Class action against Yahoo Personals and Match.com for fraud
Posted: 11/20/2005 12:08:19 PM | There is not one single doubt in my mind that this is true. I've had numerous dating sites send me winks, or whatever they use to show interest on that site, or emails...the minute you sign up to read them...they stop. In addition, the number of fraud or spam emails that I've received is astounding. I e-mailed the customer service at one when I got a spam email I had paid for a subscription to read, wanting my money back. Tough luck was the response that I got. Luck of the draw they tell me. I've also had numerous people begin emailing and then subsequently stop once I've subscribed.
Companies like match.com and ameriacansingles.com should be taken down and I hope that they are put out of business for these practices and if I ever meet one of the execs responsible for these practices I would probably spit in their face.  | | | |
