oasis............... just a beatles wanna be group, they put out a couple of decent albums but england thinks they were the 2nd coming of the fab 4. liam tries to much to look like and sound like john lennon and noel tries 2 be like good ole paul, i mean they even went out and hired zak starkey (ringo's son) at 1 time. they also tried to hire dhani harrison. there will never be another beatles again so bands need to stop trying to be them, be yourself

well ravens fans, its time to put a fork in the ravens because there done. the possible way 2 get in the playoffs now is to go 5-1 the rest of the way with at least 1 of those wins being against pittsburgh. these losses have really hurt. it sux to know that this team could be 9-1 right now and leading the afc for home field advantage in the playoffs. look at the 5 games they have lost. yesterday the ravens had the game in hand, then came the dumb int by flacco, even after that the coach made a stupid mistake of burning 2 time outs on 1 play, instead of the colts punting with 28 seconds left, they would been punting with 1:08 left, we have gotten the ball at our 40 with around 57 seconds and only having 2 go 20-25 yards with almost a minute on the clock 4 a game winning fg chance. the 1st cincy game we had the lead with less than a minute to go, the minnesota game the kicker missed the game winning fg, the new england game clayton dropped the game winning catch and a 1st down catch inside the pats 15 yrd lin

for me its chinese democracy by gnr........................... just kidding, this is a hard 1, hmmm i would say alice in chains "black gives way to blue", i was skeptical of aic putting out a new album without layne staley, but black blew me away, had the vintage chains sound, just a great album that real hard rock fans would appreciate.

im not saying art is totaly innocent but facts are facts, owners generally dont pay for renovating stadiums, the stadium was owned by the city of cleveland and art had to pay out of pocket for all the maintenance. where was the city of cleveland when art needed them. my point is art had no choice to move the team. he was going bankrupt because he had to keep taking out loans because the browns were losing money. art could have made better decisions no doubt but it surprises me that the fans of cleveland only wanna blame art. art deserves to be in the hof because he has done more 4 the nfl then anyone. art is the one that got the nfl on t.v., art never gets credit for anything, noone ever talks about bob irsay. he took the colts from baltimore after the city was in the final stages of thew stadium deal. the stadium was suppose to be built from in the summer of 1984 to the summer of 1987 and open for the 87 season. people never saw the documentary where jim irsay was screaming at his father in the halls of bwi

i like jon gruden on MNF but fact of the matter is he grew up a cleveland fan and he is still bitter about the move to baltimore in 1995. the ravens could always where baltimore colts uniforms next week. gruden should have left that comment unsaid because its disrespectful. lets not forget the city of cleveland left art modell no choice but 2 move the team. cleveland just built the indians a new stadium and built the rock n roll hall of fame and when modell asked to renovate the old browns stadium they said NO. modell was losing $$$ on the browns because of piece of crap they played in. When modell told them he would have no choice to move team, the mayor replied go ahead and move. it was either move or go bankrupt. at least the team name, colors, history, and everything asscoiated with the browns was left in cleveland. if irsay would have done that 4 baltimore. there would be no indinanpolis colts. so grow up gruden and stop making side cracks against the ravens.

you know im a huge ravens fan and i came away from this game feeling more like we lost. this was a game where the ravens were suppose to get the offense back on track and they totaled 9 points on offense against a horrible team. the defense looked ok but if they play that same style of defense against the colts it will be a very long day. im disappointed it wasnt a dominating game but i will take a win any time. the ravens r 5-4 now and are still in the wildcard hunt with denver, san diego, and pittsburgh in front of them. the ravens own wins over denver and san diego and still get to play pittsburgh twice. they only got to get in front of 1 of those teams to make the playoffs, so the ravens still hold there own destiny in there hands. as you can see my predictions arent that accurate [see previous post], i predict we hang with the colts and pull off a 4th quarter win 28-24. i also predict mike nugent will be kicking fgs for the ravens come sunday. jon gruden is wrong by the way, see 1996 ravens uniform,

