Sorry to piss everyone off...but I thought some people would be a little sympathic. It's been a miserable 25 years. I just get very mad when people put me down...people have been doing that since in was five...and after 38 years you get to point you can't take it anymore.

This town is a shithole....750,000 and we have had 15 murders this year...driveby shootings....single moms being beaten to death...stabbing and shooting at the nightclubs, cab drivers getting killed by 14 year old kids speeding in stolen SUVs....half the people live below the poverty line....half the homes in this city are 80 to 100 years old. Drugs are rampent....you can make $10,000 to $30,000 a month selling crack in this city. Last night our dispatcher warns us as we are waiting outside the most popular nightclub in the city....be careful police are chasing a van....there's 10 police cars racing around the club...then some punk kid gets in my cab and says,"Wait a few minutes bro...my homeboy is coming." Punk kid and homeboy need five in the eye!

You can take a bus from my home anyday and go downtown and see some guy urinating or shitting on the street at 2 pm.

And to top it off some 16 girl from the res that I picked up didn't think she should pay for the fare to take her to some guy's apartment at 4 am...by the way I picked her up from her aunt and uncle's home in an upper middle class neighbourhood. Sent the cops over there and her uncle and aunt didn't think they should be responsible for what their niece does.

I'm just tried of the crap...there are days where I ask myself ...Why the hell was I born for....what the hell did I do to deserve this miserable life.

As the G'n'R song goes...Axl Rose remember..."Take me down to the Paradise City, where the grass in green and the girls are pretty."

One woman a last year who was a few years older than me said, "Your much like my son." And another that I drove home from a casino one night asked me if I was a college student.

Ok what I should have said in my profile was I'm a 43 year old man who has the relationship experience, and life experience of a 23 year old and I want to progress from there and start dating women with the same experiences and level of maturity. We can go to the beach and play volleyball, perhaps go skiing, get serious and move into a one bedroom apartment and save money for something better and in 4 to 5 years we can get married and start a family and have kids for the next 15 to 20 years. Bassically I want to do and experience the life I didn't have over the past 20 years. I want to like the bigman on canpus....the cute hot guy.

As for blowing up tAmerica it's doing a job of blowing itself up. 10 years ago I said there are extreme comparisions between the Roman Empire and The US Empire. Bush looks like Rome's Nero...and if Obama gets elected and then some white surpermist nutjob gots out an assinates him....of boy you think the riots in Watts in 1965 or after the LAPD, Rodney King thing were something. I said the USA is headed for another civil war 10 years ago....and well...look what's going on.

No my point I'm trying to change North america back to the way it should be...when the first white people to the new land. We should all go back to living like the Quakers, and the Pilgrims that arrived here in 1620. That's what North America is about Wholesome God Fearing people who live with high moral standard, grow their own food, work in a community and Toss out Heathens. If you had a child out of wedlock in a Quaker community you were tossed out....you are of the community.

My obsession with BYU Cheerleaders? Birth Control is wrong and mormons always have big fanilies. We need to go back the days of my ancestors. My last known relatives had 13 children. Vermont 1788. Vermont til this day wants to separate from the union. The Green Mountain Boys.

And Lethbridge is a hugh Mormon community. 5% Catholic, 15% Dutch Reform. Most Dutch Reform people don't have TV's or Radios. They are much like the Amish. Cardston, Alberta just South of Lethbridge has the largest Mormon Temple outside of Salt Lake City. They don't sell booze in the hockey rink down there either.

They don't look at my profile either...but I did lose 40 pounds over the past 3 years. Grow a gottee, buy a motorcycle, spike your hair, get an earring, and be outrageous...women love that stuff. And remember dating sites only work for 15% of the people who join them.

First of all my 15 pregnant girlfriend was 21 when I dated her...she was pregnant from some other guy in high school...not doing that.

