Would you ever juice?

I have cycled in the past and was well aware of possible side effects and what measures to reduce those side effects and I loved my first cycle.
I would definitely suggest one who is considering pertaking in performance enhancing drugs to do diligent research before diving in. Yes there are side effects as with any drug so steroids are no different but they are not as dangerous as many in the media and ill informed individuals try to claim. Steroids have existed for almost 80 years now and have very legitimate medical purposes in both men and women.
Many were developed to help heal not harm.

Boyfriend continues to get on POF behind my back??
Posted:
7/8/2009 3:45:37 PM
First of all this doesn't surprise me. I am sure there are a lot more on POF that are in relationships and still frequent the site. But does someone logging onto POF regularly makes them worst then someone that logs and frequents other well known social networking sites?
I am amazed how people are upset if an boyfriend/girlfriend, husband/wife logs onto POF but are ok with them logging onto facebook, my space and other well known social sites. As if they can't cheat on there as well.
Not everyone on POF is looking for love. Some are looking for just sex, some are looking for friends, some are looking for casual relationships and others are looking for serious relationships.
I definitely can't see how one can be suspicious of their significant other roaming a site that they have an account with as well, have their profile page private and yet will admonish the other for doing the same.

What are your deal breakers
Posted:
7/8/2009 3:38:43 PM
For me it is not being prejudice. I am not one of those that don't feel you have to the right to believe what you wish but when it comes to you believing you are superior to another because of your race, your family background, economic status and others then that is when I can't stand it.
Oh and women with diva'ish attitudes. Absolute deal breakers.
Funk I can excuse atleast once because many variables can be attributed to why you may have funky breath, underarms or even cooch. But if it is a consistent everyday problem then yes something has to give and I am giving you the heeve ho.

WTF: Microsoft Getting Desperate??
Posted:

Does seems like the Microsoft has some unusualy marketing practices but for the bad press they are getting as of late they are making some good strides as well.
I love the Bing search engine. Can't wait for the Zune HD and seriously considering getting an Xbox360 now with all the Xbox Live integration like Last FM, Facebook, Twitter and Sky news and can't wait for the Windows 7. Maybe the first Windows operation system I have bought in the long time (others I pirated).

New BIOS Virus That Withstands HDD Wipes
Posted:
6/10/2009 3:47:46 PM
I wonder how "backing up your OS partition image would be effective in combatting or fixing the issue of your BIOS or CMOS once infected.
And from reading the article it appears that this type of malware does not need to initially have administration control to do its damage but I could be wrong.
And yes taking many steps can greatly reduce your chances of getting infected but as long as you are connected to the web, download certain files or visit certain sites then you are still pretty vulnerable even if you maybe less vulnerable then some others are.
I am actually surprised their are more malware embedded in Flash videos sites and people aren't getting infected that way.

Since you like to lift weights you could incorporate high rep circuit training as a way to get you into cardio. You can also break up your cardio in say a 30minute session. So you could do the treadmill for 15 minutes, Cardio Kickboxing for 15 minutes or break it up however you like to get you more interested and motivated.

Lack of motivation
Posted:
5/11/2009 7:05:04 AM
Well many of us can't be like mr. Ironman333. Many of us are not trying to be bodybuilders or living that lifestyle so many of us are not or can't get up at 3:30 am to do 50 minutes of cardio, then work, then come home take care of bills and other duties, go back to the gym for another hour of cardio.
So for me the way I plan to motivate myself is create a blog and show my progress. It is a way I can connect with others, get advice from those going through some of the same things I am going through and progress with community.
If any of you are interested you can follow me and my progress at

Definitely agree with mrimprovement about VLC. It is the best media player out there. Not very fancy as far as UI but it does what it needs to. You can even set it up to stream videos to your TV if you have the right set up.
I didn't like songbird. Couldn't get it to work with my Ipod Nano for some reason no matter what I tried.
I like Studio64. I just got into it. It is a app similar to Pro Tools but it is free ofcourse.
Auslogic Disk Defrag is a great free program to defrag computer. No trial b.s.

Ever asked your partner to keep it down ?
Posted:

It depends on the situation ofcourse and where you are doing the "do". I had an ex that I loved how loud she was. I mean absolutely loved it. She was such a turn on and still kinda miss that. But when we first started we would be at her parents house and I would have to almost choke her to keep her quiet.
So yeah I would assume it would depend on where you are doing the do. If you are in an apartment complex where the walls are paper thin then maybe you don't want your boyfriend or girlfriend screaming soo lound like that.

