Punctured Hope! How Aware Are You?
Posted: 11/23/2009 11:44:20 PM
Unfortunately, we can't take that attitude of what happens in other countries doesn't affect us

So how does this particular practice happening in another country affect us here in the west?? Do you think this is the only human atrocity happening in the world?? No ... it just happens to be the one that resonates with your moralities.

Yes ... I am aware of many things. But can I do anything about everything in this world?? No. So I won't lose any sleep over this issue anymore than another.

Or like any other disease, until it hits us or someone we know, then do we start shouting and wear ribbons? like pink for cancer

Uhmm?? I don't think genital mutilation will be happening to people I know anytime soon.

Yes ... your pictures are tasteful so I'm just guessing here ... but "money" in your username might have something to do with it. Also ... "kissing your tan a$$" in your "About Me" section could be considered rude.

I just sent an email to the real Markus. I think this other person is a fake

The Admin guy could take a looooong time to get back to you, though. Try emailing one of the Mods.

What?? Like a vending machine such as "Quik-E-Jizz" that you pass by in the airport terminal??

Airport bathrooms have an awesome blow dryer called the excellerator. The rush of that warm air going over my balls is like no other

Thanks for telling the group you've had your pants down while in front of the hand drier. Note: That was a HAND drier. It was meant to dry off your hands after wanking off in the cubicle.

And you're not part of the circus??

I was inpsired to discuss the features on PoF extracting me from the equation

Features on POF inspired you?? They've never had that effect on me. And what equation would that be?? Are you a writer or mathematician?? A good writer would've said "distracting me from" ... not "extracting me from".

Hard drive from old computer--how to transfer all to new computer..
Posted: 11/5/2009 2:10:58 PM
^^^^^First of all ... in order to restore using any of the mentioned drive imaging software, doesn't the restore image file(s) have to have been created by the software in the first place?? When creating image files, these software package create files with specific extensions ... in the case of DriveImage, those extensions would be .xml and .dat. It doesn't sound like the OP's old hard drive have any image files ... just the usual data, program and OS files. Furthermore, the OP has Windows 7 installed on her new computer. Chances are ... the old hard drive has another version of Windows ... quite possibly an older one. Even if imaging from the old drive were possible, wouldn't that overwrite Windows 7??

OP ... if you just want to transfer over your data such as photos and music, then drag and drop those to your new computer once the old hard drive shows up as external drive. As for the installed programs ... you can't do the same thing because when those programs were first installed to the old drive, they modified the registry of the Windows OS to which it was installed. Copying over the install folders of the programs onto your Windows 7 computer will not actually install them to the OS. It's best just to re-install them again for Windows 7.

What death this year has broken your heart the most?
Posted: 10/30/2009 6:28:01 PM
I don't think any death this year has been more publicized (or exploited) than Michael Jackson

The death of celebrity train wrecks has no effect on me. So to answer your thread subject question: NONE.

The brave men and women who have lost their lives in Iraq and Afganistan deserve more credit than any of them. thats my opinion..

^^^^^Except what Jellybaby said.

I just saw his movie This Is It today and I was in tears at the end

Pull yourself together, OP.

Amazing how 6 months ago, he was the punchline to every joke and now he's loved almost as much as Jesus. Death changes everything

Are you kidding me?? Death has changed nothing. Jackson is still the butt end of some hilarious moments.

As for MJ being loved almost as much as Jesus ... aren't you laying it on rather thick??

OMG... dressing up cats???
Posted: 10/30/2009 6:58:39 AM
Once I saw a woman pushing a baby stroller with two yappy little mutts inside ... all dressed up. It's demented people like her who keeps pet boutiques in business

LOL!
My grandson recently bought me a wall hanging that says, "We had to get rid of the Kids! The Cat was allergic!"

But, in any case, LOL! yes, dressing up your pets and pretending that they're babies...is truly demented...unless you're a little kid!

But she wasn't a little kid. She was at least 40 years old. This happened in an electronics store. She was buying a flat panel TV ... probably for her "little babies". I was expecting her to start changing their diapers or something bizarre.

Perhaps she can't have human kids and is compensating for that deficiency. Who knows?? It was just too weird for me. I'm sure the dressed up pets are just rolling their eyes at the owner's psychosis.

Dressing up a cat or dog it's stupid, yet these "pet boutiques" make a mint from stupid people

Such businesses will always pop up to take money away from the pockets of neurotic pet owners.