I grew in poverty and after years of failure and frustration at 31 I became and old fashioned communist union leader. I was going to change the world...I was going to be the Canadian answer to Ho Chi Ming. I went to college in Southern Alberta. 75% of the people in Lethbridge are Mormons...I said I like these old fashion morals values...so out of all this I developed Extreme Leftwing economic values with really rightwing social values...think of it as Billy Graham, Preston Manning or the Pope in charge of the Teamsters Union. Or very Irish Catholic or South America Catholic....Christians believe the meek will inherit the earth...the communists believe we should take it. The Pope actually released the 7 new deadly sins a few weeks ago....I'm with him on all of them...Brith Control and Extreme Wealth were high on my lists of those 7 deadly sins.

My artist friend is Irish Catholic...he is also a member of the IRA.

You don't have to rich, great looking or anything to have what i want...my 48 year old friend is bald, wears a do-rag, drives a motorcycle, has a beerbelly, is a welder, rents a house...and his girlfriend of 3 years is this cute 25 year old.

All those supposely rich, wealthy, goodlooking, famous, men....really only have one thing in common they are all badboys. Marilyn Manson ain't goodlooking and his girlfriend is 20 years younger than him...and Alice Cooper was in the paper today with beautiful wife and this 20 year old daughter...he was nevergoodlooking and isn't Alice in his 60s?

My close friend, who is 2 weeks younger than me, is working on his acting career, has in some big Hollywood productions over the last few months with some big stars, he has now regularly partispates at the local community church and is now dating a very younger Mennonite girl.

Like I've said before I'm looking for a BYU college football cheerleader...perhaps we'll have a couple of kids before she graduates from college.

Do you want to know where I spent my youth? Playing in Heavy Metal rock bands, drinking, kicking out headlights of BMWs, ripping off mirrors of cadillacs. The movie "Sid and Nancy" about Sid Vicious and the Sex Pistols had a hugh impact on me. The scene where the poor kids in the London getto jump on the expensive car and smash it with field hockey sticks was very important. Plus Sid had a picture of Che on his leather jacket.

I'll tell you a story too. When I found out my first girlfriend was pregnant at 15 I dumped her ass. You see there was a person in the Renaissance let me...his name was King Henry VIII....I not dating someone woman that hasn't saved herself for me.

No I don't need professional help. After all the crap I've been through in my life. I'm entitled to have everything I want. I deserve it. I've paid my dues over the last 20 years and now it's payback. I don't take second best and I don't share women with inferior men.

Well I've had what you call professional help....and you what they told me...I'm perfectly normal....not much what I can say about so of the people on POF. I'm a child of the 80s. And a relationship councillor that was on some dating show a couple of weeks ago said the 80s were about two things either going the way Madonna and the rest those group wanted to go or to back to living like in the 1950s...I'm in the 1950s group...no sex before marriage, no divorce, no children out of wedlock, no birth control, etc. So any woman that I was going to date has to be pure, snow white like...no tramps for me. You got kids? You have a father of those kids you should be with...leave me alone. I'm more 1750s...like my ancestors who came from a place that is now in Switzerland. They were Pennslyvania Dutch. They became the Mennonites, the Quakers, and the Amish.

But as a child of the 80s I was a rebel...Guns'n'Roses, Motley Crue, etc were my father fiqures...Axl Rose and I are very similar....and isn't 46 year old Axl dating some hot young Ukrainian model? My attitude? Well I'm going to become great enough to have some hot little butt with perky boobs in my bed too...just like Tommy Lee, Axl, Bret Micheals, Donald Trump etc.

I'm not child molester...I just like hot young, snow white, women. I want my own Katie Holmes.

Much like Rembrandt...I'm developed my own ego...I paint a lot like Reubens or Carravaggio...and much like my friend a lifelong painter in his 60s said, "The problem with you is your arrogant and full of yourself...You'll be a famous artist." I just grinned.

I think I met the girl of my dreams last night...I drive her home from some friends house...early 20s...thin cute redhead...we talk about art all the way from here friend's house about 20 minutes...then I showwed her some of my paintings. There was this picture I painted of this half nude pregnant woman. She said women look the best when they are pregnant...women were made to have babies. What young art fanatic girl who believes women should be baredfoot and pregnant?

