Do women want to have kids after 33-35ish?
Posted: 9/16/2009 6:01:02 PM
Children...well I am 41. I had my first child at 30 and miscarried just prior to calling my marriage quits. My divorce took a number of years to process and I feel robbed of the fun we could have had as a family if only his abuse of alcohol could have been delt with more effectively.

Our daughter is now 11 and I am still hopeful to meet a man who I can have another child with. I love children, always have. I looked after plenty of children when I was 11-16 before getting more formal employment as a waitress.

As individuals we never know what challenges life will throw our way. It is a personal choice for each woman to have children, how many to have, with whom and when. So keep on dating bluemoonman - I am sure the right girl is out there looking for you too!

Note to single parents....

Always take some time for yourself. Never feel guilty for something everyone requires. Being a single parent comes with lots of challenges but even your child needs a little space from their parent. That way...everyone wins.

It has been a while since I have been to the races - but it is always fun. I am without a vehicle these days though...would someone be heading there from the Ottawa/River area in Kitchener?

Oh the lessons we live in life, each one leaves us wiser. Thanks to those of you who understood this post and for your positive advice and kind words.

For those who felt good ripping a further strip of me - lol - hope you feel good about who you are and whatyou stand for. We all are humans, prone to errors. And - yip I made MISTAKES that I cannot erase.

But, my life goes on and I WILL be sure to next time and avoid further negative situations and male indivduals who appear to lack the right morals reguardless of where I meet them.

Sorry you got the impression I was blaming pof? Not really sure where you got that impression. I merely posted this to exemplify the experience I had.

It is dam shame to see people on this site so negative and self-righteous.

I am a teacher, certified in Primary/Junior education. At no point did I claim to know it ALL as a teacher. And as far as my daughter goes - excuse me for being a human being and mother who would like to enjoy life beyond a crappy marriage.

Good luck in going forward...since apparently backward seems to be a favored position for so many fish in this pond!

In 2003 I started dating an old boyfriend who I knew. Or thought I knew. After seeing each other for some time he cleaned out my apartment one night while my daughter and I were at a movie. She was 5. He stole all of our cds and dvds, as it turned out he had fallen back into an old drug habit. But it is a time that neither of us will forget.

After that I did pay attention to who I dated and their behaviour. However...

I knew him. At least, I thought I did. Do I need to nail and bolt everthing I own to the floor and go around in this city wondering who wants to rip the gold cain off my neck for a few bucks?

The purse and laundry money were in separate locations and taken at different times on the same date. Now...what do you suggest...

Ok - ladies and gentlemen - this is a first thread post for me, and oh how I wish it was for something positive. Unfortunately, it is not.

I met up with an individual from this site who felt quite comfortable stealing every bit of cash I had in my purse. Furthermore, he then depleated my laundry funds of multiple quarters and loonies to zero before leaving my home.

Do I need to run the plates of every man I meet from here on in to see if his word is worth anything? Or is the quality and moral values on this site going downhill so fast I should leave while I still have my bankcard in my possession?

Is this happening to other women out there? Hello?

Please review my profile

Just my opinion...and you did ask for an opinion: Your profile seems a lttle scattered. You need to write with conviction, sounds a little wishy washy if you know what I mean. Say it and mean it or do not put it down at all....

Oh...and the interest category...TOO MUCH....leave something to the time when someone actually messages you.

And never be afraid to read other profiles to some ideas or to make some kind of connection to another fish in the pond yourself.

IF YOU KEEP STANDING ON THE DOCK looking at the other fish YOU WILL NEVER CATCH A THING.

GOOD LUCK...hope it helps...

Dilemma skirted around?
Posted: 6/3/2009 2:11:44 PM
Holly CRAP!

Not sure us Canadians would make such a lot of fuss over such a post....cut to the chase and be up front with people! Communication, simple as it tends to be - is a factor so often overlooked. Do not assume either, since that can only lead to other problems! People are people.....human beings....we live...we learn....and we go on.
it is a cold world where there is no love take a chance... you may be glad you did...

Would you date a person with DISABLED CHILDREN?
Posted: 5/21/2009 7:55:34 PM
We all have a purpose in life. I just wish, pray and hope that those who missed out on learning how to love and to be compassionate are soon immersed in it. Face it - we all need LOVE!! Everyone needs to be loved, and to love without limits is the greatest gift parents can give their children. It is a gift that will grow for many years to come.

i feel the pig metre is an excellent idea...the only thing that is quite important before jumpingto conclusions on here are:

1. WHAT KINDA DAY IS IT....we all have good days...bad days and the kind....well I call them...me days. A me-day is a screw off day... i just need 2 do what I want, when I want, how I want......without some jackass stepping in and touching my shit. (no offense dad...u know i love u)

2. HAVE U DRIVEN A CHAIR LATELY....day - whoa....this is the kinda day u do notwanna talk 2me....that is....unless u love scarkissem ...that is sarcasim in my lingo and banter metre someties known as the wooden spoon lol of your own....right mom...and yes i respect and love you dearly for all you have taught me over the years. And ...yes the hard and fast rule does work best but have u ever considered patience 4more than 13 minutes...lol

oops more info than i thought.....

whenI write....I write from my heart....but i often wear a mask to hide my saddest moments. I will admit that i have been many ppl over the years....but for **** sakes....i am 40.

do i know it all....well...maybe...some days at a given point...but i honestly believe we are all given what it is we can handle at the time it steps in front of you....

so if u cannot take what you see....SHUT YOUR DANGNAMIT EYE BALLS

IF YOU DONOT LIKE WHAT U HEAR .....walk...roll...stroll...or just get another air space...oh offering each other the sign never hurts either. oit out works forthose who are not so coldandprickley

basically....what i am saying here is.....please...can we just see the human element in each of us and realize that instead of acting like an....u know....what i mean....use this forum 2 get off yourchest what pisses u off unless u know the dude at the other end is notreallyrude.... just spouting off a little because they had a bad, sad, frustrated or yip maybe a day of mad-ness a.k.a. an angry day.

We all express emotions...it is these that make us human...it is who we are....at least that is what we have been called4years.

2myfamily....that is allauout there

each other 4cover spice up your lifewith someone or something u never did b4 never serves a purpose....in fact....it causes more dam age than u dummies know... so... yor ass off....

this has been written by me 4all2c...it is written in a variety of interesting mediumsand could probably stand as its own thread....but

THATS NOT MY JOB - IALMAON PEOPLE...... comes in many forms....and the attends all the forums...so s rule and willalways be my guide sleep soundly....g2g....my dad just arrived and seriously i might loose all this if i donot hurry

C A N A D A EH! Without a doubt! Amazing people...food, land and variety. we have lots to offer. The States pale next to Canada. Why do you think they got their greedy paws on Alaska when they had the chance? To be closer to us! Bush is just a puppet...lol. Or perhaps a lawn ornament....lol. Cannot/does not even write his own speeches. And they call him a president. Our government is pretty pathetic too. But I am still a proud Canadian. Changes are coming....but sometimes it'd be nice to hit the fast forward.

Why do goodhearted people get rejected so much???
Posted: 7/5/2006 12:48:37 AM
Rejection is one way to see it. But....why punish yourself, you are making poor choices over and over again. Please learn from your past errors, Change your ways and spot the red flags as they go up. The rear view mirror is always clearer than that windshield in front of your face. Make no mistake here...I am warm, loving, giving and having a BLAST! I pray your choices become easier for you to make as well as see.
