anyone have any special tips for drying exotic fruit? I have a new dehydrater and would like to dry kiwi and pineapple all the pineapple I see in the store is too sweet I am diabetic so help me out please thanks

Hello everyone I have been gone for a while and say hello to everyone.I got a food dryer for christmas and wish to make chicken jerky also fish jerky any ideas I like spicy.I also need any yougart ideas gonna try that also thanks for the help fishes.

i stuff mine with good old stuffing add anything you want to your stuffing then bake till done i also add garlic cloves and will baste it in soy some it is good that way.

i have a bamboo steamer and i line mine with lemons and limes and a bit of fresh dill it is very good and healthy this way.

i love anything unusual i have eaten kimchi for years and years i love it the best is it smells so bad most people wont even try it so more for me well i want to make it and have the recipe but what i need to know is can i put it in a mason jar while it ferments or do i store it in a terracotta crock for best results help me also if you have any recipes for it tell me canning time is near so lets get started now!!!!

store jerky in something that air can circulate in or it will give moisture back to the jerky no plastic bags, tupperwear or glass is better or a mason type jar with a screw top lid

well glad to read your thoughts i do enjoy the show alot who do you think will win?your probably right about alot of chefs acting like stephan but i feel like when you loose your heart for cooking your food dosent taste the same understand what I mean? I felt like he just suited for this type of show he looks at everyone like they are stupid

the crying guy is dave yes i agree he is emotional but has come a long way to where he is now did you hear what stephan said at the end how he was going to be better than anyone ever before anyone he said he is arrogant and if he ran the front of the place i was eating in i wouldnt feel welcome he is talented but not in my opion a top chef he thinks his way is the only way and he also delegates to others too much rather than showing his cooking talents

well tonite was a good one they had to serve a party for ted allen and each chose a course after they shopped and planned their menu the head chef came in and made them change courses with everyone it was ok but miquel mistakeningly put salt in for sugar in the sorbet' and it was a disaster but it was Andrea in the end she just didnt CUT IT lol....I hope LeeAnn wins who do you like?