Nine weeks left driving cab...then two months at the beach painting landscapes with this government grant...what next..probably Montreal an artist's loft and good old fashioned Catholic French Canadian girls....remember Celine Dion?

I'm not crazy...I'm insane.

When I was child there was Warhol....now there's me.

18 year old girl marries a 40 year old man?
Posted: 5/10/2008 6:47:53 AM
As a 43 year old I got lots of women in their 40s and 30s that want to go out with me, however I'm looking for someone to have children with for the next 20 years. I've always said find me a great looking 35 year old that we can have together til she's in her mid-50s and I'll go on a date with her. As I said in my profile...I've been looking for this woman for 20 years. Basically, she's a BYU college football cheerleader. 85% of the players on the BYU football team are married. Maybe me and this woman would have a couple of kids before she graduates from college. She's a little bit country, I'm a little bit rock'n'roll. I miss the Donny And Marie Show...How many Osmond brothers were there?

Maybe the 40 year old in question is a lot like me. Has been waiting all his life to have a family of his own.

Humphery Bogart became a father for the first time at 49 with 24 year old Lauren Bacall. I don't think Bogey was immature, probably extremely wise and much beyond the stature of most males. Charlie Chaplin and his wife had 8 children. Charlie married his wife when he was 54 and she was 18.

The eccentric Types........?
Posted: 5/9/2008 8:09:13 PM
I admit I'm eccentric. One of my best friend has called me a genius...maybe he's right when it comes down to the projects I tackle and the things I'm into. Now Einstein and those types are and were called genius, but most of them are and were very eccentric. The eccentric types usually have different or increased brain activity, or those eccentric artist, writers, musicians, etc have and increased functioning of their creative side of their brains. Many would be considered in our society as having mental illness. Depression, Bi-Polar, Autistic, etc...Bill Gates has Asburger's....which is a form of Autisism. Vince Lombardi the genius football coach was Bi-Polar.

Many, many of history's great people were eccentric or had what we call today mental illness. Lincoln was Bi-Polar.

The eccentric just think a l;ttle different than others and are not afraid to be different...the don't fit into the box because they find the box restrictive.

18 year old girl marries a 40 year old man?
Posted: 5/9/2008 7:45:53 PM
Most the time in these relationships it's the woman's maturity level not the man's that's in question. Generally these relationships happen because the woman is well beyond her years and wants a relationship with someone on the same imtellectual level. 22 year old men can keep telling these women how great their boobs are...but these women want good conversation and mental stimulation.

It happen the other night in my cab...I picked up a young couple from a resturant/lounge...He kept saying, "Isn't she hot!!!!"....the young women on the other hand kept pushing him away as he was trying to make out in the back seat...and seemed much more interested in talking to me about 70s and 80s rock music. One night I drove a young waitress home and we talked about a show on I saw that night about the Iranian Embasy Hostage Taking. We got into the discussing the what has been going on in the Middle East over the past 50 years and I filled her in on the Hostage Taking, where the yellow ribbons came from (The song by Dawn...and the ribbons where first put around trees doing the Embasy Seige)and the Shah of Iran, Saddam and the US government supporting those two dictators as they rid the Middle East of Communists. When I got her home she said that it was very nice meeting me and that was great conversation. Now if I was 22 I probably would have just told her what great boobs she had.

Susan Saradon who is married to a much younger man said that being with someone from another generation is really exciting cause we have much to talk about and learn from each other.

A fellow I used to work with has been married to his wife for over 30 years...he married her when he was 38 and she was 21. They have children, grandchildren, and they are basically are together always.

It works. One woman on her said the statistics show that couples with a 10-15 year age difference have lower divorce rates.

A woman might have great boobs...but the intelligent ones are smart enough to know that...so they really don't need to be told that. They want to talk about something else.

marius66 ....I guess you still don't get it...I was being sarcastic. I'm 43 and have every inyention of marrying some woman under 25. A friend of mine is a relationship councillor and he told me that men in their 40s and women in their 20s have more in common than people really know.

