Could that possibly mean that you are banned from hosting events? And that is why you are unable to post an event thread? Oh I'd hate to think so! I've done 3 successful events each month now with the Christmas one being the fourth... I can't think of a reason to ban me, especially without warning or notice..? What happened last time was because I posted the same photo thread 3 times (cause I didn't think they were working due to not showing up in forum), so the "system" flagged me as a spammer...Puddles had to fix it and post my photo thread for me. I still haven't had a reply :(

^^^ i dunno but i cant help but think protesting on your profile isnt gonna help you, in fact i bet it would only hurt your cause You lost me...protesting? All I did was point event goers to my profile until this gets straightened out...was that wrong? How am I supposed to get the info out?

Avon Lady, In your profile, it states that you think your forum account has been banned. Did you receive an email from anyone stating so? I don't see how you were able to post here if it has. Also, are you emailing directly to the Event Moderator? Or to Marcus himself? (I know they are one in the same, but if it has to do with events, then you need to email to the Event Moderator account. This happened with my last event, (can post but not start a thread) when I contacted puddles, she said I was banned for "over posting"...posting the same thread a few times. (because it kept disappearing, I kept trying lol) She fixed it and my event was up no problem. Well, this is identical to the last event troubles...but this time I can't get any response from puddles, admin, event moderator, or markus. EDIT: I just went and looked at your history, and it seems you have hosted several events. With that being said, why are yours still having to be approved first through the event Moderator. I think there was probably a problem with your event, and that is why it was possibly pulled. I'm not sure, I do an event every month...I even had an event poll going for a few weeks and it just disappeared.... For one thing, my event hasn't been pulled, it never got posted to begin with :( I'm wondering if it has anything to do with my name change? I change it every month! Thanks for your help :)

I've posted many events where attendees share the expense and items involved :) I have someone volunteering their facility and charging per hay ride...but we have to "reserve" the space before someone else...which I've done. Now I just need to get people there! I do an event monthly and people are depending on seeing my forum post and I'm starting to panic....I don't like letting people down! And dude, it's a dollar per child for the hayride, fire, Santa visit, hot chocolate, and candy. lol All I'd like is an admin or mod to at least reply to my messages and tell me what I'm doing wrong....nothing different than the last 3 events...who, what, where, when, and how to get there :)

Hi Smiley....I think there are 5 of us on the list that have met before....big majority are strangers :) I'm trying to organize something every month or two, and with these comes some familiar faces but mostly new ones...and as we keep meeting, our circle of friends increase...and everyone is always welcomed warmly :)

dddiesel, did you ask for Lyndsay? She's the bar manager selling the tickets....(like I posted). No one else is having problems getting tickets...I'm sorry for your dilemma...Please call Lyndsay and speak with her personally if you're having ticket issues. There will not be tickets on sale at the door....Due to meal/prize/staff preparation, ticket cut off is the 26th.

lol excuse me? That was quite rude! We had 20 signed up a month before our prior one...we are assuming people are busy and cannot attend. 2 weeks is not much time to organize food and get a count. We can't even send out a mass invite until 20 people have signed up...and I do believe you owe Mr. Hart an apology...:modhammer:

****UPDATE*** Wow, we had another great turnout!!! My Grand daughter (almost 2) had a great time and was quite the little show stopper wrapping quite a few of you around her little finger lol THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP AND FUN GUYS & GALS!!! I'm currently having issues trying to get a new post started with our photos...I've emailed admin and when it's up and running, I will post another update here with the link. As promised Gail...you hit a ringer in horseshoes and your winning photo will be posted! lol Jeremy, Dennis and his friend brought along some guitars and a mandolin...great playing boys! Wow, we had a great turnout for our first social! Over 20 people attended and we had a great time...lots of food, lots of jokes, and great ideas for another Social next month!