My grandkids dress our cat up all the time and push him around in a doll baby stroller

and i see you almost did it but you added it on top where you cant read it while your replying... move it closer to the message

OP ... my suggestion is ... copy the original message text into the reply box. Add some space between it and your reply. As you address each point in the original message ... deleted that point from the original so that when your reply is complete, you would've whittled down the original message to nothing. I know that's tedious but workable.

Does anyone actively work on the PoF site?
Posted: 10/29/2009 4:55:01 AM
That's the entitlement young people seem to have

An entitlement to want something attractive than unattractive and more useful than less useful? Being content with mediocre site only because it does a minimum and an unworthyness to ask for improvements seem like a worse trait

No ... the entitlement is young people believing that the world somehow revolves around their wants. Sorry ... you're not the center of the universe and the world doesn't care what you think.

Why is it ridiculous?? If they have all the ideas needed for improvement ... chances are they have the skills to implement it as well. So hop to it

You do not know what you are talking about then. There are many ways I think this site could be improve but I do not have the ability or knowledge to do it myself

Then in absolute terms ... you have no idea of what you just said. If you do not have the knowledge or skills to implement the so-called improvements yourself, then you are also clueless to the possible shortcomings of such improvements or the hurdles to overcome in order to bring about your ideas. In other words ... if you have no knowledge of brain surgery ... your concepts for improvement in techniques are invalid.

The OP is a web developer, thus he has the skills to do what he has proposed.

Perhaps they should learn. Double, triple or multiple quote tags isn't rocket science. It's just a matter of knowing where to place them. Learning something ... however simple ... won't kill people. It might even turn on a light bulb

To be user friendly is better than forcing the user to read a manual. A user should not have to figure things out

That one really cracks me up. You're saying ... don't bother using the brain God gave you. Right!! Thanks for proving my point though. Users today want everything spoon fed to them. They can't tie their own shoelaces without someone lending their finger. They're also afraid their brains might explode from excessive learning.

Ok here goes guys. Let's say you recently met a woman you like a lot but you know you're going on vacation for two weeks very soon. Would you want to have sex with her before you go on vacation? Or after you return?

If we're already having sex, the relationship is beyond the "just met stage". I would take her along for the ride ... pun intended. Why wait until returning or getting a quickie before shipping out??

Need your opinion on upgrading my camera, and the price
Posted: 10/23/2009 1:25:41 PM
I was just thinking of upgrading my canon power shot i bought 2 years ago and getting a new 10mp one.
Mines 7.1mp and a great little camera. the images are pretty good but they could be sharper

Unless you're considering a DSLR camera ... I wouldn't bother getting a 10MP over a 7.1MP in a Point and Shoot. Canon Powershots are Point and Shoot albeit with alot of manual functions on some models. Image sensors in Point and Shoot cameras are quite a bit smaller than the ones used in DSLRs. A 10MP sensor may have almost the same surface area as a 7.1MP (just higher pixel density and perhaps smaller pixel size) ... meaning the higher MP will actually have worse picture quality than the 7.1MP. Mega Pixel resolution isn't always the deciding factor ... unless all else are equal.

Go to www.dpreview.com and checkout the image sensor size (in cm^2) of the camera you're considering against your old Canon 7.1.

So guys, if you find a woman especially attractive, do you overlook the rest of her profile?

Well ... it's commonly accepted that ... where a pretty woman is involved, the guy's other head takes control of higher reasoning, overriding better judgment. That would include the ability to read the rest of her profile.

Question for all of my fellow comic book superhero fans: would a mask really hide your identity?
Posted: 10/21/2009 2:07:41 PM
A lot of superheroes have their underwear on the outside of their costumes. The shock of it might just be enough to make the mask an effective identity hiding device. With good ol' boy scout Superman ... a bright red undergarment highlighting his SuperManhood for all his fans to see may eliminate the need for a mask after all. No wonder Lois is in love with the Man of Steel ... he's faster than a speeding bullet.

It's a good question, but apparently, when it comes down to it, the people who live in Metropolis are just stupid

Hey!! ... easy on that remark about Metropolis. Some of us aren't that stupid. Although I kinda question the intellectual prowess of Lois Lane and SO in "Superman Returns". Here they were, throwing hints back and forth about the similarities between Clark and Superman ... ya know ... height, weight and such. For no apparent reason ... they just dropped the query ... saying "nah ... can't be". They were onto something and just let it go?? Furthermore, Lois (and everyone at Daily Planet) doesn't seem to clue in to the little fact that Clark comes back to work at almost the same time Superman returns from his mission in space ... or that their "disappearance" were both exactly five years. I mean ... what kind of reporters are these guys?? Aren't they suppose to be inquisitive fact finders. Geez!!