well as bad as we looked at times this season i don't think we will let the browns make us look bad, my score prediction is 33-0 at half time and i think troy smith comes in mid way thru the fourth qrt. final score prediction is 46-13

i agree bronco he isnt worth the money, hes not terrible but he suffers when there isnt a pass rush. the same could be said for alot of starting corners in the nfl. last year when fabian washington started 14 games he looked great because of the pass rush. this year the pressure isnt there so the secondary is suffering. look at ed reed, the guy is a future hall of famer and he is struggling, why you ask, well i think his neck injury has something to do with it but at the end of the day ithink its because we get no pressure on the qb. on the flip side to that look at the broncos, last year they had the worst defense in the nfl, now they have 1 of the best, why???? because there getting pressure on the qb. the ravens will get better when they replace some of the d-line in the offseason. i predict the ravens finish 9-7 and miss the playoffs. the bad thing is us fans will be pointing at the minnesota and 1st cincy game and say they should have been2 wins that would have made the difference between 9-7 and 11-5.

i think age happened, lewis, reed, gregg, pryce, are over the age of 31 combined with average unproven corners in foxworth and washington. landry isnt healthy and i dont think he'll ever be. suggs got paid and came into camp over weight and got hurt and missed the last 3 weeks of training camp. he isnt in shape yet and it shows on the field. combine all that with the loss of rex ryan who new how to disguise the defenses weakness with an exotic pass rush, u got the answer to why the defense has struggled. dont underestimate the loss of bart scott either he often took the double team of suggs. the corners have been weak for the last few years but ryan covered that up. the new d coordinator runs a base defense leaving the corners on an island which just doesnt work when they arent that good. bottom line is when we get pressure like in the denver, cleveland, and kansas city games the defense is good and sometimes great but when there isnt a pass rush they get torched. this is an average defense at best.

hes a piece of you know what if u ask me, i love the music but i hate it when they think they can do what they want. its all making sense. he cancelled the show 4am. noone that is sick with only a sore throat is awake at that time. and if he was that sick he wouldnt have gotten better that quick to be able to perform 2night. he was out partying thats the bottom line. i cant wait until th reviws come out. if people say he was great ill know something is up. screw you daltrey. people pay there hard earned $ and spend there money to travel to see a show, not hear an excuse. its his responsibility to do his job. i have already put my atlantic city tickets up 4 sale on stub hub. i cant take the chance of traveling that far for another let down. use it or lose it tour is a joke. stop using it roger because according to you, you lost it, especially if u cant keep it going 4 more than a month.

i love roger but is he a primadonna singer like most??? last nght he was slated do a show in baltimore but cancelled due to throat problems. well i just got off the phone with the wellmount theater in new jesery which is about 3 hours from baltimore and hes performing there tonight. they said during soundcheck he sounded great with no issues. now last night he was told by doctors not to perform and nowtoday hes all better????? i spent 360 4 2 tickets and he cancelled. sounds like to me he just didnt feel like doing the show which is a ignorant move. i have been looking forward to this show 4 6 months and now i have to wait a month to get my money back and hes not rescheduling. is this something he has done inthe past??? or am i wrong and overreacting?

the ravens r done plain and simple. to much has to happen to make the playoffs. i hope i am wrong because i am a huge ravens fan but look at the schedule. assuming they beat browns they'll be 5-4. the last 7 games r very hard. lets say they beat the lions and raiders, they means they would have 7 wins. the other 5 games are against the steelers twice, the colts, packers on the road, and the bears at home. out of those 5 games u gotta beat the steelers at least once, the colts because its a confrence opponent, and either the bears or packers. even if they do that which is doubtful, they will only be 10-6 with a 3-3 division record. considering the bengals and steelers already have 6 wins and 1 of them will have 7 by the end of sunday i dont think 10 wins with at least 3 division losses will be enough. now i hope wrong but fellow ravens fans i think its just about time to chalk this up to a bad year.

