Just Want To Be Friends First
Posted: 6/30/2008 11:32:37 AM
Yes that's the problem with a lot of these men. They hit on you the first few seconds you meet them.I don't dress in a way that would encourage them either. Is it my smiles?Maybe because I smile at everybody when I first meet them.As you can see I don't wear anything sexy.

Is Intelligence A Curse In Relationships?
Posted: 6/25/2008 12:02:29 AM
This could actually be called abuse especially when they can abuse you with their money by making you feel guilty in a very suttle way about you spending their money even if it's only for survival. They don't want your intelligence to show when you get a job.It makes them feel that you are trying to cover it.

What is it with these men that put in their profile that they just want to be friends first?Friends for how long? Two minutes or two seconds?Been going out and meeting these men and the first thing they want to do is get into your pants before they even know your name. What I decided to do is I take a pair of my panties and give it to them. What a laugh some of these men are.Where are all the grown ones.We see more little boys that have been abandoned then men.I know it comes from both sides but since I'm a female I had to put in my two cents.Come on men, some of you probably encountered the same thing,or is it just me?

What's the funniest thing that's ever happened to you?
Posted: 1/2/2008 12:26:31 PM
I went out for dinner for the first time with this guy.He asked me how my success in my business was.I meant to say to him "Well my success in the business wasn't as good as I wanted it to be."Well I had a slip of the tongue and said "My sex wasn't as good as I wanted it to be." If the tables weren't as tightly fit in this restaurant I would have slipped under the table after I realized what I said.He has never stopped teasing me about how red my face became.

Posted: 1/2/2008 11:27:19 AM
If you can't wear your dentures that means they don't fit you right.Go to a place where they are good at fitting them perfect.
Bad teeth are a turn off for me.I would rather go with a guy with dentures than bad teeth.

Which Bible verse is a lie?
Posted: 12/26/2007 12:21:29 PM
God did not write the bible man did.And Jesus did not give any quotes. He just stated things in parables. These parables were taken the way people wanted to take them.If they were truely spiritual then they used them the right way.

Which Bible verse is a lie?
Posted: 12/26/2007 12:00:08 PM
None of it is a lie as long as you don't take it literally. The problem with people is that they take the bible too literally. The bible was actually written in codes and symbols.Organized religions make it literal and threatening

Could you be wrong about your religion?
Posted: 10/2/2007 9:45:37 AM
Religion is man made.We are all spirits on this earth experiencing physical things to grow and get in touch with the highers being.Call him /her or Peanut Butter if you want to. This being came here as Jesus or Budha or whatever great masters to teach us the way and laws of the Universe. On this earth we are Spiritual Beings having a Human experience and in order to take it with us in Spirit we have to live the right way that our great teachers taught us.We are all wrong about our religions till we learn the Way and that is not the way people try to control us to become their slaves.Reincarnation is the way we are kept here. When we stop being reincarnated then we become free Spirits and can go into other dimensions whatever amount there is and be joined with God. The story of the crucifiction of Jesus is just the way to keep us here. There are ways to find the truth and one is to get to know ourselves first and think for ourselves and not let society do everything to control us.Listen to all the great teachers and let us experience what they tried to teach us. In religious matters only experience counts.Till you experience it don't believe it. Everything is Spiritual. Everything has its needs.Everything is made of atoms and has it's own personality. Try hugging a tree and see what feelings you get from it. Don't let people control you.Let them give you advice but only take it if it feels good.Believe that if you don't intentionally hurt anything you are GOOD.

Jesus the lost years.....
Posted: 10/2/2007 7:51:13 AM
Some of the lost years of Jesus was spent with the Essaei (Essenes). When his parents left Egypt they moved in with the Essenes. You will find out a lot if you read anything about the Dead Sea Scrolls. Not the whole truth because a lot of it hasn't been found and a lot has been distroyed by the Romans.Jesus didn't try to open a church. He tried to teach us how to find the way.The Roman Catholic Church was actually started by Paul who never knew Jesus.Paul was the one who started the forbidence of women not allowed in church without their head covered. Does that sound Budist? LOL

Raven66,
I'm sure you will be intersted in reading Memories,Dreams, and Reflections by C.G. Jung.It actually involves his biology. His father was a minister and he talks about God and his change of beliefs in Him which made him a Psycologist. His thinking was quite different.

I can't feed my pets anything that comes from a cow so the only things I can feed them is other meats with rice.I can't find anything with wheat that doesn't have beef or milk added to it.So it's quite possible that it is the wheat gluten in the food.I get the Presidents choice though. They both seem all right though.