Wonder Woman doesn't even wear glasses in her alternate identity. She relies solely on the masking power of a Stars and Stripes bustier - apparently nobody looks at her face when she's wearing it

Wonder Woman knows that her Star and Stripes will distract people ... especially the guys ... from making some sort of association to her face.

Well the way I see it just because one is born in America, it doesn't mean you may be able to afford to stay

What are you saying here? There is nothing in this story to suggest the woman is an immigrant. Your post doesn't make any sense

Broadband a Right?
Posted: 10/19/2009 1:46:32 PM
There's no poverty anywhere in the developed world. Just bad personal choices

So....by using this form of "logic'....there is no crime, just bad choices....there is no homelessness, only bad choices....there is no over-population issue, only bad choices...there is no addiction issues, only bad choices....there is no Obama, only bad choices. Great logic....in its own way

Thank you ... I thought so myself.

BigDaddy ... I couldn't have said it better.

Many people in developed nations wouldn't be poor if they had availed themselves of educational opportunities ... opportunities that rarely exist in Third World countries. In addition to not seizing such opportunities ... they screw themselves further with unwanted pregnancies, drugs and other forms of addictions ... leading to crime and homelessness.

Thus ... I stand by my opinion. It my RIGHT to freedom of speech.

And shouldn't we get Gore involved with this concept..after all,he invented the internet.....

Al the hypocrite Gore was the "inventor" of the Internet as much as I'm the "inventor" of spaceflight.

the more connected a society is, the more the free flow of ideas is enhanced, the more free we, as a world, are.

me, I think everyone, particularly children, should have free access to high speed net because the more connected we all are the better our freedoms are protected

Ironically ... one of the first things the kids in developing countries did with their One-Laptop-per-Child machine was surf for porn.

http://www.olpcnews.com/countries/nigeria/pornographic_image_child.html

Nigerian schoolchildren who received laptops from a U.S. aid organisation have used them to explore pornographic sites on the Internet

Broadband a Right?
Posted: 10/18/2009 3:20:10 PM
I not only believe that broadband is a right ... I believe Fiber Optic broadband is a right. I want it delivered to my home and I want the taxpayer to pay for it all.

Furthermore, all services ... cable TV, home phones, cellphones, family leisure centers, movies and theater should also be FREE. That's our right too and the government's responsibility to see to it that we're not deprived.

poverty. the new crime in the US

Hardly anything new......and in my neck of the woods....lottery tickets and dope seem to lead the list of where "the folks" are spending their money.Oh....and unwanted mouths to feed....that seems to be a drain as well.....

There's no poverty anywhere in the developed world. Just bad personal choices.

Next it will be an entitlement program that tax dollars will have to pay for the less fortunate to buy smokes online and surf porn

With all the entitlement mentality running amuck ... I'm sure that's next on the social activists list of things to do.

EDIT:

What....no satalite radio and Playboy channel?

Forgot all about Satellite Radio ... but I prefer the Hustler channel. Thanks for that timely reminder though.

my car has been keyed 3 times by a neighbor
Posted: 10/14/2009 10:52:44 AM
Filling in gouges with paint or setting up a camera to see who is doing this are only stopgap measures. You need something more proactive ... like MagnaVolt - Lethal Response (as seen in Robocop 2) ... with its usefulness extended to the outside of the vehicle. Anyone keying your car will be using a metallic object and thus would provide a circuit to ground ... electrocuting them. Poof!! As for the glass ... replace it all with the bullet proof type ... as they are much harder to break and tires can be made from Kevlar. Good luck.

Does anyone actively work on the PoF site?
Posted: 10/13/2009 8:14:43 AM
Sigh. Yeah, I'm pretty much done talking about this. If you think saying "it looks like my junior high web design projects" is being a know-it-all, well Christ, screw this

Done?? But you're still debating this?? When you make a comparison like that ... you do give the impression of an attitude. If you had worded it differently, I wouldn't have called it "know-it-all".