I also like Ad-aware and Spybot but I have had Spyware Terminator and A-squared anti-spyware find malware that the two previous named spyware suite didn't find.
I once installed a program called "Free Spyware-Hunter" and didn't know it was a malicious program. I scanned my computer with AVG and nothing came up. I scanned with
Ad-aware SE..... nothing. Another day I scanned with Spybot and I got a warning that my windows firewall and security center was turned off.... but nothing else.
I then scanned with A-squared and got a warning about Spyware Hunter that I had installed. Now you have to realize that I downloaded Spyware Hunter after it was recommended and featured on one of my favorite site.... Afterdawn.com. It was even featured on Filehippo. Both of these sites usually never host or link to infected programs.
So I thought this was a false positive. I scanned with Spyware Terminator and Super Anti-Spyware it showed up in Spyware Terminator as infected but not in the Super Anti-Spyware. So I googled Spyware Hunter and low and behold I see countless post about how bad this program is. How if you scan with Spyware-Hunter you will get popups saying your computer is infected but when you try to remove infected files, you will get a warning saying that you have to buy another program to remove it and that you can't access your computer other then logging onto the web to pay for this program.
It was in affect a malware pretending to be a spyware detector/remover. So that is why I am so heavy on A-squared and Spyware Terminator.

Fat friends

Diets are not an multi-billion dollar rip off. Diet is an extremely important element in losing weight. Many experts think it is more important then exercise.
If you are going to consider a detox then definitely look into EDTA chelation to help clear out some of your arteries and remove heavy metals in your body as well. Many believe this will help your body shed more fat after purging toxic chemicals, metals and plaque in the arteries.
Some think it is just a load of quack but many people really believe in it as well though. So do your research and make up your own mind.
Red Rice wine with Co-enzyme Q10 is another supplement some say is effective in naturally lowering LDL cholesterol and increasing HDL cholesterol

open/dating/polyamory relationships
Posted:

I agree with MuskokanMan
Whatever floats your boat. When you an adult you can choose what type of relationship you partake in as long as you are honest with the other participant of the relationship and they agree with the arrangement.
Also if the person is initially ok with an open relationship relealize that you or the other person feelings could change. They may develop a deeper attachment and feelings for you and don't wish to continue the "open relationship".
Jealousy could arise in such a relationship as well. To me to have an successful "open" relationship, you have to work harder and put a lot into it to make it work for you.
I don't know from experience but I assume that would be the case.

What do you think about cougars?
Posted:

I have had my share of cougar experiences. Actually not that long ago but the term Cougar was just getting started and wasn't used a whole lot.
Both times I actually pursued them and the experience was mixed. The first one was really fun and enjoyable and I wanted more opportunities with her but unfortunately she was married and felt bad afterwards.
The second one could have been so much better but wasn't very enjoyable at all. I definitely love cougars. They are extremely confident, know what they want and know there bodies and all this makes them incredibly sexual beings.

Should there be a cutoff age for playing video games?
Posted:
12/11/2008 8:35:32 AM
To me it is just a perception that if you play video games after a certain age then you are immature or have other underlying issues.
I say that is complete and utter hogwash.
Too me that is like saying that only men and boys play video games. Women play video games as well and more would if society encouraged girls to get into gaming of any kind whether it be a video game or a board game such as chess.
I mean video games were created by adults. In the beginning adults played video games. I mean DOD computer workers created a rudimentary pong game and they were adults.
I mean the consoles and games are all created mostly by adults and some are even in their 40's and 50's.
I remember I had a conversation with an ex a few years ago about cartoons. I am a big Looney Tunes, Sponge Bob, Popeye, Tom and Jerry, Pink Panter, Inuyasha,
Dragon Ball Z, Cartoon Network, Fairly Odd parents, Adult Swim, Family Guy and other cartoon fan.
She was asking me why do I always watch programming for children? I responded by saying: "I bet more adults watch these programmings then you realize". And I told her that all cartoons are drawn, produced, directed and voiced by adults. Many children that grew up watching cartoons and become adults are still going too like animated programming.
That is why Adult Swim, Family Guy, The Simpsons is so popular. So why suggest that only people at certain ages should play video games or watch cartoons.

