Is there such a thing as being too understanding?

You know what.....If you felt like being nice and understanding because you are, then great. But if you were being nice an understanding because you were worried about what she might think of you, then YES, that's "too understanding".
Just be yourself and own it. Confidence is sexy.
Happy Valentine's day to you too!

How did you come up with your screen name?

I was sitting at my desk and decided to give POF another try. I had a "got2b" product sitting in front of me. "got2bme" was taken, so I added always!
Its not my most suiting screen name but it works :)

Music and Feelings

I love music. I enjoy all kinds to which I have been exposed, with one exclusion. I do not enjoy listening to music that has lyrics eluding to raunchy whorish behavior or murderous encounters. It makes me feel yucky.
Music can change my mood in an instant. I even use it to change my mood.
I know that every time I listen to "New Shoes" by Pauola Nutini; I will smile and sing along as I bounce my foot to the beat.
I also know that whenever I listen to "We just disagree" by Dave Mason; I will think of my last love and smile and know that I am not alone.
Lately I have been enjoying Paramore. They have lots of great songs and I love the depth that the singer brings to her lyrics.
Music can be a way to express yourself; a way to relate to others; a way to bring closure or sort things out.
I am so thankful for all the musicians who share their art with me.
Rock on!

A couple of times I have forgotten my age.....did a lil math...figured it out..LOL
But no...I never lie, my memory sucks so I can't even if I wanted to!
But even if I wanted to lie, it wouldn't be about my age...thats dumb.

Ever date someone with BPD? (Borderline Personality Disorder)

Please keep in mind that all of the experiences of those that have responded to your question are just that; varied experiences of other people. ( i know that is exactly what you asked for)
I thought I would mention that counseling is a good coping method option. Learning from reputable websites and books is another idea.
Borderline Personality Disorder is basically an emotion regulation issue. It doesn't mean that you can't get to know the person you are dating, and it doesn't mean that they have multiple personalities.
All the emotions that the average person would feel in any given situation will be felt by the borderline as well, only 10x stronger. This can also vary if the borderline suffers other mental illness, which is usually the case.
The borderline is a person though, and a unique person too! It will take a certain kind of person to mesh well with someone on such an emotional roller coaster.
Imagine what it feels like to be "triggered" into a fit of rage when someone inadvertently hurts your irrational feelings. It's really more sad than funny.
The way it turns out just depends on what you put in.
In my situation, had I been more knowledgeable about the illness while in the relationship, it may have ended nicer. Instead there are hurt feelings, unanswered questions, regrets and empty promises.
Good Luck to you.
Thanks for reading my two cents :)
