Yes, the idea for the gift exchange is for all the females to bring a womans gift and all the males to bring a mans gift. Either mark the gift for male or female or tell us which it is and we'll mark it. When you pay the cover, we'll have someone there to take the gifts and give you a raffle ticket. Then later, we'll call numbers and when you bring us your ticket, you pick one of the gender specific gifts. There is a $10.00 limit but you don't have to spend that much.

I've never been a fan of solid blonde hair but I loved your hair when it was blended blonde on top and dark underneath.

We could actually use those left over raffle tickets for the gifts!....I just need to bring some tape.....tape half the ticket to the gift and put the other half in a hat or box or sack or whatever....then have people draw a number.......only trouble would be how to tell the mans gifts from the womans gifts.....hmmmmmmmmm.......something to ponder. LOL

Yeah....the reason it worked is because if women bring a womans gift and men bring a mans gift the numbers even out. If 50 women come and bring a womans gift each there will be a womans gift for each one....and if 58 men come and bring a mans gift, it equals out, too. If you bring a gift for either sex then some woman could end up with a mans gift or a man with a womans gift.....long winded way of saying....each gender needs to bring something for their own gender. LOL

But it would be nice to find a way to exchange gifts.....but it's so difficult when you don't know who all is coming. I remember how we did it one year at work....each woman would bring a woman's gift and the men would bring a man's gift. When we got them we'd put numbers on the women's and letters on the mens. Then the ladies were given a number and the men were given letters and that was their gift number or letter. It worked out well.

Lets enjoy an old fashion Christmas Party!!!! Many POF members have asked for another event with Brad & Lynn! Hostesses...Phoenix, PrincessGreenEyes and Gemini Gal 57 Place ………Brad & Lynn’s Happy Days Date............December 5 2009 Time............7:30 PM til ? Where..........6309 Werner Ave., New Port Richey, 34652 This is a Private Party for all POF members and Guests at a totally awesome place. Brad & Lynn's Happy Days rent out this facility for their normal rental charge, $7.50 per person, which includes facility fees , DJ fees, Traditional Christmas Dinner catering, name tags & an inexpensive night out!!! MENU Turkey Ham Stuffing Mashed Potatoes Salads With more sides and desserts A few have suggested the gift exchange idea and we like it.....so.....here's the idea....men bring a mans gift and women bring a womans gift...I think a $10.00 limit should cover it although you don't have to spend the entire $10.00 S. ~~~~~The Park is there, we helped pay for it and I plan to get the best use out of it that we can!! NOTHING LIKE A GOOD PICNIC TO CHASE THE BLUES AWAY, AND HAVE A GOOD TIME !!~~~~~ I agree....but unfortunately, since the counties decided to start charging for use of the pavillions, I just couldn't afford to reserve them. It sux to be broke all the time. I'm so glad you took the initiative and made this picnic happen. Maybe, in the future, I'll come up with the means to have a few picnics, too. And I agree with the girls.....you ARE wonderful...and a great POF host!!!

OK.....checked out a few...most were WAY spendy....but I found one out of Clearwater. The admission is $14.95 but.....you have to purchase the dinner buffet seperately for $16.95....not a bad deal still.....2 to 2 1/2 hour sunset cruise and Tropical Party cruise.....if anyone wants to check it out and give feedback, it's called the Calypso Queen out of Clearwater.
