Poems Of Hope And Faith (Never Give Up)
Posted: 7/28/2005 1:11:37 PM
Glowing

I'm walking towards
the light of a new day,
I'm feeling a new life
under Your new rays.

I've finally figured out
there is a new way,
and I walk towards tomorrow
leaving behind yesterday.

I see a new light
as I look with new eyes,
It took a lifetime of lessons
to finally realize...

Wherever I'm going,
Wherever I'm roaming,
I'm glowing under
Your rays of Mercy,

and I'll never be the same.

Whatever I'm doing
Whether I'm winning or losing,
I'm glowing under
Your rays of Mercy,

and I'll never ever be the same again.

whats common to all religions as far as you know? or heard?
Posted: 6/30/2005 3:06:25 AM
I feel, that if there is a Master, a force that is responsible for the universe and everything around us, then it seems to me that most all religions have some grains of truth in them. Most, have captured just a little of the awesomeness of what the Creator is all about, but we don't get that we are all brothers and sisters, cut from the same cloth.

The Golden rule is the basic creed of how to treat one another, yet it is not just limited to Christianity. It is known, in different forms, throughout most of the religions.

Bahá'í World Faith:
"Ascribe not to any soul that which thou wouldst not have ascribed to thee, and say not that which thou doest not." "Blessed is he who preferreth his brother before himself." Baha'u'llah
"And if thine eyes be turned towards justice, choose thou for thy neighbour that which thou choosest for thyself." Epistle to the Son of the Wolf

Brahmanis m:
"This is the sum of duty: Do naught unto others which would cause you pain if done to you". Mahabharata, 5:1517

Christianity:
"Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them." Matthew 7:12
"...and don't do what you hate...", Gospel of Thomas 6

Confucianism:
"Do not do to others what you do not want them to do to you" Analects 15:23 "Tse-kung asked, 'Is there one word that can serve as a principle of conduct for life?' Confucius replied, 'It is the word 'shu' -- reciprocity. Do not impose on others what you yourself do not desire.'" Doctrine of the Mean 13.3

Hinduism:
"One should not behave towards others in a way which is disagreeable to oneself" Mencius Vii.A.4
"This is the sum of duty: do naught unto others which would cause you pain if done to you." Mahabharata 5:1517

Humanism:
"(5) Humanists acknowledge human interdependence, the need for mutual respect and the kinship of all humanity."
"(11) Humanists affirm that individual and social problems can only be resolved by means of human reason, intelligent effort, critical thinking joined with compassion and a spirit of empathy for all living beings. "

Islam:
"None of you [truly] believes until he wishes for his brother what he wishes for himself." Number 13 of Imam "Al-Nawawi's Forty Hadiths." 6

Jainism:
"Therefore, neither does he [, a sage,] cause violence to others nor does he make others do so." Acarangasutra 5.101-2.
"In happiness and suffering, in joy and grief, we should regard all creatures as we regard our own self." Lord Mahavira, 24th Tirthankara
"A man should wander about treating all creatures as he himself would be treated. "Sutrakritanga 1.11.33

Judaism:
"...thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.", Leviticus 19:18
"What is hateful to you, do not to your fellow man. This is the law: all the rest is commentary." Talmud, Shabbat 31a

Native American Spirituality:
"Respect for all life is the foundation." The Great Law of Peace

Roman Pagan Religion:
"The law imprinted on the hearts of all men is to love the
members of society as themselves."

Shinto:
"The heart of the person before you is a mirror. See there your own form"

Sikhism:
Compassion-mercy and religion are the support of the entire world". Japji Sahib "Don't create enmity with anyone as God is within everyone." Guru Arjan Devji 259
"No one is my enemy, none a stranger and everyone is my friend." Guru Arjan Dev : AG 1299

Sufism:
"The basis of Sufism is consideration of the hearts and feelings of others. If you haven't the will to gladden someone's heart, then at least beware lest you hurt someone's heart, for on our path, no sin exists but this." Dr. Javad Nurbakhsh, Master of the Nimatullahi Sufi Order.

Taoism:
"Regard your neighbor's gain as your own gain, and your neighbor's loss as your own loss." T'ai Shang Kan Ying P'ien. "I am good to the man who is good to me, likewise, I am also good to the bad man." Tao Te Ching

Unitarian:
"We affirm and promote respect for the interdependent of all existence of which we are a part." Unitarian principles.

