Reading through some of the replys i agree, others i dont. Yes i may be in my 50s but as often said i aint dead yet. I like to think if i was lucky enough to meet someone i would make all the effort i could to please him. I dont mean sex, but in the way i dressed , spoke to him and hope he was comfortable with it. If he was to get in touch with you in the first place , then why not make the effort? I have made my effort to myself by losing weight, and hey i FEEL GOOD about it, so another reason to make the efoort to show him how good i feel ,.

Well i have to say i feel better in myself now than i ever did in my 40s. I have had lifes ups and downs as many people have, but i dont feel my age and want to carry on this way. I hope men who see me will take a second look , if not their loss not mine .

I agree with what you say about honesty. And like others on here , i tend to get nutters wanting to chat. I have to say i have not really met anyone for the dating side , only chats on here. I have said that i am honest and i would like to think others were too, but alas , there are so many that are not. What do people get out from lying? I came on this site looking for friends and maybe more if it happened, but i dont think i am suited to the men on here. I have lost a lot of weight and this gave me some of my confidence back, but i am beginning to think maybe i was better off not losing the weight as no one seems interested. So yes this has changed me, in so many ways .

Hi agree with previous posters on here. You get what you want out of this site. I have had my profile on a few sites, including eharmony(yes waste of time) , but to me this site is great. I have met a few, chatted to many , still fishing, but hey life is the same as this site, its what you want from it. I am happy to meet someone wether they have a car or job. Its the personality. Obviously you dont have any .

You are lucky you even get a date , i dont lol ,,,, seriously if you are wondering how to date at 49 what bloody chance have i got at 52. ? I cant remember the last time i went on a date, but i do agree with some of the comments made on here. A lot of women and men date younger, i dont mind a few yrs difference , but dont want em my kids ages. Thank heavens for ANN SUMMERS

No i dont agree with you. I am now 52, i dont feel my age at all, been told by many i look sexy. I never had this said to me before when my children lived at home. Not even by my ex husband. I feel its my time now and i have more time to feel good and look after myself than i ever did when i was bringing my kids up, and i think a lot of mums will agree with that. We older women want to feel as sexy as the younger ones do, but havent always had the time to do anything about it. Well now is MY TIME. And believe me i feel sexy so i hope fellas think so too.
