Fort Hood shooting - What are the questions? What are the answers?
Posted:

The answer is, he's going to face a military tribunal, and since this IS a time of War, they can very well send him to the firing squad...but will more likely send him to the gas chamber to be put down like the rabid dog he was.
Whether he's nuts or not...the Tribunal will "Make Note of", but they'll still use the Death Penalty for him. None of that liberal namby-pamby holds much water when you've got 13 dead and 41 wounded on a military base.

"Why are Are Our Military Bases Gun-Free Zones?"
Political correctness. It wasn't always that way, only since our society was taken by the throat by political liberals. Slick Willy is the one who issued that order, though I admit I am surprised Curious George didn't rescind it. You can bet your sweet bippy that the Obamination won't! Not even after yet another massacre where it's obvious to anyone with eyes to see that if the victims had not been in a gun-free zone - that is, if they were allowed either concealed or open carry - the mad dog doing the shooting would not have killed nearly as many as he did.
You look at any of them - the Long Island Railroad Massacre, Columbine, Virginia Tech and now Fort Hood - and you see the same thing: people unable to shoot back because some authority has disarmed them "for their own good." Cause and effect in these cases is so simple even Sir Bedemere's peasants could figure it out! The solution is equally simple: ARM THE PEOPLE SO THEY CAN FIGHT BACK WHEN A MAD DOG SHOWS UP. Tends to cut down on the Mad Dogs.
In Florida, we're currently trying to get a law passed like the ones in Texas where our teachers can CCW at school. Too bad there wasn't a Schoolteacher around at Ft. Hood.

Fort Hood shooting - What are the questions? What are the answers?

Perhaps the real culprit here, is former President Bill Clinton. The Washington Times revealed this morning that after he took office in 1993, the Army, under Clinton, instituted a ban on the carrying of firearms by military personnel on their bases. As a result, soldiers have been disarmed and left vulnerable to this kind of attack. Using logic, we should blame Clinton for the Fort Hood massacre. That makes more sense than blaming guns.

Precisely the problem.
Law-abiding citizens tend to abide by the laws.
Crooks could give a happy diddly-do about any law ever written.
Bring back some of the more medieval punishments...like the Iron Maiden....the Guilliotine (discontinued in 1979)...I bet we'ed have less crooks real fast...one way or the other. And only ONE appeal, better make it a Good one, because right after you are confirmed they're marching you straight to Punishment.

To be honest, the problems started shortly after we decided to mix the races in schools. When it was just white schools & black schools, folks were way more well-behaved. That's just a fact.
A great majority of the problem is black people behaving in a "Ghetto" manner, instead of trying to rise up above the pimps, pushers, & ho's like Pres. Obama did. The current crop of idiotic, mysogynistic rappers are more of a hero to black kids than the President is, and that's a problem.
When we get back to basics...parents actually parenting...less divorce & more two-parent families...girls not popping their legs open to any cute guy that comes along...then we MIGHT see some Change That We Can Believe In!!

I'm going to point out something all the Non-military haven't realized.
NO WEAPONS are ALLOWED on Military Bases unless carried by LEO's OR when they are issued to personnel just prior to deployment or training functions.
This is why an Off-Duty cop shot him...because NOBODY ELSE WAS ALLOWED TO HAVE GUNS!!
Ever notice that EVERY mass shooting has happened in a supposed GUN-FREE ZONE??
All a Gun-Free Zone means is that a nutcase will have Easy Targets that Won't Shoot Back!!
They quit allowing NCO's & Officers to carry their duty sidearms years ago...maybe now they'll bring them back??
I bet if you armed every Chief Petty Officer & Sergeant in the military, we'ed never see another mass shooting of this caliber...they'd blast the SOB pretty quick.
On a Side Note: They oughta Draw & Quarter Mr. Hasan at the front gate with the News Media given good seats. Enough with the feel-good prison sentences, it's time to get MEDIEVAL!!

