Well thank you Addictable. I recently have been dating a guy that is '6 9'. I love the difference in our hieght, mainly because I am 5 10', and we get along great. But he makes me doubt his feelings for me and keeps me confused a lot of the time. I know I'm not in love but your descrption of infatuation has opened my eyes to why I am feeling the way I do right now.

I can not waite until Wednesday every stinking week. Damn that show LOST, why does it have to be so good. I'm hooked for sure. What the hell is that guy from the stadium doing in the hatch? That is the same guy right? Uhg, the song, anticipation, is running through my already running mind. Oh well only 2 days until my next fix, jk, or am I??? Well vancityqt I really have nothing bad to say about your profile. You state what you are looking for and what you aren't looking for, that's a plus. You might elaborate on the first date, give the guys an idea of what you think is a good time, that's another way for them to find common ground with you. I had this guy email me over and over and i didnt respond for a few reasons #1 His screen name was Mein Kamp, um Im not into guys who have a deep respect for Hitler. #2 He had no pic, I never reply to people with no pics. #3 He was a bit to short for me, Im a tall girl So anyway after not answering his emails for a week he writes to me with the subject line of "f*cking kids". He goes on to say that he didnt realize I had a daughter (she is in two of my pics and I clearly state on my profile that I am a Mommy). He goes on to cuss me out and say many nasty things about single Mom's. Guess I really missed out, huh!!!

Holy crap, so what does that make singel dad's, lost men? I guess you think abortion should be mandatory if the dad chooses to be a worthless pile of crap and leave. Or better yet why not get rid of the kid/kids of the current boyfriend doesn't want them. I do feel it is a choice whether or not to date a woman with children, because it is a big deal. I don't feel I am being harsh in saying what is on my mind. It isn't right for people to judge or stereotype single parent's. We are people just like everyoneelse. Having a child doesn't automatically put someone in a certain category of human. It just erks me that someone puts up the discussion of "why he wouldn't date a single mom" on a single parents forum. He is just asking for a firestorm of discontent.

thank you sweetdad. I am so tired of people labeling "single mothers" like we are our own breed or something. i am human, like to have fun and am not ashamed of my daughter and any a s s hole who thinks they can judge someone because they have kids has another thing comming. Personally i do not have a problem getting a date, never have. My motherhood hasnt haltered my social life because i havnt let it. I am still me, funny, outgoing and just plain fun to hang out with. So i am proud to be who and what i am, A SINGEL MOMMA!!!!

cpupro, I have had the bad experience of having a boyfriend whom i think would agree with your selfish way of thinking. Being with him was like having 2 kids instead of one. So i think you are doing yourself and whoever gets stuck with you a big favor. Take your childish behavior and find someone who is as self centered as you are and have a great life pleasing #1.

Well Dolphin my best advice is be extremely patient with him when putting him to bed. Speak in a soft, calm voice, because if you get upset or irritated then he will as wel. Children are very intuned to what Mommy is thinking and feeling. My daughter still sneeks into bed with me. Every once and awhile she will stay in her bed and when she does i praise her and tell her how proud i am of her. I really think she will grow out of it soon. But until then I am just going to enjoy her being 4 because before I know it she will be 14 and not wanting to have anything to do with me.