Wicca:
"An it harm no one, do what thou wilt" (i.e. do what every you want to, as long as it harms nobody, including yourself). The Wiccan Rede

Your Life For Mine (Psalms 1-5)

I'm as a tree
at the banks of Your river,
bearing forth fruit the wildest winds
can never drive away.

I've broken free
from these chains of derision,
casting aside all the bands
that used to get in my way.

Hear me when I call
hear these words I pray.
Here I'll stand in awe,
and until my dying breath I'll say...

When You carry me
to new heights,
hold me in Your arms
and never let me go.

As I place Your life
above mine,
come inside my soul
and let my spirit shine.

Please let my spirit
shine all the time
because You sacrificed
Your life for mine.

Will the Christians be dissapointed when Armageddon dosnt go?
Posted: 6/27/2005 12:22:21 PM
I don't read all the threads, to be sure, but I haven't seen too many Christian messages here saying the end of the world is around the corner.

I do feel that with each generation comes discovery and advancement in science and technology. With each discovery, instead of making this a better world for all, nations are getting closer to blowing each other up. But I sure don't sit happily around, comparing notes and current body counts across the world, as you seem to make it out to be.

I'm sure there are people that do just that though. Every religion/non religion has their fanatics. but you are almost painting an entire religion with the same brush, you ought not to do that I think.

To me, I think the real question is why do you feel the need to continue to begin threads with an anti-Christian theme. why so intolerant? just wondering - it does seem like some times non-Christians post messages about Christians being intolerant, when in reality they are doing the exact thing that Chrisitans are being accused of.

And I Believe

I wake up,
with a sense of wonderment
at the way all of nature is connected,
one to the other.

Nestled in the
quiet slumber of an April afternoon,
I feel the renewing touch of the earth
beneath my feet.

Lifting my head,
I taste the sweet nectar
of a gentle shower, softly soothing
my parched lips.

Looking all around,
I see children playing hide and seek.
Singing out to each other, my heart listens
and I believe.

It's the song of freedom calling,
it's the song of respecting yourself.
It's the song of hope and faith,
it's the song of cleansing yourself.

It's the song of staying close
to your friends until the end.
To be there whe they fall,
and rejoice when the try again.

It's the song of holding on,
until the final act is complete.
It's the song of staying close
to every new friend you meet.

It's the song of dying happy,
after a lifetime of living free.
It's a song of a saving grace,
and it's a song that I believe.

The Evidence Of God (The Book Of Matthew)

Who is this before me,
glowing for everyone to see,
letting your spirit burn bright
like city lights at night,
for all the world to see.

Who is this before me,
glowing from within tonight?
You're the light of the world,
set on a wonderful hill,
whose light no one can hide.

Who is this before me,
glowing like fireflies in a park?
You're a living painting,
that He is stilll making,
you're a unique work of art.

Who is this before me,
glowing so alive and free?
He is helping you become
just who you want to be,
and that's beautiful to me.

(chorus)
Now I can see the evidence of God,
when I'm looking at you.
I can feel the evidence of God,
whenever I'm with you.
In every day, in every way,
his evidence is clear to see.
When I look at you,
I know I see the evidence of God.

One Life With You (The Book Of James)

There is something missing in the world today.
I guess I've wandered, and got lost on the way.
Like a flower burning in a scorching day,
that's losing its beauty and withering away.

Happy is whoever doesn't give in,
who lives by faith and remembers, when
life knocks you down and attacks you within,
let Him lift you back up and try once again.

You never said I'd love this life,
or be happy with my home.
The journey may be long, filled with wrongs,
You promised I'd never walk alone.

In these desperate days we're living,
life seemingly rushes towards forever.
If I can take each moment, with You at my side,
I can created a moment time will remember.

I know this life won't last forever.
I know the stars will stop shining on me.
But through my trials and tribulations,
one life with you is more than enough for me.

Calling Out Your Name

I knew the time would come
and you're in a better place,
and I thought I was prepared
for losing you.
But the reason why I feel empty,
is the reason why I'm blue.
You're not with me now,
and I feel so far away from you.