It is interesting that all the attacks on Glen Beck have nothing to do with the information he is giving. The complaint must be that he shouldn't have the right to say anything not approved by Obama. Why not try answering the questions he is asking?
Ooooh...Now THERE is an intelligent question :)
That's the thing...it's often the fringe journalists that dig up the dirt FIRST. CNN sure as heck ain't going to report it.
One thing about Beck, if he sees something screwed up going on, whether by a Dem or a Rep, he screams about it...and it helps. By drawing attention to the things that politicians do on BOTH sides of the isle, he actually HELPS!
Look, we should ALL be watching FOX for an hour, then switching to HLN for an hour to get the full view. Both sides spin like a dirty dog...NONE are innocent. And YOU HAVE TO WATCH THOSE DIRTY POLITICIANS!!! I consider them nothing less than the second worst scum on earth, they're always trying to put something over on the people...so you have to CHECK carefully EVERYTHING they do!!
Example: Realize that the current health care bill has a requirement BACKED BY FINES if you do not have Health Insurance!!! Realize that those of us who are retired military are already covered by the VA's health care...why do we need to be FORCED to pay for insurance that we do not need?? There's no loophole for us to use to avoid the FINE. So we ARE FORCED to carry Insurance for things that are already covered for FREE by the VA.
See the problem??
We fought a war with the British over things like this...being FORCED to do things that aren't neccesary and aren't right.
Tends to peeve people of good consceince off. Tends to cause insurrection. Tends to cause...Tea Parties.
So I appreciate people like Beck...he warns us when Congress/President/Courts are doing something exceptionally STUPID.

If, for example, you (and I mean a generic you, not necessarily any particular person in this thread) want the gun in case someone breaks into their home, that is the wrong reason. In this situation, many people with a gun will suddenly think they are Harry Callahan or Rambo, and decide to give the criminal what for. What they don't take into account is that if the criminal also has a gun, the criminal is likely better at using it. In this scenario, the things in your house aren't important. Your family and yourself are important, and you should be doing whatever you can to reduce the amount of danger to them. Unfortunately, going out to do battle with the criminals greatly increases that danger.
You MUST be Canadian. It's been my experience that most crooks adopt the "Spray & Pray" method of gunfighting. They aren't very accurate & definitly not very well trained in firearms use...even when shooting at each other. The homeowner has a DISTINCT advantage in knowing their own home...and how to defend it with a weapon they've practiced with.
Here in Florida we have what is known as the "Stand Your Ground" law...which basically means that ANYWHERE you are attacked or accosted, you may reply with deadly force...it's caused a definitive drop in our crime rates over the last ten years. We also have Concealed Carry permits, which folks take a class & are instructed on how to properly use their guns to drop a bad guy in his tracks. We also have the IDPA & IPSC, which each train people monthly at our ranges to defend themselves & their families against attackers, whether on the streets or in their homes. We have some of the most highly trained civilians in the world...many of whom are retired military and were already proficient in firearms use before looking at home defense. Finally, we have 10-20-LIFE, which punishes those who use guns during the commission of a crime with manditory minimum sentences, 10 for Having a gun during a crime, 20 for Firing it, even if it doesn't hit anyone, and LIFE if a bullet strikes anyone, even if it doesn't kill them. And we are the 3rd highest user of the Death Penalty for those who kill.
Intelligent laws & well-trained citizsens make for less crooks...one way or the other. Attrition works.
----
On another note, guns are used for MORE than just home defense, they're also used to keep predatory animals at bay.
(CNN) -- A rising Canadian folk singer was killed by coyotes this week in a national park in Nova Scotia, a park spokesman said Thursday.
Taylor Mitchell, 19, was at the beginning of the Skyline Trail in Cape Breton Highlands National Park on Tuesday afternoon when she was attacked, according to Chip Bird, the Parks Canada field unit superintendent for Cape Breton.
Bird said hikers saw the coyotes attacking Mitchell and called 911. She was airlifted to a hospital in Halifax, where she died about 12 hours later, he said.
If Canucks were allowed to carry pistols, that young lady would likely be alive & healthy. Of course, realizing that the Wilderness is WILD might have also helped, she should have been hiking in a GROUP with at least one big guy & a shilelagh ;)
Thinking nature is like Disney is often a fatal error...predators WILL kill you, given a chance, because humans are slow and easy prey...when unarmed.

