Would you date a pregnant woman?
Posted:

xaimos...a pregnant woman is another man's filth? Are you kidding me?!!! Your mother was pregnant at one time how dare you! Dating one is different, I personally would not date if I was pregnant but that was extremely disrespectful to every mother on the face of the planet including yours, which I assume you have one.

so annoying..why do people do this?
Posted:

I'm on the opposite side, I have done this. I loved that person but I was afraid of commitment after a 10 year marriage. Doesn't mean he doesn't care or love you. Sometimes people just have issues.

Very simply...we want what we can't have. I'm not religious but as one of my girlfriends said, it is the garden of eden. The forbiden apple. It's sad, feelings get hurt.

do young women lust after older men?? or is this a mith??
Posted:

It's not a myth...I date 10-15 years older typically and have no interest in someone younger. I prefer the maturity level. My ex husband was 17 years older than I, we were married for 10 years and he was extremely attractive. He's 50 and his girlfriend is 28 so see...

If someone thinks they gave you the best gift and you complain, how do you think that makes them feel? I hate silver, but one ex gave me a silver watch for x-mas. I hated it. I hate purple, and I was given an amethyst ring by someone else. I hate carnations and many years ago I was given a bouquet of ...you guessed it. So what. I just feigned suprise and put it away. What about girls that get NOTHING for valentines day? I don't want a Vermont Bear, don't get me wrong. I understand. However I try to appreciate anything that someone does for me.

Lying by Omission
Posted:
2/5/2009 8:02:55 AM
Some things are no one else's business. I never ask a question that I may not like the answer to, and kind of expect the same in return. I prefer the "I'm not going to answer that" as opposed to lying. Then again I'm too honest. I need to learn how to lie.

Why do we overlook the role sex plays in our relationships?

Wow. Way too much thought process., although I respect it. Bottom line, be with someone you love and have as much as you want.

How many men vs women have been stood up?
Posted:
1/30/2009 7:58:43 AM
Stood up for the first time last night, Karma's a B**** I would say, but I have NEVER stood someone up. Cancelled? Often. Pissed? Yes. To add insult to injury, a good friend passed away in a bizarre accident (her car was hit by a train on accident, beautiful 32 year old mother w/ a 6 year old daughter) and all her friends were getting together after the funeral for a few drinks in her honor. I skipped this part because of before mentioned "date". I don't care if you lie to me or make up a story, it takes 1 frigging minute to send a text!!! Only excuse I can think of after the fact is "a meteor hit my house". I have other things to do. Today I get txt w/ an apology and a promise to call later and explain. Not sure how I will handle it, but I will never let on that I am pissed, not worth it. I walk away with my head high, I don't lower myself to leaving nasty messages.

What's one thing you loved/love/miss about your ex?
Posted:
12/27/2008 8:57:18 AM
Hmmm made me think. After dating the last two, I miss being able t0 trust someone. I never saw him look at another woman, he always made me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world. And we could talk for hours...and laugh and laugh.
Don't miss...control, posessiveness, arguing, jealousy, doing everything myself, being treated like a child, clothes on the floor and the inability to finish anything. Unfortunately the bad just outweighed the good after 10 years. Love is not always enough.

What are the ingredients to a good relationship?
Posted:
12/27/2008 7:55:18 AM
When you have children, I think date night is so important. Or even if you don't. Sounds like a little thing, but I would fall in love all over again when my ex and I did that, even though we had many problems over 10 years. Maybe if we had made it a priority it would have lasted.

Mourning a Loved One
Posted:
12/26/2008 8:23:24 AM
Why should someone else tell you how to mourn? Sounds a little controlling to me. Sorry for your loss. My ex husband lost his mother on the 4th of July, so we went to her grave w/ flowers every 4th for 10 years. Was it what I wanted to do? No, especially since it is one of my favorite holidays... but when you love someone you support them and respect their choices. Perhaps she just wants to go out New Years Eve and resents staying at home? If so, tell her to go out w/ her friends and do what you choose. Personally I wouldn't leave you alone, but to each his own. It's all about comprimise.

Is it ever ok to exchange numbers with an attractive person, when exclusive with someone else?
Posted:
12/25/2008 3:01:50 PM
It is so relative to the people involved. I have business dinners all the time w/ men, I work in a man's world so I don't think twice about giving out my business card regardless of what they look like even when I was married. If he happens to be hot, so what. The difference is what you intend to do.

credit and dating

Credit rating? If someone asked for my SS and DOB I would run! However, I agree...why is the credit bad? I've had A+ and things have changed beyond the boundaries of my control. Does that change me as a person? NO! And divorce is expensive and ruins alot of credit ratings.

Wow. I wish I could get off from oral. That's like making out to me. Get on top. If you are getting off from oral, I would suggest a vibrator on your c***oris (outside) while you are on top since that apparently is your most sensitive area. Trust me, it will work. Have fun =)

Sorry. You are being selfish. Stay out of it and let him deal with it. He should be there and then get a DNA. Part of a healthy relationship is not telling someone what to do.

Almost a Pretty Woman scenario...
Posted:
12/25/2008 10:23:30 AM
I can only speak from personal experience. I was raised in foster care and bounced around but became a very successful woman. I was married for 10 years to someone 17 years older. So what? Things didn't work out for various reasons, but that pitter patter was worth it. Since when does age matter unless it's under 18? Just because someone had a bad background doesn't stop the world. Sure, he had to explain some things to me when I was 23, lol. But I learned and I grew and consider him one of my best friends. There are many more things to consider, but the points you mentioned to me are not really valid unless you just can't stand talking to her.