There's a healing breeze in
the pines of Carolina,
it stirs the shifting sands
along Kill Devil Hills.
It reminds me of your spirit,
and reaches my very soul,
it seems to call to me
and I guess it always will.

The purpose of life and death
can be a mystery.
Why do things happen
in just the ways they do.
Why do I only come to Him
in the times I feel alone,
when I've lost my way
and I feel so far from you.

In Christ, there is no loss
when one life ends.
His promise and His passion
becomes our gain.
So I'll put my trust and faith
in the one who shed His blood,
until I can see you again.
Until I'm with you again.

Where I hang my hat
is ever changing.
But your spirit and memory
inside me will remain.
Like some far off distant shore
I'm forever searching for,
The evening winds keep
calling out your name.

Poems Of Hope And Faith (Never Give Up)
Posted: 6/22/2005 2:16:49 AM
another poem written on the night of Sept 11, one of four that I wrote throughout the night.

When I'm With A Friend

I feel the pain
five hundred miles away.
I know the heartache
will one day go away.

I know
there's a brand new day
ready to begin.
I know we'll begin again,
when I'm with a friend.

I see a day
when all hate will cease.
We'll live in love,
tolerance and peace.

We'll join
hand in hand
and united we will stand.
We will stand again
when we're with a friend.

It starts with one
everlasting love.
A gift of Grace
sent here from above.

With His
Grace and Joy
we'll learn to live again.
I know that we can
when I'm with a friend.

Today I dream,
tomorrow I'll rejoice
when we can sing
with the power of one voice.

We'll sing
His songs of love
all across all lands.
I hear His songs,
when I'm with a friend.

I disagree with your friends in a certain aspect. I think poetry, like most of the arts, comes from the heart. It is the writer's way of expressing themselves, and sometimes it can be very deep, from the soul.

Maybe, like a fine work of art, or a beautiful piece of music, some well written words can help someone who are in a particular situation or state of mind. If just one person can benefit from reading a poem, it is worth it to post. You may not even know you are helping someone, he/she may not post a reply. But, from the hits on a thread, we can see that many people are reading these.

So, post away. It is helping someone, I assure you of that.

Hi sleep song!

Don't feel out of place at all, and please post any songs that you have written. You could create a new thread titled "songwriters thread" or add it to a theme already created. In my Poems of Faith and Hope thread, I have 3 songs I have written.

Here is one, and how I did it (this one is being considered by a local heavy metal band, as a rock ballad. can you believe it, I love it. lol!):

Free To Fly (from the Book of Psalms)

When I need compassion,
I run to You.
You give me the will and strength I need
to begin my life anew.

Each day's a different struggle,
I'm worn out from the pain.
You sooth the wounds with Your healing love
and I become alive again.

(bridge)

There's a power in the sunrise,
there's power in prayers released.
On the edge of my conviction,
I pray for those with the least.

(Chorus)

Thank you God, Thank you Lord.
Now I'm free to fly.
You're my shield, my armor my only hope.
You're the light that's in my eyes.

Thank you God, oh thank you Lord.
Now I'm free to fly.
I'll praise you with all that's in my heart
until the day I die.

Dreaming (The Book of Psalms)

Sleeping in a lonely corner
somewhere not so far from You.
I don’t need my eyes
to learn how to see,
I don’t need a light
to follow the truth.

Drifting through gilded pages
and enchanted regions of my dreams,
I’m sailing on a river
past forgotten palaces
With ivory columns
and worn, weathered beams.

You’ve taught me how to be humble,
there’s so much for me to regret.
You’ve taught me
to never stop yearning,
there’s more living
in store for me, yet.

You’ve taught me how to regret,
There’s so much for me to bear.
You’ve taught me
how to look further,
there’s so much
in life for me to care.

You reach me when I’m happy;
You comfort me when I’m sad.
You teach me
when I’m proud,
and calm me
when I’m mad.

I could live imprisoned by misery;
I could live, wild and free.
You’re everything
that lives inside me.
You’re the very
reason that I’m me.

I LOVE all types of music, for as long as I can remember. Some of my poems, I have been told, are almost lyrical in nature. Through a mutual friend, a couple local groups are looking at some of my poetry, to make into songs.

The Other Place

When you feel down,
He will feel down too.
When life lifts you up,
He will soar in the air with you.