^^^ yep, guardsmen and cops took weapons from citizens who were only interested in protecting themselves from the same scumbags who were shooting at the rescue helicopters & looting during Katrina's aftermath.
That's all good though...as our Florida firetrucks were cutting a way thru 1-10 westbound...when we found out that they were shooting at the helo's & rescue personell, we stayed in Mississippi to help there. As far as we were concerned, NO could go to Hades. Besides, the destruction in Mississippi was more than enough to keep us busy for quite awhile. Lord knows they appreciated us.
If you've ever lived in a bad neighborhood and wondered why ambulances & fire takes so long to get there...shooting at cops is one thing...shoot at rescue personnel and you get Severely Delayed Response for at least a year, if it happens twice...forget about seeing a fast response for the next decade...like, we go get a burger & a bulletproof vest before even thinking about heading that way.
Then we sit OUTSIDE the neighborhood and wait for police to clear the scene before entering...and by that time the "Golden Hour" is usually half up.
Think I'm kidding?? Ride along with an FD/ambulance in a bad area in any decent-sized city. Cops go first, rescue only approach once it's SAFE...in some extreme cases, more than an hour will pass.

The Israeli's train and arm thier teachers to protect their students...why do we not do the same here?? We have far more problems with school shootings than they do.
Texas recently decided to allow Teachers to Carry Weapons as long as they pass the licensing course & a special School Defense course.
Florida and other states are considering following Texas' lead on the issue.
CCW licensees in many states who go to college are suing the collges and states to allow their 2nd amendment rights to no longer be violated.
It ain't the licensees that are a problem...it's the lunatics and scumbags like the Columbine shooters who need to be dealt with in a Permanent Manner.
A lot more teachers are realizing that "Gun-Free Zone" means...
HEY, WE ARE UNARMED, COME AND KILL US!!!
Suspect in Iowa coach's death was in police custody days earlier.
NEW: Police say they weren't notified suspect was released from hospital
Coach Ed Thomas has died after being shot inside a school considered to be a "Gun-Free Zone"

Utah has allowed open and concealed carry in schools for over five years now.
Anybody ever hear of a school shooting in Utah? NOPE.
And as far as Gun Free Schools go...
"Suspect in Iowa coach's death was in police custody days earlier.
NEW: Mark Becker, who faces murder charges, had "recent contact" with police.
Coach Ed Thomas has died after being shot inside a school considered a "Gun-Free Zone"."
Yeah, we see how well all that works...
HEY, WE DON'T HAVE GUNS TO PROTECT OURSELVES AT SCHOOL, COME AND KILL US!!!
And you wonder why Texas just passed a law to allow Teachers to Carry Concealed as long as they get a permit...it's in the works in Florida and several other states as well.

ADHD AND RELASHONSHIPS
Posted:
9/20/2009 1:07:49 AM
It's not JUST a disorder. It has a defineable cause. It has a variety of treatments.
It also is often misdiagnosed because doctors quite often don't bother to get the proper tests done and just slap a label on someone, when they really need to be treated for OTHER psychiactric problems...and sometimes they need Psych as well as ADD/ADHD treatments. Ob/Comp & Bi-polar issues are often present in add/adhd patients.
I've been dealing with it since before they had a NAME for it. I've tried a wide variety of drugs & holistic treatments, along with mental conditioning. Ritain made me feel like a freeking Zombie...so it's just NOT an option. Haldol sure wasn't an option either. I didn't like feeling like my head was on a post...LOL
Getting rid of the sugars & processed foods ALONE makes a huge difference. Remember that it is a chemical reaction...everything you EAT or DRINK causes chemical reactions all over your body, including your brain. Note that we with ADHD tend to react to sugar like a normal person reacts to alcohol...it causes changes in our brain's chemistry which are problematic, to say the least.
Finding activities that require Consistancy..(like Martial Arts & Archery) are VERY helpful. The more stability & consistancy in your life, the BETTER!
I will also admit to a certain side benefit...if you also practice Keegle Exercises, you will find certain physical abilities will be Greatly Enhanced

Actually, they should all sue the heck out of her.
It's going to cost MONEY to get all those arrests expunged.
And even then, they're still going to be stuck with folks who remember only the arrest.
It won't leave them until years from now.
She oughta have to pay for ALL legal expenses for the whole thing, INCLUDING the amount of time the cops spent investigating it & the DA's spent on it.

