for me, time seems to be the healer of wounds such as these. don't turn to substances that numb your senses/feelings for you need them more now than before. sharing with a confident helps big time. try focusing your energy else where. i understand what it's like for ya, it's been a few years and i'm still burning in love. most times it just sneaks up on me and floors me. weekends alone have to be the worst, nothing but time. constant reminders of what it was like to be significant to someone. pouring your feelings out are the best i can offer to ya......good luck!!!

yea....I've tried to chat too them also..ya know, try to make the first contact. about ten times(you know who you are) to different women. and always got the cold shoulder(as much as out there in the real world). THEN ...... i started to take part in the forums, reading, responding, to threads. I'm not saying that I'm a big stud now but the e:mails are starting to come in and most of them are quite pleasing. for the most part....they wanna know more or wtf i was thinking...either way. let them know what ya think and they will come.

sounds corny but it was the best b-day present i ever got!!..... i was working in a pub and i lived above it. i worked there for a five years. the first time i celebrated my birthday there, i never told anyone it was that day. anyways, worked the whole night thru with out a hitch......when i closed up and went thru to the lobby to go to bed............the whole staff/ a few regulars 'barflys' singing 'happy birthday' to me and i mean it was like thirty people there and a message from my mother wishing me a happy birthday(that's how they found out). well...i was overcome with emotion and started bawling like a ten year old! .....you know..... tears running down my face, my nose starts to run...tissue please..honk "group hug" what made it special (to me) i didn't expect them to know.....i didn't want special treatment from anyone and just have a regular working day with out interruptions. i was very focused on doing my jobs. as i only had been there three months.
