I would contact someone on POF if I felt very lonely, which I do alot.. But also haven't met anyone close to being good for me so far..

curious, what are terrified of about travelling alone? Look at it as an adventure to unfold... I have been to New York... And if I had the money I'd be on a airplane quick, let me tell you..I have waited in the past for people to travel with and sometimes they are not available to travel.. If I had the opportunity like you to go to New York.. You better believe I would go and enjoy Dr. Oz's television show.. Also you have to remember that other people travel alone as well even though they are frightened and if you get to see Dr. Oz's show, I guarantee you that there will be other ladies in the audience who are alone as well.. You might just make some new friends on your journey.. Do miss out on the opportunity to discover that you can actually enjoy yourself travelling alone..

Interesting destinations, not my first choices though, I was thinking more along the lines of, Florida, California, Las Vegas, Nevada, Australia, New Zealand, wherever else..

Are you getting away this winter, travelling to somewhere interesting, and possibly warmer than Nova Scotia? I don't want to stay another cold season here if I can help it.. My neighbours went away to Florida for the duration of the winter, they are very smart.. I definitely want to go away when I can, not sure exactly where yet though! What have your travelling experiences been with November or December getaways?

My neighbours went to Florida for the winter, they are very intelligent- it is too cold in Canada; and they go away for 6 months every year; I really want to go away, I hate the job I have and am pretty stressed; so when I can I hope to travel somewhere with beautiful warmer climate! Wish me success..

I like younger men, haven't found one right for me yet.. Alot of them lack the maturity to appreciate an older woman..They are looking for sex alot of the time, and forget about treating a woman with the respect that she deserves!

When I see couples out there, I know that things are not always as good as they look.. You listen to people's conversations sometimes and they are arguing with each other.. I feel blessed that I am not involved with anyone then.. Relationships come and go, in a person's lifetime.. I would rather have good friends, then have to worry about compatibility with someone else..!

I've been on here for over 2 years, I haven't dated anyone, have met a few people that's about it; nothing became of the meetings though; I just never met anyone right for me.. That happens, it is part of reality.. I enjoy talking with people on the forums, the interaction is interesting..!

I find that alot of restaurants are expensive; everytime I've gone to one, including MC Donald's, Wendy's, any of them, I feel ripped off, I believe that they are all overpriced, as well the food is always undercooked; especially any type of burger or meat products.. There is no good deal for a meal that I have experienced yet..

It would be refreshing if smokers would step away, and be considerate when they are smoking near non smokers who are breathing in, the smoke.. How about that.. if they don't then I just move away from them; I want to be healthy and not have to breathe in the nicotine and other toxic poisons, chemicals in cigarettes; If someone is smoking near me, I tell them the smoke bothers me; or I simply walk away from them..

If a gentleman or lady is interested in a person, than you don't need to wait 3 days to contact them, I'd say contact them whenever you want.. If they are interested in you, then they would be very happy to hear from you..

Go to the shade if you can find any... Walking or jogging in the heat, is unhealthy for anyone.. Also drink water, not too much, in moderation to prevent you from becoming dehydrated..!

I wouldn't look for a first date, right away, I would get to know the gentleman first, and see if we are even attracted to each other.. Maybe start as friends first and make sure we have the same interests.. When I was younger, I tried dating, well I wasn't very successful at it, so friendship seems to be the wiser route to go..

I am not a New Yorker, but hope to travel to NY again someday... I feel that if a person is seperated they are not single; they are still in most cases legally married, even if they are not living with the other person;, so they can't legally say they are single; I don't like it when I get these ignornant men messaging me saying they are single, when they are actually just divorced and therefore can not pretend that they have lived a life of a single person- when in fact they were married and are seperated or divorced.. That really makes me angry..! I have never been married and have no interest in marriage...! Dating or friends is fine, but that's all I want..!

Hello, I found $20 when I was out for a walk it was laying on the grass out flat, it looked like someone put it there to be found.. The person who put it there I think wanted someone in need to find the money, and I fortunately was the right person because I really needed the money, and I feel blessed and fortuate to be walking by at just the right time..!

Most of the men, not all, but majority of them seem to want to pursue me for sex, they are pretty ugly to me if this is what they want! I have had alot of men, give me their telephone numbers right away, or their email addresses, or ask me to meet them too soon, it is a real turn off to me, I am not interested in talking to these men in this way at all; If men come on too fast, I back away from them and do not want anything to do with them;

Just because some older women like younger men, doesn't mean they are going to have sex with them.. Any younger guy that feels that way is a moron! I value friendship first with anyone I meet, and I take it from there, if we are compatible, I get to know the person and see if we have any kind of a future together..! Yes I guess I would be called a cougar or tigress, I do like some of the younger guys; I didn't have much success in high school with the guys, so I am trying to catch up now, and see what is out there, for worthwhile companionship, Somebody with manners, or who I can teach good manners to anyway, that is not cheap, and looks sexy when they are out with me!