Is your city bicycle friendly?
Posted:
9/18/2009 11:54:24 PM
I watch a lot of cyclists on the road from my front porch...I've got a view of several miles :)
Most of them wouldn't know road rules if they bit 'em on the butt.
Even when there are "bike lanes", half the morons don't use 'em.
Those who ride on the road swerve all over the place, don't have lights at night, and really should consider some rear-view mirrors (they DO have 'em, ya know).
The smartest ones...ride on the sidewalk and avoid vehicle traffic altogether. Most of the bicycle laws were written back in the late 1800's earl 1900's...and have failed to change much...or recognize that since the 1960's...Bikes do not belong on the road with the much faster cars/trucks/motorcycles. Not to mention the fact that there are a LOT more cars on the road nowadays.
If they won't let folks ride a 49cc minibike on the road because it's not fast enough, they dang sure shouldn't let a bicycle on the road. Put 'em on the sidewalk where they belong...with the joggers & walkers. Just make 'em all use a Bell or Horn to warn walkers & joggers that they're coming.
And put some dang lights on the bike if you are gonna ride at night!!!!
Unless you just WANT to be a freeking speedbump!!!

Taxing junk food!!!
Posted:

I'd rather them tax junk food than FORCE everyone to have health-care insurance or get fined thousands of dollars.
If you make less than $10 an hour, current health insurance options are extremely expensive. It's hard enough to make your Car insurance, home insurance, and they now want to FORCE you to have EXPENSIVE Health Insurance??
If they're NOT going to make a Low-Cost gov't option...it's time to Tar & Feather some idiot politicians.
I'm retired Military...the VA sucks, but at least it's a good option compared to gov't forced high-cost insurance.

In the UK, they're trying to OUTLAW POINTY KITCHEN KNIVES!
I kid you not.
Since they've outlawwed most guns, knife crime went WAY up...so they've actually introduced legislation to get rid of pointy kitchen knives.
Hitler woulda LOVED these clowns...
For some reason the lawmakers of Britain want everyone disarmed...or at least, all Lawful Citizens disarmed. That should seriously worry anyone with at least half an decalitre of sanity.
I guess they really want to make it Easy for the criminal element to take over?? Or for that matter, anyone who gets froggy...Maybe Ireland will launch an invasion to take back Northern Ireland??

One thing I wish ALL movies would cut...the barf scenes.
Used to be someone would lean over something & make noise...we all got the point.
We definitely don't need the "Realism" that masquerades as art. No need to beat a dead horse.
Plus, it had the additional effect of running about 10% of the audience OUT of the theatre, not to return. I'll bet they're not out there giving glowing reviews of the movie.
I enjoyed the vast majority of the movie, but the barf scene, was enough for me NOT to recommend it to anyone. It cast a pall over the rest of what was a well-written movie :)

Can White Americans REALLY judge what is racist and what is not?
Posted:

Lot of folks forget that in the 1800's to early 1930's, the Irish were the most downtrodden race in America.
Does the phrase, "Ten Irish aren't worth one slave?" ring any bells??
Oh, yeah. We know.
But I will say this, we Irish took our hard-working characteristics and made SOMETHING out of ourselves.
We became the BACKBONE on which America GREW.
I really don't see the same thing happening with many Dazzling Young Urbanites these days...
CHANGE has not occured...I still see the same old pimps & pushers on the streetcorners.
So, you want racism to end?? SHOW SOME STONES!! Do something besides CRACK!!

I saw way too many kids who had No Clue what sea life was like...some ended up getting Medical Discharges for Mental Conditions...really sad.
Go AF or Army. You'll have WAY more fun :)
I did a short tour as an AE in the Navy, then pulled an inter-service transfer to get into the Army, where I was MUCH happier. Fewer sharks, too ;)

Abortion Doctor Finially Killed...
Posted:
8/23/2009 4:34:11 PM
At this point, I think everyone knows about the preditory nature of the average Catholic Priests vs young boys over the last 80 years. Used to be a vow of chastity MEANT something.
At least one has a chance for a useful & productive life...where with abortion, there is ZERO chance for life. With all the families on waiting lists for a healthy (or even relatively healthy) baby currently...
Ah well, if not adoption, then at least pass the fetus on to scientists who can do something useful with the stem cells instead of tossing the dead baby parts into a medical waste bag. Or even set them up as Organ Donors...LOTS of people could benefit through the use of baby organs.
Or even, for those children who don't get adopted by age 5, use them as organ donors. There is a nifty book on the subject that I can't remember the name of, they used non-adopted children & criminals as manditory organ donors...converted CUBA into a convalescent island for them...and made sure the sharks were well baited to prevent swimmers.
It's a reasonable thing to do, especially with criminals...and since the children could have just as well been aborted, its not really a loss. At least their lives would have meaning by saving other sick/injured people.

