too seriously? Or is this a new perspective on what constitutes as "cheating" ?

Thoughts? Comments?

Does technology have a conscience?
Posted: 11/16/2008 11:44:44 AM
As long as the user realizes the limitations of the technology, then I don't see it being a huge drawback.

For example, it is impossible to convey certain emotions through text. Thus, do NOT have that type of conversation through MSN! Choose the phone or face to face.

On the flipside,

If it's more convenient to make plans over MSN/Email, technology makes life easier.

The user should have a conscience to NOT use what's meant to be convenient to have conversations that should be more personal.

Obama...The next Martin Luther King Jr.?

Apparently, it's more fitting to view Obama as the next Abe Lincoln. I, personally, don't know much about US history but feel free to discuss that angle.

Do you wish the worst for your ex?
Posted: 11/7/2008 8:04:30 PM
Absolutely not. I wish for nothing less than true love and all the success for her, she's a great person and she deserves it. I honestly wish that all her wishes come true! And that goes for all my ex-girlfriends.. even the bitter ones!

The fish burger from McDonalds reminds me of my late grandfather. Gah.. what's it called.. Filet o' Fish!

Certain perfumes are linked to certain women.

That dirty, sweet smell of bars will forever remind me of being a busboy at Horizons on BBY Mountain haha

do men actually like curvy women vs the skinny pencil one?
Posted: 10/22/2008 7:29:44 PM
I think the subject has been biased just by the words the OP has chosen!

I prefer the skinny "pencil" ones. However, I'm attracted to the ones that're athletic enough to play sports (Think women's beach volleyball types). They aren't anorexic or anything, just really in shape!

.. as opposed to the skinny b/c they don't eat enough types.

Do you eat farm salmon?
Posted: 10/22/2008 3:22:14 PM
Its pretty easy to tell one from the other:

Farmed salmon is orange w/ thick fatty lines (VERY common to sushi restaurants)
Wild salmon is much more red in colour w/ VERY thin fatty lines

Not a huge deal to me but if I have the opportunity to have wild salmon, I will always opt for it over farmed.

INSTANT Turnoffs?
Posted: 10/22/2008 3:17:16 PM
I thought this would be a fun topic to start!

Here are some of mine:

- Bad spelling/grammar (ex. Cofe is a grate idea. Their is a awesome place on Commershal)
- REALLY short profile descriptions (ex. Hey, I'm me, no time to write here, message me if you want to know more!)
- A combination of the 2.

By the way, I'm new to the forum, hello everybody :-)
