I don't know, mainstream hip-hop is doing most of the murdering though. If you want to find some really good Hip-Hop you have to actually search for it. The one hip hop artist that I can actually listen to that's newer is P.O.S. Mostly because of his more heartfelt lyrics and his ability to not say the N word and talk about banging hoes or drinking crunk juice. Seriously, is that all rappers do?

It depends, I have a few vinyle's but I don't have a record player : (. More often then not, I download all of my music so I don't have either. I think that both have their strengths and weaknesses, Vinyl does have a much warmer sound but you can only play in a record player. Cd's you can play just about anywhere. Are you willing to sacrifice portability for a sound that's maybe a little bit better.

Bunch of stupid bullshit. They also say that first person shooters turn kids into killers. If that was true then all those expert guitar hero players would be just as good at real guitar. People always have to have a scapegoat. The person couldn't have just wanted to do it, there has to be something that made him do it, and it seems like music and video games are two of the things that people point towards the most. Which is probably because most people listen to music and play video games today.

I have this but every time I listen to it I just cannot get into it. War all the time was my first album by them, so it will probably always be my favorite. I don't know exactly what it is about the album but I just don't feel as emotionaly connected to it as I did earlier releases. Maybe I've just grown out of them or something. IDK I guess I should give it a few more spins just to see if it grows on me.

I have never been able to relate to a country song. That's the reason I don't like it. I also don't like the vocals of most country singers, they usually all sound pretty similar. I'm sure if I heard a country band that was different than I'd like it but so far there isn't one that I know of.

I'm going to have to say Daylight Dies is one of them. They make some awesome melodic death/doom metal that nobody I know seems to appreciate. Although I'd be kind of freaked out if they ever got famous, they'd probably lose something of themselves just to stay that way.

I'm slowly learning how to play the guitar, it's just that I don't have the money to get a proper teacher so it's going to take more time then normal to learn I guess.

Well taking over the radio to be sure, but that's how it has always been. Most average joe's don't really take the time to listen to a lot of music so they just listen to whatever is on the radio which is usually very simple. It's sad but true that music is one of those things that a lot of people don't really like the more complex it gets. Why do you think nickleback is one of the most popular bands in the world? They play some of the most generic music ever made and people just eat it up.

Last night this girl that I've known forever and dated before wanted to have sex with me. We fooled around for a while before getting to the act and I couldn't get an erection. I had a terrible headache all day and just couldn't concentrate I guess, I may even be getting sick now. Has this ever happened to anyone? Now she is pissed off because I couldn't perform, what should I do?

Nickleback is probably one of the worst bands in history. They release the same album pretty much ever year with middle school quality lyrics and people just eat it up. I guess my theory is correct that in America the simpler the music the higher the sales.

I really think it depends on the game. I game like Okami, yeah I consider that art. Everything about the game is beautiful. I also see games like Killer 7 and No More Heroes as very abstract art. Shadow of The Colossus and Ico are definitely art. I could not ever call a game like halo art though. I really don't see anything artistic about it. If it was it'd be considered to be like one of those low budget b-movies.

I hope they don't make anymore. The new ones were all awful, I didn't get the same epic feeling that I got when I watched the originals. Plus, the actors that they got were pretty poor choices IMO so unless they can make the new ones to not seem like they are just trying to milk the series then they are going to be just as bad as Ep 1-3.

I've seen a couple metal bands lately that sound amazing live. Maybe it's because its metal and it was at a smaller place though. They sounded pretty much exactly like they did on the album.

I think what it all comes down to with the man always wanting 2 women is that they are afraid (including me) that if it is another man he might be a better sexual parter. So that now whenever you two have sex alone she might be thinking of him instead. Thats how I usually feel when I think about it anyway.

Dude she went off because you brought out a kite? Sounds like she's the one thats got problems. If I had a girlfriend that didn't like flying kites then she just doesn't even need to be my girlfriend. I am creative to though, I write lyrics, I've been in a band. I'm told that my lyrics can be beautiful and really creative. I've never been told by anyone that I'm a child though for being a lyrisist.

Anyone else listen to their new album? I thought it was awesome, although I haven't looked into their back catalogue yet to see if they have anything better. It just pounds your head all the way through and makes you want to headbang the whole way. When i first listining it gave me so much energy that it was hard for me to contain myself. This is my new cd for screaming practice also.

Its been getting a lot of hits on helium lately so from what I hear they are really good. I wrote them in about two hours so they probably could still use a little work though. These lyrics are not about suicide, just to clear that up before you read. They are about a man who has spent his whole life trying to find his purpose, but when he finally reaches the point in his life when he can look down at everything he has done, there's nothing there but the memories of the men he has killed in countless battles fought throughout his life. He thinks about the other side, then the gods and how they are the ones that want to choose when our lives will end. He takes it upon himself, feeling no regret, his life is complete although not how he had intended it, to end his own life. I don't consider this suicide, he has completed his purpose in life, his time is over, a man should be able to choose when and where he wants to die.