i love roger daltrey and the who. even know they are way b4 my time. i had tickets in the first row for a roger daltrey show last night in baltimore. well unfortunately the show was cancelled the mourning of the show due to a sore throat. obviously i am very disappointed but very understandable. the ironic part is the name of the tour is the use it or lose tour. roger has been have problems on the entire tour. i paid 180 a piece 4 the tickets and there offering a refund but there trying to reschedule so im keeping my tickets until i get final word there will be no show. i have already purchased tickets to go to atlantic city this week as i am dieing to see a living legend b4 its 2 late.

let me start by saying this, i am a big a ravens fan as anyone but lets not get it twisted. the refs did not beat us. we beat ourselves. no ravens fan is complaining about the roughing call that was called on new england. yeah all the roughing calls were kind of nit picking but thats not what beat the ravens. this is what beat us : chris carr fumbling on the opening kickoff giving new england 3 points, joe flacco throwing an interception that took at least 3 points off the board for baltimore and it lead to points for new england. mark clayton dropping a touchdown pass on the final drive, mark clayton dropping a 1st down ball on the final drive, and the offensive line not giving flacco good protection, thats what cost baltimore the game not the refs. point is we proved we can hang with the big boys and we also prov ed we have alot to work on if we want to make it to the superbowl.

i dont like the colts and it has nothing to do with ersay, i hate them because there not the baltimore team. we havent beaten them in quite a few years but for some reason that really doesnt seem to matter, i was so pissed we had to loose 3 times to pittsburgh last year. i think were gonna be as good as we were last year and we got a good shot of beating indy this year. flacco isnt going to throw for 3 tds and 300 yards every week, my concern is still the lack of reicevers. other than derrick mason, the rest are very inconsistent and that will bite us in the ass once in comes playoff time.

I think the defense will do there thing and that will keep us in alot of games, but the offense is still the weak link of this team. the ravens finally have a qb to build around and there not willing to do what it takes to bring in a legitmate threat to pair with derrick mason. todd heap is to injury prone and l.j. smith doesnt ever seem to be healthy, so i think tight end could be a weak spot. fact of the matter is will probally win 10 or 11 games again this year, but until we beat pittsburgh it doesnt mean a thing. We have to beat the steelers at least once, if not the season is a failure. They beat us 3 times last year, you can say what u want about the regular season games but in the playoffs we cant blame any referees, we choked, thats the bottom line. I am a huge ravens fan and i cant wait til sept 13th.

there are 3 sides to every story, your side, his side, and the truth. Its hard to base anything off the info you are providing, obviously the judge has reason to believe your stopping access and without more information i would be more prone to believe a judge over you.

I wanna keep this short and sweet. Michael did alot of crazy things in his life no doubt. Me for one dont believe the neverland accusations of child molestation. Like a previous poster said, 1000's of kids slept at neverland over the years and only 2 or 3 claim to be molested????? They were after his money, alls i can say is research before you make judgement. His biggest mistake was letting kids sleep in his bed (THAT DOES NOT MEAN HE MOLESTED THEM). Michael cared very much about the children of this world and went out of his way to help them. The make a wish foundation sent tons of kids to the neverland ranch because michael wanted to make a difference, He organized and co-wrote the We are the world that helped 1000's of kids in africa. he donated millions upon millions in donations, he spent millions in research for aids. The man did alot of things that noone wants to talk about. I personally respected the man more for what he did to help the kids of the world. He influenced many many artists of todays era and is comparable to john lennon in that respect and its sad to have him removed from this earth just before the london tour. I personally had tickets for a concert in late july. R.I.P. MICHAEL JACKSON---SUCH A SAD THING TO SAY WAY TO SOON IN LIFE.

