I'd love to be in a situation where a female friend of mine was going on a date with a guy that has a foot fetish........... lend her a pair of socks that have been on my feet for a week straight. She could wear those socks during the evening of her date, and I would LOVE to see the look on his face when he nose dives to her feet..... fak that would be soooo funny!!! My foot odor can peel paint...............!!!! ........ and no I am not proud of that fact, quite ashamed actually.....

^^^^ Cowtrucker explained it pretty well to a T. I know you mention feeling anxiety boiling up when your trying to slow down on a slippery road, and meanwhile an 18-wheeler is coming up on your six. Believe me, they want to be able to slow down just as much as you do..... that extra weight they are hauling doesn't stop on a dime. It's the same situation to a kilometer long railroad train that is trying to stop.... now I don't know what the figures are but I bet it takes more than a 1/2 mile to come to a complete stop. I know also that when a big 18 wheeler is seeing a big incline of a hill up ahead... they tend to want to really speed up and take a run at that hill, so any little vehicle in front of them needs to speed up too.... it again it comes back to them hauling a lot of weight, and needing extra momentum to make it up that hill in a decent gear. Otherwise they have to put the 4 way flashers on and creep up the hill in a low bull gear.... then everyone behind the truck is fuming because now the 18-wheeler has to power up the hill in low gear, because some slower vehicle in front of them forced them to slow down. Being a truck drive is not an easy job that's for sure.

cowtrucker.... I bet you just love the Canadian icy roads eh?!? I couldn't agree more with you, I think truckers have it the worse, and like that cute lil country filly mentioned.... "I think the world needs more drivers who are aware of their surroundings, and what they are doing to make the roads safer for everyone on them." Absolutely! I think these driving instructors are only teaching their students the minimum knowledge required for them to pass their driver's test.... and that's it. Once they are own the road on their own.... the rest of us have to be twice on guard. People now a days drive aggressively instead of being defensively. "Rush rush rush I am soooo important, oh I need to take that exit because I didn't preplan my route.... so I'll just cut across these three lanes without signaling (because after all I am soooo important and late)". I've been driving four winters now without any extra added weight in my 1/2 ton's box. Every time the weather changes slightly for the worse, there are all kinds of people that end up in the ditch for loss of control..... me I only loose control when I want too (mind black ice is no fun to screw around with).

Without knowing the entire details of this particular man's military records.... it is difficult to say if he was just following orders, or issuing them? Whether or not he sent prisoners of war, or slave off to death camps I don't know. However I think that crimes committed during the second world war by Nazies.... should NOT be just swept under the rug with the ideology of "oh it happened 60 some odd years ago". The same kind of precedent ed defense could be argued for the Taliban and 911.... "oh it happened a few years ago, it doesn't matter anymore". UH...!!! Yeah it still matters! It matters to A LOT of people! Maybe the Jewish people of Isreal should be asked what they think.... and whether or not they forgive him, and again it all comes back to exactly what is he being accused of, and more importantly what exactly is he guilty of. I think no crime should go unpunished..... no matter how much time has passed. I don't think parents who have lost a child to pedophile/murderers would forgive the criminal because of time elapse. EDIT: oops I didn't notice: acts of extraordinarily savage violence against camp prisoners! Therefore I need to add an amendment to my statement and add this:.... he should be executed at Auschwitz, and maybe that would give the place a little peace of payback.

Firearm license instructors here in Ontario warn students within the first 5 minutes of the course NEVER to point a firearm at anyone (loaded or unloaded.... because one can never be 100% sure if a firearm is loaded until they do their own check). It is seriously repeated to always point a firearm in a safe direction. I have heard many stories also about how instructors have failed people right on the spot during a course who have disrespected that firearm commandment. Just once in my life I would love to hold and fire a Dessert Eagle on a target line, oh and a Barret 50 cal sniper rifle!

^^^^ I do the same thing with tailgaiters..... I'll slow down first, but if they are being persistent knobs than I resort to the "Brake Shock" technique. I usually even pull tight to the right of the lane when the oncoming lane is safe to pass to give the space to pass me. Lack of usage of signal lights ticks me off too..... and people who brake at the last minute before making a turn. I don't care where people are going.... but I do care about when they decide to make their turn.

Discovery Channels has that series of shows called Dog Fights with computer animations (pretty cool series too bad I don't get that channel anymore). According to them the Germans wrote the book on aeronautical combat in WW1 with the Americans continued use of it still to this day. I was thinking last night while watching the hockey game..... how 75% of the NHL is mostly Canadian boys! I thought to myself......"hmmm we play hockey like we fight". Twas just a thought.

No surprise of course that the OP is a recently jaded woman...... everything that's on that list I have seen for myself women stating the same things, AND DOING THE EXACT OPPOSITE THEMSELVES!