The average CCW licensee in Florida tends to be a better shot & more learned on Florida gun laws than the average LEO. Especially those who are members of IDPA & IPSC target shooting clubs.
I took the time to order a CCW badge & ID holder that fits on my belt when carrying concealed...it saves one all kinds of grief when you can simply hand your badge & license over to any questioning LEO's. Most of them know how good the course is...and also know that Florida CCW licensees are trained far better than the National average. So far, incidents with Florida CCW licensees have been above board since the program took effect...having knowledge of the specific laws tends to make one careful of how one approaches any possible firing solutions.
I also think the level of training that a person recieves in firearms should quite simply....be left up to themselves. Gov't screws up a LOT of things by getting involved. In fact, these folks that want Gov't health care should seriously look at how fawked up the VA is...if there's one thing NOBODY wants, it's Civilian Gov't intervention.
While I've been well trained, first by Family, then by Boy Scouts, then by the Military, and finally by the state of Florida (not even counting all the shooting sports I do like SASS, IDPA, IPSC & Appleseed)...but I honestly don't suggest that any of it ever be Manditory EXCEPT in the pursuit of a CCW license or job in Law Enforcement/Military.

Do call centre workers feel they're under the thumb of Nazi dictators?

It isn't just the problem with time...
Example, there's several large phone centers near me and I get to hear a LOT of stuff about how clusterfoobarred the systems are...if it were fair & balanced there would be total equity...but it's not even close. For the lousy pay...I wouldn't put up with it.
Horrible rules and even worse managers. The managers/supervisors ignore any time issues from their favorites and bend the rules to get rid of those that are not. Managers doing schedule changes without informing the person of it, then firing them for no-show.
I could go on for hours about the silly things that call centers require that no normal corporation would even think of doing...or would even dare to try. Even BANKS don't hammer their people like call centers do.
Best thing to do, don't EVER work for a call center. Let them farm it all out to third world countries...they don't mind being micromanaged down to the last fart.

It did NOT change Ted Bundy...he refused to name all his victims & where he buried them even when asked just prior to being led to the death chamber. He intentionally let families suffer. Death was too good for him, they should have tortured him until he gave up all information of what he had done, and to whom, until he was dead.
Much to be said for Drawing & Quartering...while medieval, it was quite effective.
We should go back to the simpler ways of our frontier days...hanging to follow sentencing within 48 hours...solves the whole recidivism thing completely...not to mention being a VERY good deterrent.

Abortion Doctor Finially Killed...

In days gone by, if one had a baby that was deformed or otherwise not viable for long-term survival, they would simply abandon it to Nature and let the wolves/bears/cougars handle the issue. It still happens today in 3rd world countries...might as well feed the animals, eh?
Today, one can quite simply hand the child over to a nurse at a hospital and walk out.
There are better options than aborting/killing a baby at 7-8-9 months.

Dunblaine occured because the UK cops & courts couldn't seem to lock up a child molester & keep him locked up. Lousy investigation tactics contributed to that one. Tell me, has investigation of child molestation cases improved in the UK since then??
Brits might have less of a chance of getting shot by a gun, but you definitely have a higher chance of being knifed or blown up by high explosives...the Brits don't seem to have much of a handle on that yet. They just barely seem to have the IRA under wraps and then the Radical Muslims come in and start exploding bombs in their place...
Add to that that England is an Island the approximate size of New York State...with about the same population. It's no wonder that the crime rates between the two are fairly close, but comparing a tiny little island country with the USA is hardly possible. it's like comparing Pitcairn Island to Ireland. Not really relevant.
One out of the four planes didn't hit it's target on 9/11. That one crashed into a field because the people on board heroically fought with the terrorists and prevented them from striking any more of our national treasures. On that flight...there were enough Real Men and less sheeple.
Be Prepared. Contemplate SHTF situations and have a plan for survival.
Know your escape routes. Know how to fight in close quarters and long-range.
Vote for a fast track for the death penalty...it cuts down on recidivism.
Try not to live in big cities and avoid them like the plague...too many idiots and not enough bullets.