As for the entitlement, again, so what? Everybody feels entitled to not use something they don't like the look of. Most people wouldn't wear a free shirt they hate the look of if they can afford to pay for one that looks better, EVEN IF they function exactly the same way

Again, no website is twisting your arm (or your sister's) so you'll click on them. The same can be said of most businesses out there. If you won't buy the product/service being offered ... someone else will. It's a matter of waiting for the right customer to come along.

I'm calling it coding just because... that's what we've always called it. Call it something else if you want to. And I don't really know another way to say "we didn't use a software package". I went to a tech school, half our day was spent in the computer lab

Well ... I went to technical school too and spent time in computer labs writing Assembly code for hardware control. Uhmm ... back in those days, we used DOS which happened to be the OS (sort of like a software package). We also used a compiler known as Assembler for compiling the object code. That seem like using a software package too.

I don't see how that means we can't make suggestions in a forum that is here to make suggestions

You and everyone can make suggestions. Not everyone will agree with those suggestions ... including the Mods.

Did I say it will get implemented? I merely made a couple of suggestions, you're the one who got your panties in a knot over it

Guys don't call them "panties" ... it's simply underwear as far as we're concerned.

And pardon me if I'm old-fashioned - I've always thought that the wishes of customers should at the very least be considered if not used

Isn't that what I said in my last post?? VVVVVV

If a user want a specific feature, they can submit a request for that feature. That doesn't necessarily mean it'll get implemented. The company will review the request to see how well it fits within their model for development

I think leaving the site largely the same is a bit lazy. But if it does stay the same, whatever - I just think it could be better

I think some of it could be better too. But I'll wait for Admin to make those changes. Since he can see the forums ... how do you know he has rejected all suggestions completely?? Perhaps he'll implement them in due time. It's his game.

Oh yes, how dare somebody use a site that is around to be... used. And how dare they want it to be easier. For shame. Exactly why does it matter if she feels entitled? Or if she's a software developer?

Ha, that's funny, a "mere user"

but it looks like my junior high web design projects

When a young person come across with this kind of "know-it-all" attitude ... that's when I'll stress that you're a mere user, nothing more. What I specifically meant was that young people adopt every new technology that comes out. Because they're early adopters ... many of them think they're masters at technology. Trust me, they're not ... unless they developed the software, firmware or hardware that went into that iPod or smartphone. Young people may be very good at thumbing out a text message ... but if you randomly asked one of them exactly how a smartphone connects to the Internet ... i.e. the communication protocols used, the transfer method, the carrier type (not service provider), etc. ... they probably would be clueless and sport a blank stare on their face. Hence they're are mere users.

As for the entitlement thing ... didn't you say your sister won't use a site unless it looks the way she want it to look??

To people like her, who have grown up with sleek, modern, up-to-date sites to use and don't even remember not having the internet, the look of the site will matter greatly to whether they use it or not

That's the entitlement young people seem to have.

And I can tell you that she, I, and thousands of other people our age started learning how to build websites at least in junior high, and some earlier

As you've admitted, you didn't build websites from scratch. More than likely you used some software package developed by someone else. Again ... you're a mere user of that software package ... like the other users in your juior high class.

Using format and quote tags isn't what I would call coding. You're simply directing the HMTL engine on how to format the look of your text, emoticons, tables, pictures and what have you. Real coding gets into the control registers, accumulators and glue logic of the hardware.

Congratulations, you know how to nest tags - lots of people don't

Perhaps they should learn. Double, triple or multiple quote tags isn't rocket science. It's just a matter of knowing where to place them. Learning something ... however simple ... won't kill people. It might even turn on a light bulb.

I think it's ridiculous to tell somebody to make their own site when all they are doing is attempting to make a perfectly good one better

Why is it ridiculous?? If they have all the ideas needed for improvement ... chances are they have the skills to implement it as well. So hop to it.

And to add to that, please tell me exactly how many companies you have ever heard of that don't cater to the whims of their customers?

Sorry to bust your bubble snarf ... but company developments are based on general user requirements. If a user want a specific feature, they can submit a request for that feature. That doesn't necessarily mean it'll get implemented. The company will review the request to see how well it fits within their model for development. Case in point ... in a replacement router I had purchased recently, I found that Static DHCP timeout was missing. This was a feature that was available on an older model (with older firmware). Tech support said that they'll notify product development and maybe they put the feature back into the next firmware upgrade ... but don't count on it.

Point is: companies don't cater to the whims of customers, they cater to the whims of shareholders.