When you need a friend,
He will be around,
You can find Him where ever
hope and faith can be found.

When you taste defeat
He will encourage you.
In your finest moment
He will celebrate with you.

I know a friend
who's just a heartbeat away
He's wanted to hear you
since your very first day.

Where ever you go
whatever you do,
you can find Him
at the Other Place inside of you.

Poems Of Hope And Faith (Never Give Up)
Posted: 6/20/2005 2:11:36 AM
I work at a bowling center, and love it. A co-worker and friend of mine, named Debra, has worked for years as the center's youth director. Her mother has worked for youth for many, many years. Last year, her mother passed away. For the next couple days, I would hear and see different conversations. A couple of people who had been youth bowlers talked with me, and this is the inspiration to the poem.

I framed it, and gave it to Debra and her sisters. It is a variation of Ray Boltz "Thank You".

Thank You (variation)

All throughout the day,
morning, noon and dawn
results of your lifetime works
are living proud and going strong.
Among some conversation,
someone called your name.
A young man walked to the counter,
and he was smiling as he came.

He said "You may not remember,
for I was only eight.
But I grew up poor in public housing,
and bowled right here on Saturdays.
I didn't have a future,
but Carolyn gave me a new start.
Youth bowling shaped my destiny,
because Jesus was in Carolyn's heart."

Another came up and said
"very early I lost my Mom and Dad.
Carolyn was a mentor, a teacher, a friend.
She became the mother I never had.
Sometime we shared a laugh,
other times I almost made her yell.
Carolyn was shaping young lives
like chicks breaking from their shells.".

He thanked you for your awareness,
your discipline and your fun.
Because of you, the old was cast away,
and a life of hope had just begun.
Carolyn, you didn't have much time,
but you gave it anyway.
He cherishes the gift Jesus gave him, through you,
and that's why he was here today.

He just wanted to say

thank you, Carolyn,
for giving to the Lord.
I am a life
that has been changed.
Thank you
for giving to the Lord
I am a soul that's been saved
and I am so glad you gave.

Poems Of Hope And Faith (Never Give Up)

North Carolina, (Morning, Noon and Night)

Carolina in the morning,
how you look
how you move me.
A new masterpiece
is created each new day.

It's your style, your grace,
it's your gentle breeze
kissing my face
that touches me
in so many ways.

Carolina in the afternoon,
showing off the gifts
that are beautiful.
This must be the place
that lovers go.

It's the sights, it's the sounds.
It's the love that's living
all around
that gives me just a glimpse
of the love You show.

I can't paint your beauty
with the words I use,
I can't express my love
with the phrases I choose,
There's no way I can possibly show
how I adore you so.

Carolina in the evening.
while one act ends,
another one begins.
Let nature's players
of the night rejoice.

They sing Your songs
in so many
different ways.
But if we are listening to their songs,
it's all one voice.

Poems Of Hope And Faith (Never Give Up)
Posted: 6/17/2005 3:39:58 AM
This poem deals with the greatest paradox of life -
how can there be pain and suffering if there is a God
great enough to do something about it? We may never
know the answer, but it is possible to rise above obstacles
with faith. If everything is taken away and we are left with
nothing but faith, our faith is enough.

The Answer Is You, (The book of Job)

Why should light be given
to those in the dark.
Why should joy ever be felt
by those who can't walk.

Why do dark clouds turn
our blue skies to gray.
Why do some have struggles
and get lost on the way.

Why does another sun seem to
shine on the rich and the poor.
Why does this world need You now
more than ever before.

When our days are filled
with heartache and strife,
a Father and Son can help you
through these times of our lives....

It's unbelievable,
the wonder of You.
It's unexplainable, how Your
mercy comes through.

There's no description for the
things that You do.
Undeniably l I know
the answer is You..

Living In This World

There's a homeless man
holding a sign.
He's just dreaming of a place
to fit in.
He's praying for some
ray of light,
to escape from the darkness
that lives within.

Chained by his own despair.
Imprisoned by his own doubt.
Shackled to bonds of uncertainty,
yet harboring visions of breaking out
and starting a new life
living in this world.

There's a lonely mother
holding a baby.
She's feeling so
very small.
She's praying that maybe
one day,
someone will hear her
single call.

