Well in my past relationships, I've always had more money and 95% of the time paid for everything, not just half. I actually feel bad if the guy picks up the full tab. I think it just may because I'm not used to it.

I don't have my own place yet, but I always drive, it's almost a rule of mine. I just love driving and I have a nice car. Plus I just feel more comfortable behind the wheel.

As for the whole problem solving thing, I do generally like to solve things on my own first, but I'm always open to suggestions. I think its great that you have hope.But you really should research Obama more, if you think he is concerned about you or your relations you are greatly mistaken unless you happen to be part of the Black Community...the only changes that we will see is more affirmative action,reparations to African Americans, more scholarships to minority students , more funding for inner city schools, more financial aid to Africa,lighter sentencing for criminals,amnesty for the millions of illegals, a North American union,ban on firearms etc...these are all things that he has tried to accomplish throughout his political career.

Ok, let's be honest here. You are "head over heals" for this guy and aren't going to leave him for any reason, let alone over the advice from some random people on the internet. Someone could give you a recorded conversation of him saying all those things about you to his friends and you would still let it slide. Why? Because you want to believe he is the real deal. He has money. He tells you what you want to hear and you believe him regardless. How is anyone here going to change that?

The bottom line is, you are going to ignore red flag after red flag until he does something that even you won't be able to forgive. Sometimes you just have to learn the hard way.

I have been with a independent woman who became clingy, and an extremely independent woman who was so independent that she only called me basically when she wanted sex or was otherwise bored.

I don't get how he "used" you for sex. Didn't you enjoy it? Didn't you get pleasure from it? And if not, then why did you do it? It seems you are forgetting that sex is a two way street and women get as much pleasure from it as men! Clearly you barely knew the guy so how could you have any expectations other than pleasure. In my 20s I slept with many women the first time I met them - realistically if I hadn't then I probably never would have. I didn't think any the worse of them for that -quite the opposite.