I don't know why but what you said sounds like really good advice. It is so simple it is brilliant. I am sure some will not agree with it but it is some good advice.
Kinda like saying "You already did it so why beat yourself over it. Laugh about it and move on and don't let it control your life or ruin your relationship".

I will never claim to be an expert on swapping. You have those in the lifestyle that will defend it fiercely and state that it is a great tool or act for improving intimacy and what not.
Personally I think anything is ok if two consenting adults commit the act with both being well aware and accepting of the act and none of the acts are life or heath threatening. Damn there was a lot of "or" in that previous sentence.
But I also think if you make such a choice that you have to deal with whatever occurs afterwards. It could seem find during and even afterwards. You could feel ok about it for months and then something could arise where you may feel you made a mistake or ashamed.
I guess it just depends. I guess only "swingers" can give you better advice because if I were to swap per say, I don't think I could do it with people I am very familiar with and see on a regular basis.

Do you think having a bf/gf makes you more attractive?
Posted:

I never really discussed this particular topic but I always felt I got more attention when I was in a serious relationship then when I wasn't. I mean sometimes the ratio for attention was ridiculously high when I was involved compared to when I wasn't involved.
What I found even more strange is that I got more attention and flirtation from the opposite sex even when I didn't have my significant other with me at the time or when there was no way a stranger could determine if I was involved or not.

In the states the only one I know of that is decent is Verizon in a select few markets with their Wi-Fi Max just rolling out and I think that AT&T supposedly offers free hotspots for those with certain digital subscriber lines but I am not totally sure.
If you have a laptob, get a good wi-fi card and amplifier and a good wifi sniffing program and do a google search for a few free hotspots in your area. Especially if you live in a large metropolitan area you will be surprised how man good signal strength unprotected access points you can find.

Vitamins and suppliments:
Posted:

I definitely agree with a lot of Monkey1973 choices.
I definitely would get a good EFA such as a good Flax Seed oil. I love Alpha Lipioc Acid and I would suggest that taken even when you are not working out. One of the best and most powerful antioxidants out there and can help with diet since it has some insulin mimicking properties.
I love Alpha Lipioc Acid but if you can afford it then get RA-ALA. Definitely would suggest a good Vitamin B complex and even vitamin 12 injections. I know I am.
A good time released multi-vitamin is important as well. Also Whey protein since getting enough protein through your diet can be very hard at times. Other then that everything else is your choice to see if it will be effective.

Apple products worth their high price?
Posted:
10/12/2008 8:25:42 PM
Personally I don't think that Apple products overall are worth the high prices.
Many of Apple products are great looking and very easy too use and for some reasons Apple's competitors can't seem to match it in appearance and ease of use. I still haven't seen a large LCD high definition that is as pretty and wonderful looking like the Apple 30incher.
But with that said I still don't think the price is warranted. I mean to pay $1,799 for a Apple M9179LL/A Silver 30" 14ms Widescreen WUXGA Mac Display when I can get a Samsung, HP, Gateway or NEC 30inch monitor for cheaper and it has quicker response time.
Or a desktop pro Mac Quad core for almost $2800 at some places when I could build me an Windows or Linux equivalent and save almost $1500. And that is with 2 4850 GPU's, an 800watt PSU with 4x6+2 gpu pins, 2.83 12mb cace Quad core 45nm proc, 1tb harddrive, 4 gigs of memory and 2-22x DVD burners.
There are so many Personal media players that are cheaper then the Ipod touchs and video Ipods out there with more options. Maybe they will not be as pretty but they will have more options, support more formats and have a much larger screen then the Ipod's touch and video Ipods of the world.
So no I wouldn't pay the premium prices that apple charge and with the Androids coming out I am strongly considering those over the Iphones.

CD and DVD drivers do not work... HELP!
Posted:
8/18/2008 11:14:11 AM
Here is another helpful tip
This is how I reset DMA on windows xp pro. But first check and make sure it's required. Open control panel/system/hardware/device manager/IDE ATA ATAPI controllers.
Getting back to DMA mode in Windows XP
CD-ROM and DVD-ROM drives can revert to using PIO mode, despite being set to use “DMA if Available.” Here’s how to make Windows XP redetect the DMA capabilities of the drives.
This behaviour occurs with the following conditions:
* Windows XP is the operating system
* A CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive, which is known to support DMA mode now works only in PIO mode.
* The drive controller is set to use “DMA if available” but reports to be only in PIO mode.
Following is the mechanism that has worked for me, please try it at your own risk, it involves hacking the registry:
1. Open RegEdit
2. Find the following KEY:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\ Class\{4D36E96A-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\000x
3. The last four digits will be 0000, 0001, 0002, 0003, and so on.
4. Under each key, delete all occurences of the following values:
MasterIdDataChecksum
SlaveIdDataChecksum
5. Reboot the computer. Windows will now redetect DMA settings.

