WOW !! I cant seem to get past the fact that your not already married, not to mention my being bewildered at the fact that either one of you would want to marry the other... at least by the sound of this post, that is.
No offense intended but it seems to me that, indeed, you speak of "Problem [SEX]" only????? My advice would be to work on "Respecting Each Other" and "Loads of Communication" on all levels,in all aspects, both in and out of the bedroom.... Then you will find being horny turns into 'passion'... feeling obligated, or it to be a duty, turns into 'Desire and Longing' Trust and Patience replaces the burden of Pre-set Expectations, Frustrations disappear with creativity taking its place. and so forth .... Get the picture?
Of course thats just my opinion, but would like to wish you luck on what ever path you choose.

Sex with married men
Posted:
8/29/2006 10:07:13 AM
First I think I would ask myself, " Hmmmmm, Am I a bad housekeeper and live a lil like a pig?" "Do I wear a little too much makeup and dress a little provacative?" "Do I Drink a lil too much and act like an idiot when I do drink alcohol?" Have I ever driven while intoxicated.... especially with a passenger?" "Do I overeat?, Drink too much coffee?" " Do I have to be the center of attention alot of times?" "Do I gossip a bit too much or talk behind peoples back and then be nice to their face?" "How many lil white lies makes me an actual Liar?" "Do I always work my hardest and do my best?" "Am I always at my best with others and mean every nice thing I say along with every smile I give?" Have I ever taken or stole or kept something that didnt belong to me?" .............. and many more examples........ I will just say, if you are perfect, then I guess you have the right to judge, if your not perfect, has your friend lost her respect for you and your imperfections or bad judgements? If she has, I'm not sure how you even remain friends?? Friendship is not about right or wrong when it does not directly concern you or affect your own life.
I am not saying that I think people who cheat on their spouses are right , but nor am I saying they are wrong either. I am just saying, it is not right for me to place judgement on them, and above all not on my friend, In any case, nobody knows what goes on behind someone elses closed doors, regardless what reasoning lies behind whatever the action may be. As individuals , we each make our own choices - right or wrong - and either way, we each will have to learn something from it, and good or bad, forever live with it. If you really think about it...... If we lost respect for each and every friend who made a mistake or did not make the wisest of choices in their life - we would all be without respect and without friends. Like I said though - JMO

Why do guys 'LIE' for eachother when busted?
Posted:
8/26/2006 10:07:09 AM
I'm with *belgarion* on this one, I feel the people that do this, still need a bit of growing up to do.
I, myself am not perfect, but nor have I wanted or expected a friend to clean up my mess, therefore, I have learned to make fewer messes...... you live and learn and own up, otherwise you will continue to constantly be making a mess while having expectations of others, (Whom You Call Your Friend) helping clean it up. If someone considers me to be their friend, I would hope they would never even want to drag me into it to begin with.
In short, I would say, When someone makes their bed, then they alone should lie in it, and learn by it, which means a true friend would always be close by sitting in a chair, NOT on the edge of, nor the foot of the bed, but, just merely a chair.

Females: What is more attractive --> Men showing or NOT showing Emotion??????
Posted:
8/1/2006 2:38:49 PM
Wow ! Men have emotions?? Havent found me one yet! Good to know they exist though
I personally am not a mind reader, although I may read anger, frustration, jealousy, and perhaps even depression, I, myself, would prefer to know WHY and WHAT lies beneath certain emotions that are expressed, instead of playing the ancient old game of "Whats Wrong?" "Tell Me" "C'mon Talk To Me" ........ just hate that .....
The good emotions are usually the "No Brainers" Happiness and Horniness are usually never questioned, and if they are, they are more easily talked about or shared freely.... Why is that I wonder?

Also most of the times there is someone who is an enabler, someone who likes that person better as a drunk, or is sypathetic towards their behavoir.
I, personally have to admit to a time in my life where, yes, I was in fact an enabler, was in a situation of being manipulated and brainwashed into believing I needed them... couldnt make it on my own without them, and nobody else would ever be interested in me ,let alone love me..... How crazy is that, now that I look back? Anyhow, right or wrong, I encouraged his drinking, God knows not for reasons of liking him better , but in hopes that he would pass out quicker in order to argue less, not to mention the likelyhood of "the more he drank, the chances of sex were narrowed down" . I believe it was both weakness and fear on my part, that not only wasted part of my life and my youth, but also did not benefit him in any chance of a sooner recovery, if any. I can only say now that the longer one remains in this type of situation, the harder it is to free yourself of it, so I suggest Be strong and be your own person, try to avoid allowing yourself to go in between the rock and the hard place.