18 year old girl marries a 40 year old man?
Posted: 5/8/2008 6:30:18 AM
marius66 thanks for your words of wisdom....but people won't let it rest. Let the couple be happy. I myself won't date anyone unless they are in my 7 years gap 18-25 younger than me....next year it will be 19-26 years.

And sorry men don't mature as fast as women...most men don't grow up until 30 to 35...most by time they hit 25-26. That's why we have so many relationship problems, divorce, etc. I've met a lot of 30-something women that have told they have like three kids...two in school or daycare, and one that they are married to.

Many younger women I've met are having problems in relationships cause that so called 22 year old guy that is supposed to be relating to her...acts much more like their younger brother. My 20 year old grandmother married my 40 year old grandfather and that's the way it used to be...and it worked.

kittenshere41...18 and 40 is absurd?

My friend is 48 and his girlfriend of 3 years is 25.

Ed McMahon wife is 32 years younger than him and they have been together for a number of years...."Here's Johnnny!"

Ritchie Blackmore's wife of 16 years is 26 years younger than him...a 47 year old married a 21 year old!!!!!

I met a 47 year old man with a newborn baby and and the mother was 21 as well.

18 year old WOMAN marries a 40 year old man...big deal...it happens all the time...may the couple have many years of happiness.

Well I've been on and off here for about 2 years. And I was hopeing to find the girl I've been looking for for the past 20 years on here someday. But in two years not one woman that I would date has looked at my profile so it doesn't seem to be working. And I work a lot....I think I've 5 days off since the beginning of September so I rarely get out. So I figured that the internet would help me find the woman I'm looking for.

Since things have been working out on here...I really enjoy adding my $1.259 to the forums.

How about a 45 year old with a 19 year old? Ritchie and Candice! I keep telling age is only how many times you have gone around the sun. Charlie Chaplin got married at 54 his wife was 18 and they 8 children together. Heck my parents were 18 years apart...and my mother said she never met a better man than my father. Age does not matter. Goals, expectations, interests and compatibilty matters.

I have nothing in common with most 35 to 45 year old women...probably not woth 30 year old women either.

My friend keeps telling me I'll marry some 18 year old and have 10 children together. He also told me some famous British poet married a 17 year old woman he was 40.

Heck I even know a 35 year old poet who's girlfriend is 20.

Age is only a number mainly on POF. My friend and his girlfriend have been together for 3 years...she's 25 and he's 48. There plenty of examples of older men with younger women and both parties are happy. It's all about compatibility. Hell most of the guys I grew up with are old and stuffy...boring. And men mature slower than women. I know 24 year old women running companies. I've met a lot of 24 year old men who can't even tie their own shoelaces. There was one guy on here who's parents were 30 years apart...they stay married til death they did part...guess what it was his mother who died first she was the younger. Go check Blackmore's Night...Ritchie and his wife Candice have been together for 16 years....they are 26 years apart...they have everything in common and are quite a happy couple.

Life is too short....go out and have fun...find someone who shares your goals and dreams and be happy. Don't let others tell you what to do.

Heck I'm going to marry someone 20 years younger than me and have a wonderful happy family...she'll probably be a young art student.

How does online dating compared to real life?
Posted: 3/27/2008 7:08:22 AM
I'm with yah tkdblake93.

And Kelley-88 either your extremely superfiscial or you're here for a "Booty Call". Your description of both types of men shows a lack of respect to men...something women have been complaining that men do to them for decades. You may think you're a "Hot Young Thing" but I'll tell you sister I used to play hockey with a pro-football cheerleader, she looked hot and had all the right moves but once she opened her mouth she became one ugly bytch. Everyone doesn't have the looks or will lose the looks when they get older, but one thing will remain the same...personality...but judging by your comments, you don't know the meaning of that word. A bright shiny apple may look good on the outside but once you bite into it...it may be full of worms.