Just a couple of warning. If you have diabetes you need to renew your drivers licence everyt year with a medical which will cost you $100.00 even if you've never had an accident or speeding ticket and a perfect driving record. Also your hospital insurance will not pay for an ambulance if you ever need one.The cost is $380.00 so far and it's going to go up.

I hate to tell you this but a lot of people moved here and are living in their cars because with the pay here they can't afford to pay the high rent they have to pay. This also causes a lot of crime too. When I first moved here the crime was very low.Now it's more than tripled.

Secret of life?
Posted: 3/4/2007 6:49:34 PM
I agree with you red rocks.Laughter and love is the secret.Appreciate what you have in life.Being lonely doesn't mean you're alone.Appreciate everything and love everything.Go hug a tree.It really feels good.Talk to your plants. It works. The only thing you can't count in life is the unexpected so welcome it.Loving anything can also heal. You don't have to have a person on your arm to be beautiful Self-respect will make you more beautiful.Other cover does not mean anything. It's what you have inside that counts.

Should I warn the new woman?
Posted: 2/22/2007 1:24:06 AM
I don't think it will help.Do you believe in psychic intuition?I have a story to prove to you it doesn't work to warn any body about it.Before my girl friend got married I never met her fiance so I invited them for dinner one night. All the time during dinner I had the feeling that this guy was an abuser,The next day I told her about the feeling I had but she still married him.He abused her for 17 years and because of my warning she hid the fact from me.If I didn't warn her she may have come to me for help. This guy made her lose 3 babies through miscarriage and the one that survived he abused and when she called the police he told a lie to them about how the boy got hurt and the police believed him and they took her to jail for one night so she never called the police again. She didn't know how to get help by herself.Because of my warning she thought she couldn't confide in me because she thought I would say "I told you so." That is the biggest mistake I made. When she finally confided in me she had injuries which she will suffer with all her life.

Balancing Your Male and Female Sides
Posted: 2/6/2007 11:40:03 PM
Woman consist of both masculine and feminine energies. Therefore, until a woman releases her concepts about male energy, she will not be in harmony with herself. When a woman understands both her male and female aspects and improve communication between them, thus creating harmony.

If a woman can master both her masculine and feminine aspects, there is nothing she cannot do. She will only be limited by how far she wishes to go. Women who reach this state of strength, self-confidence, balance, and power tend to see more of the whole picture of life. Among other things, they may begin to understand that one of their greatest blessings is the power of motherhood and the preservation of the family. Some may realize that they can best use their power and abilities to preserve the family rather than to enter the workplace and assume a typically male role. Of course, there is nothing wrong with taking either avenue.

It is the male's purpose to carry the strength of the family's group consciousness through the generations. This manifests as the custom of passing family names from father to son and of women taking their husbands' names. Similar customs are practiced in societies on other planets.

It is the female's purpose to provide the force of change. She broadens the family's group consciousness and therefore strengthens it. When a daughter marries, she steps away from one family unit and enters another family's group consciousness, broadening and strengthening it as she enters.

If a woman refuses to take her husband's last name or chooses to change her last name after she has taken her husband's name, it is an indication of imbalance.

Many people have the wrong concepts about male-female relationships.
A woman can have the self-confidence to stand on her own as her own individual being, separate from her husband. Yet in her recognition of the importance of family preservation, she may see the importance of having one identity, or name, for the family unit. Likewise, when a woman wears her husband's name, it is not her. But she can use the name to identify the group consciousness she is forming in her family. One family name strengthens the group consciousness of the family unit.

In any case, a name is only a temporary identity. Who you are as Soul will not change if your name changes. Nonetheless, names can be tools. For example, if you wish to release an old identity and take on a new one, you are free to change your name. I have come to realize that it doesn't matter what my name is or what people call me. I am who I am.
Inner harmonies in both people grow when both man and a woman accepts this.
A man also has to conciously learn to balance and accept his feminine side and let go of his ego just like a female has to do with his male side and let go of her male ego to make a relationship work.
This not only works in relationships but also helps us all to accept ourselves better and become better human beings.

Someone here advised that you friend could change the interior house to some extent to change the look and make it feel different.I know that is a good advice.Seeing everything the same way it was while her spouse was alive makes it hard. When I lost my husband I had lots of friends help me with that. They packed up all his things and took it to Goodwill. Some of them even made covering for the furniture and painted the rooms a different color. They even changed the flower gardens outside. They did it with my choice though.I was so lucky to have such great friends from the church.I couldn't appreciate them enough for that.Love and Light to you both.

All you can do is support her and tell her you'll be with her forever and that you love her. When she's ready she'll let go and then she cam live on.When I lost my husband it took me to years to let go.Some of us take longer and some take less time.Until she can let go herself it would be a waste of time for her to date.Sending you and your friend Love and Light.