CD and DVD drivers do not work... HELP!
Posted:
8/18/2008 11:13:30 AM
If you have Nero burning rom then open up Nero and go to where you see "Nero Tool Kit" then click on "Nero Info Drive". When that comes up you want to look for Configuration.
Then you want look for your drives to see if they the 'DMA' says "ON"
You want to make sure it doesn't say PIO or DMA off on your drives.
If the DMA says "off" it is an easy fix. Start on your desktop then go to Control Panel. Then go to where it says "Performance and Maintenance. Then to "System"
Once in there click on Hardware then Device Manager. Look for where you see "CD/DVD drives" click on that. Search for your drive then click on it.
First then is to go to the General section and see if your drive is "enabled". If not then enable it. Then go to "driver". Uninstall driver.
Don't worry this won't harm your drive. Then restart your computer. After this your Drive DMA should be on and it XP will automatically install the drivers for that drive.
Also Nero Info Tools is good to test and see if your drive is suffering other issues too. You can even test the quality of a particular disk with Nero.

Personally this is why I think people shouldn't list all their personal info when creating personal or social networking profiles. If they person wish to know more you can tell them more via your personal email, messaging them here or what not.
Plus I think you should have a different profile name for every forum or personals sites you sign up with to limit any potential tracking of your posts.

I personally love CCleaner. A good program to clean up some registry junk left over by programs that you uninstall. Great program to uninstall programs as well and will show a lot more items on your computer then you will see in XP default uninstall in the control panel.
I think My811.toolbar is malware. If it identifies it as possible malware then just allow it to quarantine it and remove it from your harddrive and registries.

2012 pole shift
Posted:
6/26/2008 6:04:29 PM
Man I don't know about this 2012 thing. It does seem like it is the internet phenomenon right about now.
I have heard so many things that supposedly is going to happen in 2012 so it is hard to know what to believe. I heard about the polar shifts where the south pole and north pole will begin to reverse. I heard about an ice age occurring because their hasn't been any sunspots seen on the sun for like 2 years and it is in some 6 year cycle that will begin a huge influx in 2012 and this will cause the earth temperatures to drop.
Then you have this whole Planet X thing going around as well that is supposedly going to pull the earth apart and we will meet our creators. Then the recent rumor I hear is that all these so-called alien UFO's that have been reported for over 60 years were not space crafts but some time of advanced space probes or satellites to gather information about earth and that their will be a large space alien invasion in 2012.
I also hear that that is when world war 3 will occur because of the Bush administration. Basically that the Bush administration are going to suspend elections this year due to a major terrorist attacks in the USA and they will hold onto power for another 4 years, in which that is when war world 3 will begin.
Who knows.

If Not To Be Happy... What's The Point In All The Hard Work?

Well I think today that you will get a bunch of different advice on what you should do to lose weight and keep it off.
Just listen to the so called experts on many weightloss related shows. Each personal trainer, nutritionist and weight loss expert will give you something different. That is why their is so many dieting fads and more will continue to come out. I mean for god sakes you have people claiming they lost a good deal of weight on a modified "wii game console" exercise program.
I think the point is that with so many different people in the world and so many different ways that people have gotten to the weight they are now, that is why their is no one way fits all for everyone.
I mean so people have legitimate medical reasons for their weight gains, others have food addictions, some have slow metabolisms or other hormonal imbalances, some have nutritional imbalances, others have are not pushing themselves physically enough or even have enviromental reasons for why they are overweight. So there is no one way fits all for everyone.

Is it prostitution when...
Posted:

Well like a lot of definitions in today world, I am sure for many prostitution has evolved. The definition of prostitution is: the act or practice of engaging in promiscuous sexual relations especially for money. The old term for prostitution was sexual intercourse for money.
So everyone definition is different. Personally I don't think that it was prostitution. I mean I read one person response that if you engage in any sexual activity for money then that is prostitution. So in their opinion that would include phone sex, webcame sex, online sex and many other forms of sex.
I guess if I pay someone to let me see their feet and I get turned off because I have a feet fetish and I pay them for that then they just performed a prostitute act right?
The point is do you feel that you did something wrong? Can your receive the money and not have it dwell on your conscience then what is the problem and why today do we care so much what others think anyway?