She wants to stand up and be counted,
with the independant and the strong.
She's yearning to escape from her night time,
and create some sunlight out of her song,
and begin to start a new life
living in this world.

There's life in the Son,
there's life in the rain.
There's life in the faith and hopes
of another dreamer's name.

For the beauty of one brief prayer,
for the magic that is may bring.
For the beauty of all his creations,
and the majestic power of change,

changing the millions of others
living in this world.

The Storm And Child

Mornings can turn to darkness,
and follow you where ever you go.
Hardships make life a struggle,
Problems reach you from high and low.

The winds of this world seem harsh,
as they keep trying to toss you around.
They keep pushing against you,
turning your life upside down.

You can stumble through these trials,
and get lost along the way.
You're now a wanderer of the night,
never seeing the light of day.

You can climb the highest mountain,
or search the bottom of the sea.
The friend you needs always with you,
and He's waiting to set you free.

Sometimes he calms the storm
and settles the roughest seas.
When life has overcome you,
and driven you to your knees.

Sometimes he calms the child,
when happiness has been denied.
he comforts you in sorrow,
and restores the strength inside.

Sometimes he restores the light,
sometimes he touches you inside.
Sometimes he calms the storm,
and sometimes he calms the child.

I am not one of those fire and brimstoners (I just said STONER, lol!!) who think the Bible is letter for letter, word for word literal. I am researching right now, as a matter of fact, the possible connection with Atlantis, and the flood stories throughout the world.

Like I said, I would call myself a Christian, but a liberal one, more liberal than most I think. I am already familiar with Finklestein's work. I referenced Jericho in regards to Revelation and the use of the term "Lord of righteousness".

Now, let me go to bed, I need my beauty sleep!! (don't say anything, pal. lol!!!)

goodnight count, have a blessed day

it's 3am, forgive the Noah name. Jonah and the whale is a precursor to Jesus and the cave. There are many other stories in the Old testament that actually are references to the coming Messiah and Israel itself. The key theme - history repeating itself.

At 3 in the morning, they both look the same to me almost. Good night all.

Mithra or Jesus ?

Anyway, the only source we need is the Old Testament itself. So show me the context that tells you that Isaiah was talking about a prophet

oh, since you refuse to source your statements??? Okay...

Umm, just read Matthew 3:3 it clearly says that this is what Isaiah was talking about. Sources??????

You're kidding right? Okay, here are my sources: choose from any of them

Charles Spurgeon, Martin Luther, John Wesley, the author of the Book of Matthew.

and your sources saying Isaiah was NOT talking about a coming Messiah is.........what some fringe website or book with an anti-Christian agenda????

Please........

"In those days and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land. In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness."

yawn.

this is the 2nd time he will come back, as the anti-christ takes the blasphemous name of the Lord Of Righteousness. many of the Old Testament items are precursors to those of the New Testament. Noah and the whale, and Jesus in the cave

In this case, there are two events that use the Lord of Righteousness, the battle of Jericho and the battle in Revelation. The Battle of Jericho is a precursor to Revelation.

In Jericho, who fought the battle? It wasn't Joshua, it was a figure identifying himself with the burning bush 40 years earlier, the Spirit of the Lord:

Josh 6:13 A amn appeared nearby with a drawn sword. Joshua strode over to him and demanded "friend or foe" "I am the commander in chief of the Lord's Army" he replied. take off your shoes, for this is holy ground.

The opposing kings alligned themselves with someone called the Lord of Righteousness. The kings are defeated with signs and wonders in the sun and moon and hid in caves.

In Revelation, Jesus returns leading the Army of God, after first sending two witnesses. he defeats the army of the antichrist with signs and wonders in the sun and moon, and the defeated kings hide in caves (Revelation 6:15-16). This is what Joshua is all about too.

This technique, using old testament events and stories and reliving them in the New testament is used often and is one of the main themes of the bible, history repeating itself. If mankind makes the same mistakes in terms of not loving one another and not respecting each other, we are doomed to repeat the same mistakes in history.

There are over 300 prophecies about Jesus in the Old Testament, including his first appearance and his 2nd.

Mithra or Jesus ?