Robert Plant stated before he wouldnt want to do a led zeppelin tour because he doesnt want to try and relive the past by performing zep tunes. He thinks the music is the past and it should stay in the past. Well if that was true I could understand that to a degree. But I dont buy that story for 1 minute because on the plant/krauss tour they are doing zeppelin tunes every night they perform. I saw them this past summer and he or they did 7 songs by zeppelin including "going to california" "dancing days" "ramble on" 'kasmir" "babe im gonna miss you" and a few others. Why is he willing to perform these songs with Krauss and not the remaining members of led zeppelin. back in 1994 plant and page did the unledded tour and released the album no quarter which is filled with remakes of old zeppelin tunes. So my biggest question is does he have something against john paul jones? what is the real story about not wanting to reunite for a mini tour or whatever. Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones already said they orinigally wanted to record a new album with robert and tour that but Robert just doesnt seem intrested in working with these 2 guys at all. Oh by the way according to Jimmy Pages manager, Page, jones, and bonoham will not be hiring a new singer and recording or touring anytime in the near future. rollingstone reported they auditioned a few singers but noone fit the bill.

women have sex early on in life partly because of us men you know, it takes to tango, they are more single mothers because most guys bale on them, did u ever think of that? my ex had our daughter when she was 20 and i was 21, we obviously arent together anymore but i always supported my kid and she needs no help from the system. if more fathers would step up, less women would need the so called system!

well with magini i think it was he had the job a few years and other than one playoff birth hasnt really done much at all. and as far as cam cameron goes, he didnt have a quarterback in miami, he seems to be doing well in baltimore as the coordinator and miami is doing well now that they have a qb. the quarterback solves alot of problems as we see in miami, atlanta and baltimore.

ur not thinking right, your doing your daughter an injustice by doing the things your doing, you need help. you shouldnt be leaning on him for support, your broken up, move on, sounds like you are very jealous, if you know what your doing is wrong and you want to stop then why dont you? because you cant, so you need help and going to the plenty of fish message board isnt exacty help. go get some therapy, and let the little girl stay with her father because its obvious your doing more harm to the child then good by acting the way you are. im sure these arguments are going on right in front of the kid, how do you think it makes the little girl feel? GO GET SOME HELP AND DO YOUR DAUGHTER A FAVOR, LET HER LIVE WITH HER FATHER UNTIL YOU ARE SANE AGAIN!

you need to give him full custody like free time says, not saying you cant have visitation but you are hurting your 4 year old, him and yourself, your an unfit parent right now, let the child live with him, and you go get some help. if it happend one time i would say fine, sh!t happens, but this happen numerous times. just because he has a personal life outside of you doesnt mean you should act the way you are. you need some help, it may not be your fault, but in the mean time you should let your daughter live with him until you are ready again to be a good mother because right now your being a bad mother.

like the previous poster said, when they turn 18 they can do what they want, but until then they should keep there fathers last name. did there father do anything to them? whats the story behind this? there definetly more to it, kids just want to change there last name because mommy has a different one, what happens if u remarry, they gonna wanna change it again, my advice would be to tell them thats there last name until there at least 18

you need to take a chance sooner or later or you will always be alone, after 4 or 5 dates if your at ease with the guy then you should have no problems with going back to his house, not nesscarily for sex but for anything. and it wouldnt hurt for you to give the guy a little poon once in a while, let loose, be young and have some fun and stop being worried about every little thing.