No, we don't actually pay out of pocket for the site, but it is our continued visits that make advertising here worthwhile

Considering that Admin doesn't seem to care about most requests, chances are he's satisfied with the amount of visits that'll make advertising here worthwhile.

It just seems ridiculous to me to suggest that just because it works, it should be left entirely alone

But POF Admin hasn't left the site completely alone. He's tweaking it all the time. Just because he doesn't cater to everyone's whim doesn't mean he's not working.

Can you even tell me what it would hurt to update the site? In all seriousness, would it lose users?

He might gain new users while losing established users. So the net gain could be zero.

Are you saying that something like dropdown links and buttons to insert formatting tags wouldn't be logical, or would confuse the average user?

I wouldn't say it's illogical. I simply prefer to insert tags manually so I'm not a big supporter of this idea. I would support a private message preview feature so that when we write a message, we could ensure all the formatting tags are applied correctly before sending. I have asked for this feature once before but was told ... no. However, I won't lose any sleep over it.

For people who whine and complain about the lackluster look of POF ... they've certainly been here for awhile. I guess FREE does trounce the look and feel of a site

The reason I mentioned it is because while it doesn't bother me, within the next five years or so POF will probably be getting a large dose of internet savvy users who grew up with shiny, properly functional websites

If those "savvy" Internet users doesn't like the look, they won't sign up. But I get the impression Admin doesn't care. You'll noticed I said "savvy" Internet users ... as users today are mostly just that ... users. Most of them are nothing more than "button and link clickers" with little or no knowledge of the backbone beneath the Internet ... or any technology they're using (for that matter). Users who "grew up with shiny, properly functional websites" have a profound sense of entitlement. They think the world owes them something and should cater to their whims.

My younger sister, who is only 5 years younger than me, sees me on here and comes out with "And what the hell is this thing supposed to be? It's like a baby website." To people like her, who have grown up with sleek, modern, up-to-date sites to use and don't even remember not having the internet, the look of the site will matter greatly to whether they use it or not

My point exactly. Your younger sister is the type of user I'm talking about ... those who feel entitlement. Unless she does more than use websites (like most people do) ... I would guess she isn't even aware of the underlying technology ... other than point and click. Is she a software developer or hardware engineer who are able to understand technology at the most fundamental levels?? I highly doubt it. Putting together a website with some software package written by someone else doesn't count.

She'd be downright embarrassed to be caught using this site, and not because it's internet dating - because it looks sloppy

My point being: don't whine and complain as a mere user. If the OP is the technology expert he professes to be on his profile ... then go develop his own site rather than complain about the site he is using.

like Inbox, Sent Messages, View Profile and so on; having a row of small buttons on top of the reply box with buttons that automatically insert the code for Bold, Italics, Quote, etc. for people who don't know how to use them (and most people don't know how to nest coding at all); having it so when you click Reply on a post, it automatically quotes the text for you (people tend to expect this, and in large threads half the time it's impossible to tell who somebody was trying to reply to)

You mean nested quotes like what I've done on this post and have done in private messages?? Applying format and quote tags isn't really coding in the real sense of the word. Coding is what happens when you get down to 1's and 0's.

What you are implying is exactly what I have said: people are mere users and cannot apply format tags on their own without hand holding and spoon feeding. It's the kind of expectation you and your sister's generation have. You want everything done for you. Think about autonomous self-reliance ... OK??

Does anyone actively work on the PoF site?
Posted: 10/7/2009 11:22:08 AM
For people who whine and complain about the lackluster look of POF ... they've certainly been here for awhile. I guess FREE does trounce the look and feel of a site.

Along comes someone suggesting to the owners of Facebook that their site was very limiting

The constructive feedback was taken on board and approximately 4 years later the biggest social networking platform in the world is with us!

So next time you believe that someone making a suggestion is rude and we should all be thankful for what we got, consider whether it is actually yourself that is living in the dark ages and that without change, things will never improve for you, your life will not be further enriched

If change to your favorite social networking site is the life enrichment you're looking for ... you really should think about expanding your horizons. So many people rave about Facebook ... but it's nothing more than inane, nonsensical and mindless drivel among it's user base.

Even just organizing the cluttered links would make it look cleaner

This would be about the only improvment that's need. Nothing more.