That really does not say anything about Jesus It could have been a King God was Speaking of. Who knows?

you mean Isiah prophecieing about John the Baptist paving the way for the Messiah. How do we know this was Jesus. Because when John the baptist baptized Jesus, Jesus told him He was the one.

Because matthew says he was the one Isiah prophecied about.

and biblical scholars all agree this the prophecy.

People have free will to choose to believe or not believe whatever they want, but when they are flat wrong about saying there are not prophecies in the Old Testament fulfilled by Christ, I have to take issue with that. that is going completely against biblical scholars, it is out there, fringe thinking. That is why I need SOURCES. State sources when making this claim, or trying to disprove a prophecy. So far, not a single source is given.....that does not suprise me.

Mithra or Jesus ?

Then Jesus didn't do a very good job of caring for his people. Didn't most (all?) of the Apostles face persecution and die horrible deaths

Your own words give strong suggestion that something miraculous happened, and this is the very heart of the matter right here.

Christians believe Jesus did the most that anyone can do for his people - he suffered the passion of the cross and took on the sins of the world, don't know how you can do more than that. Could you do it?

All of the apostles faced persecution count, and all of them except one died horrible deaths. Why? If the crucifixion did not happen, if the resurrection was a fake, if Jesus was a fake, why did they not recant what they were saying to save their lives. If they thought Jesus didn't do a good job of caring for them, they would of said so themselves.

Instead, they did just the opposite. They received the miracle of tongues at Pentecost, spread out and traveled, and were eyewitnesses to the events in the Bible. All of the apostles who died, to a man, would of had their lives spared if they recanted what they were saying.

Andrew was hung alive on a cross shaped in the letter X, where he exhorted to the entire countryside through his agony to be constant and faithful to the truth. The governing Council, seeing the masses of people gathering at his cross, sought to take him down. But Andrew would have none of it, crying out "O Jesus Christ, let not thine adversary loose him that is hung upon thine Grace."

This is written about beautifully by Flamion in Epitre Grecque

Count, not only did they die horrible and painful deaths, at times instead of recanting they insisted on it.

Mithra or Jesus ?

In other words, the writer of the New testament book of Matthew, is coming out and SAYING Isiah was talking about John the Baptist as the voice in the wildnerness, preparing the way for the coming Messiah. It is no more clearer than that... it needs not interpretation, no alignment, no juxtaposition.

You claim Isiah is not making prophecy about a coming Messiah......sources count, list em.

Isa. 40:3 says nothing about any messenger preceeding the Messiah. The whole chapter is about how God is going to make it wonderful to live in Jerusalem.

Yes, it does. This is a perfect example of how you are missing the prophecy. This is an old testament prophecy, which is verified by the book of Matthew. In fact, Matthew 3:3. says it:

Matthew 3:1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judea.
Matthew 3:2 And saying, Repent,ye, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Matthew 3:3 For this is he that was spoken by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of the one crying in the wilderness., prepare ye the ways of the Lord, make his paths straight.

sorry count, you are flat wrong. All those statements are prophetic, and make reference to a messiah to be fulfilled. You still have to list sources, because you are completely going against biblical mainstream thinking.....

sources, sources

Poems Of Hope And Faith (Never Give Up)

There's A Song (The Garden)

There's a song being sung in silence,
you can hear it in the night.
It's sung when a life falls short
and darkness overcomes the light.

There's a heart that beats with despair,
like an island in a stream.
It's battered by waves of an uncaring world
and being driven to its knees.

From one little garden bed,
given care and gently sown,
a miracle of life occurs
when a beautiful rose is grown.

Sometimes the world misses the miracle,
seeing just the dirt where it grew.
It ignores the newborn wonder,
so alive, fragrant and new.

When you look into a mirror,
do you like the image you see?
Is the reflection clear and strong
or blurred by doubt and hesitancy?

Can you see a human treasure?
Can you see a work of art?
Can you see a living masterpiece
formed by the hands of God?

Without love and attention,
beautiful flowers cannot grow.
So a song is being sung in silence
for a miracle the world will never know.

out of context according to who?

I posted some of the 60 prophecies and 270 ramifications fulfilled by Jesus. I'm still waiting for your answer that these are not valid, with your sources.

If you claim there are not prophecies in the Old Testament, and Jesus did not fulfill them, then source your claim please.