It seems I met girls like you on the internet and in real life.

All alone on Easter
Posted: 3/23/2008 7:10:05 PM
No Goodday I've had my pity party today...I cried for a few hours. Generally I've just given up...holidays don't mean anything to me anymore except just another day to have a good cry. It's no point in having a pity party...nobody really cares about you anyways why even trying to find comfort from them. I've just given up. Life has no meaning anymore. That's was the point I was trying to make sorry about being alone and losing your mother OP...but be thankful that your not where I'm at and hopefully you will never have to go there. I can always get worst for you.

All alone on Easter
Posted: 3/23/2008 3:00:31 PM
I just have to respond to Goodday.

(The biggest problem I see with spending holidays alone is in being selfish and allowing yourself to just sit and wallow in self pity (this sometimes happens whether your religious or not). It works for a little while, but honestly, you can only do it for so long before you get sick of yourself (and everyone around you gets sick of you, too). Hopefully, your true friends will come along and give you a good hard kick in the azz to make you get out of your house and head. )

I got three friends that I don't see very often cause they have young families or work alot. I work nights they work days. And I have no family, parents are dead, no brothers or sisters. So don't have too many true friends or family to kick me in the azz. I've worked on every holiday and New Year's in the last 3 years. Most of my other friends left when my mother died 7 years ago.

I agree with Belly that this is a self pity thread, but it's a weak one. It's hard to spend holidays alone just after your parent dies...so I understand the Op's grief.

outrageous expectations from online daters
Posted: 3/20/2008 6:58:00 AM
I understand the one horse-town. Most people stay in small cliques in this city...mostly people from high school. Me and my few friends that I had high school weren't very popular, we came from the wrong side of the tracks. A lot of the people on my side of the tracks got involved in drugs and crime and I wasn't gonna be part of that. Other than that most of the middle-class younger people have moved out of this city on top of that...there ain't much as career advancement here, it's a dying city and the third most dangerous in all of Canada. What were left with is very high end women and down in the gutter women. I need a woman how is either working class or middle class working their way to a better life. Most of them are involved with someone, the ratio of dateable men to dateable women in this city is 4 to 1.

Likewise, I have friends always telling me to go out with some woman closer to my age...that's just like you being told to date someone over weight. It's frustrating.

outrageous expectations from online daters

Yes some people have outrageous expections with online dating. Others just have a type of person they want to be with, but worring about size and other things that really aren't important is ridiculous...or worrying how much someone makes or the type of car they drive, etc, etc. Superfiscial stuff is outrageous. At least I can say my expectations are not outrageous...sorry for the others.

I guess nice wasn't the right word...but there are some really nasty people that like to prey on others hardships and mock them and make them feel worst then before they posted. They used to do that to me but through it all I've gotten tougher and now I go after the evil ones and get right in their face.

The OP is as I read between the lines and the poor spelling and grammer...probably from Arfica. And probably writes quite well in their native language. But oh I forgot English is superior. The OP has some trouble with writing in English, but guess what those mocking, or mucking them probably can't spell one word in the OP's native language.

There are a lot of veil people on here that try to pretend they are something special. or nice, or witty, but generally the real nice people like the OP have already left.

How does online dating compared to real life?

Likewise I'll have to spend my night watching Johnny Depp and "Sleepy Hollow" til I find a pure, innocent women like from those times. Anyone for afternoon tea?

How does online dating compared to real life?
Posted: 3/15/2008 7:19:27 PM
It's the same online as it is in real life...I meet no one. I don't get any dates. Because I can't meet any old fashion young women. No one has any no fashion Victorian morals anymore. So I haven't dated in years and been single for 14 years and I guess i'll stay that way until I find a young women that whats an old fashioned good husband and a good man to have children with.

Rejected after the first date?
Posted: 3/14/2008 6:27:39 PM
Hey at least you get dates on here...no one even looks at my profile or responses to emails...and goes back 2 years. But know what your saying about the first date thing...when I got dates before that happened, but I also did that to the women I met through dating services, so I guess it's not just women.

