Not interested? Make sure it's clear you are looking for friendship instead of something more. Not wanting anything? Don't use POF anymore til you are ready. Either way, if a woman doesn't understand that if you take those steps; there's something wrong there. We get pissy, it just happens. Honestly, be honest because we will respect you a lot ore for it later when maybe you are ready.

like everyone said, it means f-ing ugly. Not a nice term I know, but what can ya do? People come up with the weirdest words. I don't like talking on here to people either that don't have a pic. I like to see who I am talking to. You never know if it's a 50 year old guy/girl or older on here trying to get with the young ones. You always see that kinda stuff on Dr. Phil, or what have you.

Well there aren't any kids, but I'm friends with most of my exes. The breakup wasn't a bad one, so why hate him? It was a mutual breakup, and life was going in 2 different directions. It's not like I am the only one to ever stay friends with an ex. Yes I did mis-title my thread, and I'm sorry to all the decent men out there that find it offensive. I guess maybe he didn't get the memo about not trying to sleep with someone else when you have a gf. That chip is there for a reason, and it's not exactly easy to take it off, I don't have a stick up my ass, I just don't take kindly to people being arseholes to me for no reason as I imagine you would do the same. and I quite like the angry **** hat thanks. It's just says I won't tolerate yours or anyone elses crap. I am a very happy person in general, I guess I just don't get why SOME men act the way they do. and no, you guys didn't win anything.

no, I'm not still stuck on him... maybe guys should get over their damn ego trips. MEN ARE NOT god's gift to women. She why do they all think that? As far as I am concerned all men act the same, as long as they have a place to stick their****(real or fake) they're happy. Now go back to playing with your toys.

Okay, I have an ex, and we just recently started talking again on somewhat friendly terms. He is now with another woman and at the "I love you" stage with her. He keeps telling me he loves me too, and keeps trying to have sex with me, why is he doing this when he's got another woman at home? I make it plain that I'm not interested anymore yet he keeps trying...

personally, I've learned that if you were meant to be together, you wouldn't have split in the first place. You guys are exes for a reason... though you may not be sure of why; there still is some reason. Coming from a womans view... don't go there.

This is all what I thought. He said I was being paranoid... yada yada yada.. and I should trust him. I just thought that I should atleast have some proof before I say anything, because the best way other than messing around on someone to ruin a relationship, is to accuse them of messing around. but now I see that I'm not the only one who thinks this way. So I guess I'll see what happens.. what's the worst that could happen? I'm single again? Anyways, thank you all for your input. -Amber

I was fine with her coming over, just not the part where I had to leave... He said it would be awkward for him and her. There was another time I was at work and decided to come over after work. She had just left, I left the bed unmade, and when I got there, he was in the shower, candles were lit, and the bed was made. I could smell her perfume... which was gross I might add...

I started dating this guy who had been broken up from his ex for 6 months or so; and him and his ex were still on good terms(mutual split). They were friends and I was okay with that, then he told me he still loved her (as a friend) so he says. Is it weird that they talk everyday, and text back and forth more than 20x a day? Or the fact that when she comes over, he asks me to leave because it would be "awkward"? Shouldn't he be able to talk to her in front of me if something more wasn't going on? Am I wrong in thinking there's something wrong with this picture? His sex drive has even gone down a lot too... what do you think?