There isnt anything important a woman has taught me except how to impress or look prettier for a man".
Rain* Ditto on that! I also took *wordsunknown* to feel some sort of resentment towards her own gender, but was not quite sure and thought maybe I had just misunderstood what she meant????
*wordsunknown* - Also speaking thru age and experience, IMO, it is admirable of you or any female or male to be devoted to, have respect for, be loyal to, and truely appreciate what can be taught to you by a SO............. and no offense intended here, and as I stated, IMO only, your post struck me as though you have not only been brainwashed, but have underwent some sort of Training Course in being Obedient to a Master??? All jokes aside, I truely believe that being born with both brains and heart, we all, as individuals, male and female, each have our own times and places where our intelligence, and/or common sense as well as our emotions are both needed and used accordingly.... no matter how old I become in this life, I honestly hope I never lose the capability of learning from others ..... and maybe I should also include becoming deaf from lack of desire to listen, learn and feel what others can teach me, while in turn, they can also respect my own ideas, opinions and feelings.
OK, ...NOW that I have everyone confused.....

**Kytasa**
"AMEN" to that !
There is no greater gift than life itself. I am an addict who has been in recovery for years now, all I can say is, "I am who I am, and accept that I cannot change my past, I would if I could , but I cant, and see no point in wasting energy on regrets, its just that simple..... and if one cannot accept me because of my past, I am only better off then, for they are clearly not seeing me for who I am in the now, present anyhow.

Exactly why I would date a rehabilitated addict: sheer courage, strength and will. They were tested and came through their battle. Says much for their character and it's something I can honour.
Kytasa* Obviously, IMO, You are also one of strength and courage, along with compassion and support. MOST people never having been down this road themselves, have no idea of the battle, recovered addicts and alcoholics, must fight, sometimes, and more often than not, on a day to day basis. Many tend to steer clear of relationships with these kind of people from their own fear and insecurities that the person will relapse. Often a potential mate will show signs of doubt and a lack of confidence in an addict or alcoholic, which their own weakness in support, along with a lack of faith, can drive one into relapsing more easily. Have you ever noticed, its often advised to not date or enter into any new or different relationships for at least a full year of sobriety, if not longer ? It seems to be overlooked that the longer one remains clean, the more determined they become to stay that way indefinately, not to mention how this also strengthens other areas in their life as well.
............ so I've read anyhow....

feeling love
Posted:

The 3 little words are not where love is. They are nice to hear, however, a persons actions speak better than words.
If the other person consistently puts yourself ahead of them in what they do, if the other person does nice jesters for you without your asking or even hinting
Im with this guy here, ^^^^^^^ for instance, like a BMW and a Jag, and that half a mill home with an olympic size indoor swimming pool, 2 and 3 karat diamond jewelry, maids and butlers, Yachts, and Extremely Exotic Vacations, Your own personal private Jet.....
Just Kidding, I would say what everyone else has said , but for me, foremost it would have to be the look in ones eyes while making love to you, have only seen it once, er.... with one man that is........ was just not meant to be, however I do believe he loved me, just not as much as the above material things I mentioned
Greed can be an evil thing that I fear will someday bite those types in the @ss with rather sharp teeth !! Its nice to know my @ss will always remain in tact!

patience is a virtue..... hang in there, you dont know if she had a family or friend emergency that has let time get away from her...... maybe she spilled something on your # and it smeared , and shes just waiting for a proper length of time to show up on your doorstep, so as not to appear desperate, or feels funny showing up unannounced, out of the blue???? Possibly waiting for the Honeymooners to get back home, in order to get your # from them?? IMO, Just Be yourself when it comes to sex, let Nature takes its course naturally, in other words , Dont even think about it as far as if you should or shouldnt be more aggressive, AGAIN... Be yourself and do what comes naturally. Good Luck!
P.S. - Whoever made a comment about another wedding and the cops and ETC. Sounds interesting, Plz think about starting a thread on that!