Would you still go to nightclubs if you had a boyfriend/girlfriend?
Posted: 3/14/2008 6:21:55 PM
I don't go to nightclubs now why would I bother with them if I had a Girlfriend? They are just full of hip-hoppers and wantabee gangsters and Britany Spears wantabees. Give and old fashioned English pub

Lizardman back in South Carolina
Posted: 3/13/2008 7:13:04 PM
Dead animals have been found near Dixie Rawson's home. Near where Dixie's van was chewed up what appears to be the return of lizardman...the bodies of a cow and coyote were found with a half mile of her home. They too very chewed up.

If something will turn you off the most on a first date what would it be?
Posted: 3/9/2008 7:15:40 AM
I can't remember I haven't had a date in 2 and a half years...but I know what stops me from asking her out on a date...her kids, getting high, her career (I like women with jobs not careers), being overweight, bad hair, too much makeup, going to university, her exs, her divorce...there probably more but that's a good list.

outrageous expectations from online daters
Posted: 3/8/2008 8:27:25 PM
Well some people do. And these guys you mentioned are really some kind of freaks. Heck I know of some guys on here that are in half-way houses or under house arrest. (I meet a lot of people in my line of work some very sketchy) But I pretty well spelled it out in my profile what I'm looking for and I could have gone into more detail, but I preety well got it down to those women that would fit the bill would contact me and the others would just go to the next profile.

Were women better off 50 years ago?
Posted: 3/5/2008 11:44:55 AM
Birdie...your right about them treating women like sex objects...it's tough for men to see beyond that...we all want someone who we find attractive...bushmen in Africa judge women based on their shape...I saw this on the Discovery channel on sometime...women with bigger hips and smaller waists according to the bushman was better suited for having children. It goes with natures system of reproduction...other creatures choose mates for the same reason.

Men are not alone with these ideas either. Women choose men who successful and sexy too. It was discovered women who are ovulating are attractive to more butch men then cuter feminine looking men.

Women judging me on my lack of having a sexy body and/or a big wallet has left me single for the past 14 years. You should have heard some of the things women have said about me over that time.

I have friend who is pretty much as dumb as a post...but he has a nice body and he is always scoring with chicks...he usually has 2 or more sex partners at any one time...and women pay him for sex.

Likewise, how many profiles have I read that have said,

1. I'm looking a guy with a good job.
2. I'm looking for a hot guy.

Legalizing Pot - Is It A Solution To Reducing Winnipeg's Gang Problems ... ?
Posted: 3/5/2008 10:51:28 AM
It's not the pot you have to be worried about with the gangs. It's the crack, meth, and extasy that the gangs are running...and heroin is on the rebound because it is cheap. You can get high on a dose of heroin for about $2.50. It's cheaper than a beer for Christ's sake! The gangs aren't selling pot...your neighbour probably growing it in his basement.

The only way your going to get rite of the gangs and them running drugs is to iegalize all of them. Walk down to your local government drug store...MDCC...and pickup some crack. If the users want to do drugs and be idiots and kill themselves let them... it will stop the gang criminal activity.

Hell, it's also the courts problems too...the slap on the wrist...10 years for selling drugs in the USA...you can get off in less than 2 here for good behavior....and why not be a gangster and sell crack...the small dealer can make $10,000 a month selling drugs on the street...and the suppliers can make $30,000 a month....hey you can buy a house in Lindenwoods with that kind of money! What job is going to pay you $10,000 a month?

Sorry if the OP is claiming he is a knight in shining armour then he isn't chivalious. Knights in shining armour are the privilaged ones, dominering, full of themselves, pricks that women mistake as a great guy. Those who practice chivalry are usually have their armour bloodstained, soiled, mangled, and bashed up. Gone through some tough battles, been broken, and fight another day. They're determined to win the day at all costs, and believe in honour. Japanese men are chivalious. Brett Favre is chivalious.