I was contemplating something today.
I notice that some people have definitive tendancies towards being either warriors or pacifists. It also strikes me that it is the warrior "caste" (for lack of a better word) in the US that makes it possible for the pacifists to proliferate here. In places like Burma, the pacifists are known as Victims.
It's also kind of funny that the pacifists want to get rid of guns...but that would take away the tool that the warriors use to practice with before going to war with those who would rather us be unarmed & untrained so that they can make Victims out of the pacifists.
A great example of that is the Mexican Drug Gangs that are so prevalent in the southern US now...they really don't care what laws are passed, they are still going to do their biz until the Fence is Up, Electrified & the Southern Border is closed forever...but until then, they will rape, rob, kidnapp, kill, and generally be a huge pain in the rump of the US until they are wiped out...but it sure won't be pacifists that do it...it will take Warriors...and they will have to be almost as bloodthirsty as the Mexican Drug Gangs. We will need more cops to "Shoot to Kill" to remove the members of the gangs permanently from the landscape. But the Pacifists...will decry this even as they themselves are being robbed, raped, and even kidnapped & killed...
Odd world, yes?
Peace can only be maintained if there is a stronger firepower exerting a reason for people to be peaceful.

Hypothetical dilemma for Vegans/PETA...
Posted:

While I do try to make the most out of each animal I strategically euthanize while hunting, instead of throwing away the parts I don't want...I feed my dogs with what I do not care for.
And Coyote meat is NOT tasty...no matter how you prepare it...bleah.
So the doggies get the 'Yote after it's been properly prepared for them.
If for no other reason than feeding our cats & dogs...factory farms will exist for many centuries to come. Hrm, but the PETA folks didn't think about THAT, did they??

"Pacifism is a good way...but it's incredibly dangerous, violent thrill-seekers like me that make pacifism possible." Rip Haywire.
Frankly, I think we oughta let the gang-bangers & the liberals get together...either the liberals will make pacifists out of the gang-bangers,
or we'll simply have WAY less liberals.
Either way...good deal

72 year old Great-grandma Tasered by Texas Cop...

I gotta say this is absolutely untrue, having been patrolling during that time period. Vicarious liability laws were just as effective back then as they are now. So were suspensions, charges of overbearing conduct, internal affairs investigations and civil suits. But we didn't go around MACEing everyone who mouthed off. You only subdued someone who got physical and combative, and there were plenty enough of them around back then.
You ain't from the South.
Basically, if someone brought suit against the cops for smacking them around, folks pretty much dismissed them as "deserving it", especially if they were drunk & had a criminal record. It's a whole different world down here. Liberalism pretty much existed ONLY around the larger cities like Atlanta & Montgomery.
Civil suits in rural areas..rare. Rural areas...they still give a little billy club on occasion. Only now it's called Maglight Restraints
Heck, it's not been all that long since the last public lynching in Mobile, AL.
It's a different world down here. There's still a lot of the "Good Ole Boy" system in place. It's changing, but slowly.
The downside of liberal change...more people act like bungholes, not only to cops, but to everyone. Politeness is slowly leaving the South. Southern Hospitality...is getting more rare. That in itself is a sad state of affairs.
Too bad we Americans can't be more like Canadians in the politeness aspect.

Circumcised vs Un-Circumcised...

It's a crock.
All those extra nerve endings in the foreskin give a LOT of extra pleasure. No way around it.
Those who have been circumcised will NEVER know the pleasure they are missing out on.
But hey, you can do the same thing with females after they're "ragged out" and their "lower lips" look like wings. I can only imagine that they'd LOVE to loose a goodly percentage of the feeling they get, just to look more asthetically perfect, right??

Don't forget the hyper-attentiveness when it's something they enjoy.
Get an ADHD kid interested in Speed-Reading...watch them go thru several large books a day.
Anyone who sez "ADHD doesn't exist", probably thinks Big Government is only here to help...

Jefferson made it quite clear that the right of the People to have & bear arms was important to keeping government from getting out of control...
As it is now...the US Government is completely out of control and is a giant beaureacratic monster. The US Gov't is no longer a Democratic Republic, it is a Beauracracy.
It's the biggest clusterfoobar ever known to mankind. And it's OURS!!!

Tobacco use by teens in the US has been significantly and steadily declining since the early 90's. This is nothing more than a 'smoke screen' to further nationalize a private industry.
Horsehockey!! Everywhere I go I see teens lighting up in the smoking areas...they actualy outnumber the old farts!! .
I can't wait until smoking anytime/anywhere/anything is totally illegal!! :D

It ain't like Bill Clinton didn't set the pace on it!!!
He didn't quit, Sanford shouldn't either!!
And I can understand why Fox goofed on the R/D bit...for decades it was always D's that got busted for it...after Clinton got away with it, the R's decided they could too!!