Mark Teixeira to the orioles, nationals, yankees, or red sox? Posted: 12/19/2008 7:24:47 AM
Ok I did a search on Mark Teixeira and didnt see anything so I thought I would do a thread on the most sought out free agent on the market. The guy is going to get a ton of money from any team he signs with. First off Mark Teixeira grew up a orioles fan living in the servana park area in maryland about 20 mins outside of baltimore. He went to orioles games during his entire child hood at old memorial stadium and camden yards. I live in Baltimore and I am a Orioles fan but I dont feel like were going to land him for a number of reasons. Anyway the Red Sox owner last night said the Red Sox were not going to be a factor for Tex anymore. I dont believe this for a second, all this is, is a ploy to try and get Scott Boras to stop screwing around and get Tex to make a decision. I still think the Red Sox are the favorite to land him. But I also think the Red Sox dont need him as much as some of the other teams do. The Baltimore Orioles need this guy the most for a few reasons. The Orioles have been one of the laughing stock's in the mlb over the last 10 years. Since Andy Mcfail has taken over the Orioles have made some good moves with trading tejada and bedard for some young good players. Adam Jones will be the equal to Torii Hunter within the next 2 years and Matt Weiters is the top prospect in all of baseball. The have one of the best young outfielders in the game with Nick Markakis but the pitching is poor at best. The Orioles need Tex because he is Maryland Native and the Orioles really need a face for there organization. Tex is 28 years old and is a potential hall of famer first basemen. I believe the Orioles are on the right track to possibly build a respectable franchise over the next few years but they need this guy to do that. The Yankees are believed to have intrest but have not made an offer and are believed to be a long shot at landing him but then again they are the yankees and it wouldnt surprise me one bit to see a headline saying " The New York Yankees have agreed to terms with Free agent first basemen Mark Teixeira on a 9 year deal worth 190 million dollars." But after spending over 240 million on burnett and CC Sabathia I dont think it will happen. The Nationals are long shot as well in my opinion because If he choose to play close to home for the same type of money he will pick the orioles because of his love for the orioles gorwing up, plus angelos wont let tex go to Washington. Whatever Washington offers, Baltimore will beat it, Angelos doesnt want the embarrsement of the best first basemen in the american league signing with Washington when he grew up an orioles fan. The Angels are intresting but Mark Teixeira has made it clear he wants to play on the East Coast and if he doesnt pick the orioles I would be willing to bet he picks Boston or New York. All 3 of those East Coast Teams will offer more money. I think it will take a miracle for the angels to keep him but you never know with Scott Boars. So in closing I think Mark Teixeira will end up signing with The Boston Redsox sometime within the next week and if the Red Sox are truly out of it, I think he will choose Baltimore if New York doesnt extend a mind blowing offer.

I serched the threads and didnt see anything about the late/great freddie mercury. I just wanted to express how i feel about the man as a singer/entertainer. obviously I am not old enough to remember the early queen years but through the internet, dvd, and buying all the albums I am just amazed how good queen was live. Off all the bands I have seen live or on dvd, queen was by far the best live. Freddie was a hell of a singer, one of the greatest of all time if you ask me and when you add that with his showmanship, you get a guy that was one of the best overall front men of any band that ever lived. the point of this thread is to just remind yourself of all the memories you had growing up or what not listening to queen and watching freddie do what he did best. PLEASE DONT TRY AND PUT THE MAN DOWN BECAUSE OF HIS SEXUAL PREFRENCES. HE MADE HIS DECISIONS AND HE SUFFERED THE CONSEQUENSE FOR THEM, DO NOT BASH HIM FOR BEING GAY, CELEBRATE HIM FOR BEING ONE OF THE GREATEST ENTERTAINERS OF ALL TIME!

the cowboys are having a bad year, romo wont come in and fix everything, cowboys are nothing than bunch of head cases, im surprised they didnt sign deangelo hall, he would have fit in great in dallas, fact of the matter is, flacco is growing every week, you can say what you want, ravens have put up 27 points or more in 4 consecutive games, this week will be a challenge with the giants, there the best running team in the nfl and were the best at stopping the run, we havent allowed 1 100 yard rusher in 40 of the last 41 games, 28 consecutive. but noone can run on the ravens so if we stop there run and pressure manning, the game will be close, i wouldnt bet on either team in a game like this, the cowboys will lose to the redskins...AGAIN, there o-line is played horrible this year, romo turns the ball over way to much, and he will also be rusty coming back from the injury, i pick the redskins to win 24-14, i will also pick the giants over the ravens 17-14 on a last second field goal.