Steroids and their impact on sports
Posted:

I definitely wish the media and the general public would be more educated on the subject. Everyone feels that taking steroids is cheating but almost every top level athlete takes cortisone. That is the biggest steroid advantage in sports and no one even blinks an eye. It helps athletes get on the field quicker, recover quicker and perform at levels that they normally wouldn't be able too without cortisone injections.
Isn't that the same thing people complain about with steroids? Oh and it is a steroid as well.
Steroids get such a bad rap but if you are a meat eater you are consuming steroids all the time did you know that? Did you know that beef are injected with a very anabolic steroid named "Trenbolone".
Many race horses are injected with winstrol, trenbolone, methandrostenolone, clenbuterol and other hormones so you can be entertained at their major races such as the Kentucky Derby and no one evens bat an eye.

S-drol

I never said that Sdrol can't be taken along but seriously how much gains do you truly think you are going to make in 2 weeks time? How much gains you believe you will make in four weeks?
If you believe you can take S-drol by itself for two weeks a make even moderate lean mass gains then you obviously know very little about S-drol, you know very little about AAS or prohormones and you know very little about cycling.
I definitely suggest you join some sites for research on the subject such as bodybuilding4life, anabolicminds and other sites.

Definitely don't have to get rid of Ubuntu. You can either have two seperate partitions or you could use a program like VMware to have as many OS programs as you one one one or multiple harddrives.

I don't know anything about Gymnastics but I wouldn't doubt that there are adult classes popping up everywhere. Matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprised if some form of Gymnastics training will be the next fitness craze. Now mind you it won't be for everyone but I wouldn't be surprise it will take off like how Pilates did.

Male- pattern baldness in females
Posted:
6/18/2008 12:35:04 AM
Hairloss in women can be caused by many factors. Believe it or not i could be due to certain B-Vitamin deficiencies, Iron Deficiencies(especially if you have heavy cycles), Thyroid issues like another member stated. Also as women mature, women have more circulating DHT since women of menopausal stages ovaries stop producing oestrogens and oestradiols and the circulating estrogens your body does make is from aromatase enzymes.
This means it is produced from male androgens and other hormones. If you have a higher circulating adrogen levels then normal then I would suggest using a topical treatment such as 5% Spironolactone to reduce the DHT levels in the scalp. DHT is one of the causes of Male Pattern Baldness in Men among others.
Then you could use Minoxidil as a hair restoration treatment option. Also inflammation of the scalp can cause hair loss as well. If you have done something different to your hair and scalp then you normally done then this could be causing inflammation. I would definitely consider a shampoo such as Heads and Shoulders or Nizoral to not only control some of the DHT in the scalp but to reduce inflammation as well.
Any treatment will take some time before you see results.

Fish Oil

Due to the potential for mercury poisoning, I usually take cold pressed Flax Seed Oil in liquid form along with Safflower Oil. Now the Safflower Oil I just get the commercial version you can find at any store to reduce overall cost.
I know some who take safflower oil along with MCT and swear by it.

hGH
Posted:

recombinant Human Growth Hormone will definitely make you leaner and improve your appearance but the inclusion of HGH as a daily injectable supplement can cause some issues.
First daily dosage for fat loss and age management is about 0.5 to about 2 I.U per day I believe for women. I may be a bit off on that but not by much. I would recommend about 1 I.U daily on a 5 day on 2 day off cycle. This is in part to reduce any possible negative side effects as well as keep the overall cost down.
But with HGH usuage your biggest negative side effect threat involves Insulin Tolerance. Some people after taking HGH for some time has to include some form of glucose medication to manage these side effects. Also taking HGH can cause some hormone imbalance issues such as Thyroid and increase of cortisol which can lower other hormones in the body- namely testosterone.
This is why many bodybuilders add T-3(triiodothyronine) as well as male androgens such as Testosterone and the like.
Plus adding Clenbuterol or other Beta Antagonist drugs like Ephedrine,T-3 and certain androgens can really create a synergistic effect that will really add to you losing weight.