[Good grief sister...It's called telling the police a crazy ass dude is stalking you. Get a restraining order. He's nuts ] noone said the guy was stalking her, her profile said she was looking for a long term relationship before she changed it, she went out with him 7 times. the guy seems like a wacko, but you didnt do your self any favors by misleading him, just tell him your not intrested and if he doesnt stop then you get the restraining order, you cant just get a restraining order because someone says they love you. ok so he made mistakes in the past, so you end it, end of story, if he doesnt stop take the action you feel is right then.

i feel for ya boss, men are already against the odds when it comes to this sort of thing, now with a protective order against you, your in trouble without a real lawyer, its gonna cost you big money, i hope your prepared and good luck.

im not trying to put you down buts that why you dont get married women pregnaut unless there married to you of course. whos name is on the birth certificate??? because if your name is on it you have parental rights to the child RIGHT NOW. if his name is on it, ur screwed, you will have to go through a custody battle. but like i said if your name is on the b.c. then you do have parental rights to the child and you have the right to pick the child up and see the kid until there is a court order or some kind of temporary custody agreement in court until you all go to fight it out with lawyers and things. does she have a protective order against you? because if she doesnt you have the right to go to her residence and see your kid if nothing is in writing saying you cant. but like i said before, if your name isnt on the birth certificate you better get a good lawyer and take a paternity test.

put him in his room and let him cry himself to sleep, it may sound harsh but this is the only way to get the point across that he is not welcome to sleep in ur bed, he is getting to an age to where thats not proper and it could mess him up in the head if he depends on sleeping with you.

I always said I wanted 3 kids, 2 boys and a girl to be exact, but things changed, I had a baby girl and I love her to death and shes 3 now going on 4, but I dont want anymore children. For some reason she just captured my heart and I dont want to have to share it with other kids, well that may come off a little wrong because I was dating a girl who had a 4 year old son, the kids got along great and they really liked playing with one another, I was good to little boy, treated the same way as my daughter, but for other reasons the relationship didnt work out. luckily for my daughter i have stayed friends with the girl and our kids still play together so it worked out for everyone. my daughter has lots of friend thAT are welcome over my home anytime and she also has 3 cousins. she doesnt need brothers and sisters, she has those same kind of bonds with her cousins and friends. i dont plan to have more children but down the road you never know so i am not planning to have more but if it happends I wont be mad about it.

ok ur a dallas fan even better. good luck with getting to the playoffs, oh yeah sense you probally havent watched the ravens play at all this year how can you have a realistic opinion on flacco. well you will get your chance to see him up close and personal at the end of the season when baltimore comes to play the last game in the cowboys stadium. more than likely the ravens will have the opportunity to knock the cowboys out of the playoff hunt by then if there not done before then, good luck and lets get in touch late next month and we can see what happends in that game. its all in fun by the way, good luck.

AND if you dont think he has any running ability, look at the number, he has a 38 yard td run and a 26 yard td run as well as a 43 yard catch.

another good day for flacco, you can say what u want that hes not a good qb already, but week in and week out hes getting better and better. and the last time heap didnt do to well, well it all started going down hill for him in the playoff game against the colts 2 years ago. And what about the 2 td catches heap has dropped this year, 1 in the opener, hit him right in his hands, and then one against the browns in the 2nd game. and clayton would be better? clayton hasnt had a good year in the nfl yet. including with mcnair, he transfered from pitt because the playing time wasnt there, i'll give you that, but answer this, where is tyler pako now? what is a qb suppose to have, well you want your qb to be tall, some running ability, a strong a arm and an ability to stay cool under pressure. lets see, flacco is 6'6, strong arm, cool demeaner, and some running ability even for a big guy, im guessing on this but you must be a steelers fan. steelers fans are the only fans that trash flacco. well the division is tied right now, ravens 6-3 and the steelers are 6-3. the guy is good, i wonder why noone will give him any credit for the throws HE is making. mason has always been pretty good. but clayton is a first round bust, heap is declining although he had a good game yesterday, and the third wr is who???? terrance copper? give me a break. yamon figures should be starting opposite mason. clayton needs to go back into the slot and maybe he will be successful some what.