Cell phone insurance: What am I paying for...
Posted: 10/6/2009 4:36:40 PM
If you must really know I was texting my friend back and forth up in my room. After sending a text I put it in my sweatshirt pocket, and went downstairs and then decided to go to the bathroom. I apologize if you think everyone should take everything out of their clothes before entering a frigging bathroom

Well ... just for the record, I never have anything in my pockets when using the bathroom. In fact, I don't carry my cellphone around while at home. If I were texting my friend back and forth (and I have done so) and then needed to do some business, I would set the phone down ... do said business ... then return to the phone to answer any new texts. It's not like the text message will disappear before you view it. I'm sure your friend isn't "breathlessly" waiting for your reply either. Moreover, I take pity on your phone for having to endure the ick factor of "pinching that loaf" ... as BigDaddy said. I hope your cellphone insurance covers fecal contamination.

People actually buy insurance for their cell phones?

Gullible people do it all the time. How do you think electronic stores make their money?? From naive people they see coming from a mile away.

Are most guys afraid of really pretty women?

You're an attractive woman

Just looked at her profile. I wouldn't even go that far. Self proclamations are sooo unattractive.

Would it be possible to get rid of the concept of money all together and would it be a good thing?
Posted: 9/30/2009 10:37:57 PM
Make sure everybody is fed, clothed and sheltered and then we go for whatever seems the best idea at the time.

It seems to me that we could accomplish humongous feats without money in the way

I disagree ... it is the idea of profit that drives innovation. Human nature being what it is ... people will tend to stagnate if all their needs and wants are provided for ... without having to work and spend the money they've earned. Do you really think that once everybody is fed, clothed and sheltered (without effort on their part) ... they would be inclined to motivate themselves further?? I have my doubts. No inventor is going to innovate when they see their efforts having no personal rewards ... where their couch potato neighbor can drink beer all day and still be fed, clothed and sheltered.

It seems to work in Star Treck

The idea of money isn't gone from Star Trek. It has simply changed form in the way of the Federation credit. How that credit is accumulated and used was never made clear.

Woman gets pregnant again while she is pregnant.

^^^^^This may not be a common occurrence ... but the idea of a woman (especially a young woman) having children by different fathers is very common. Maury may still get his "Who's My Babies Daddy’s?" material after all.

This is one extremely rare and bizarre occurrence. Maybe they should think about playing the lotto after this

Or maybe she's "Rent-a-Womb" and business has been brisk.

HOW DO YOU WRITE SOMEONE A TESTIMONIAL ?
Posted: 9/26/2009 10:23:55 PM
^^^^^Actually the user can delete only the testimonial without booting the testimonial writer from their favorites list ... although I wouldn't understand why they would do one and not the other ... especially if the testimonial was negative. All a user has to do is go to their fav list and click on " Testimonials from Favorites" and then click "Delete Testimonial" for the one they dislike. It's not that difficult.

images from my blackberry

^^^^^Just tried a test upload image from my phone and it worked. However, only the default image uploader was available ... not the Flash based one. I guess Admin doesn't support Crackberries and iPhones.

says 2 new messages but they are invisible?

I DID delete 2 messages back in 1932. I'm surprised their ghosts have returned to haunt my inbox

1932?? POF didn't even exist back then ... and I'm pretty sure the Internet didn't either. That would also make you 77 years old ... or more. You're lying about your age being 22 on your profile Maestro.

^^^^^Short answer: can't be done.

Long answer: you must be on their favorites list in order for you to write one. If you are on their list ... click on "Who Loves Me" at the bottom of your inbox and you'll see them listed. There's a testimonial clickable. However, I doubt someone will let you write such a "glowing" testimonial as exposing their racket. Once they see it ... they can just delete the testimonial and punt you from their fav list.

Waking up to a bj... yay or nay?
Posted: 9/20/2009 7:17:07 AM
He really seemed to enjoyed it... even pulled me up for some 69 action..

Then the next day after he came home from work he seemed pretty agitated by it. I don't recall his exact words but he did say something that indicated he didn't like that I had done it....

I would think most guys would like this??? What's your guys' opinion?

Between the time of the morning BJ and the next day after he came home from work ... your roommie turned gay. Don't expect much in the way of an FWB in the future. Most normal guys would love BJs in the morning.

Rim Job?

Several years ago ... I went to a job fair for Research In Motion ... a.k.a. RIM ... maker of the Crackberry. I asked if this was where I could apply for a RIM job. Needless to say ... they kicked me out.

What does G.M. stand for?'
Posted: 9/4/2009 8:57:59 PM
GM = Gross Mismanagement ... as seen in many recent corporate failures throughout North Amercia (and the world) ... where overpriced CEO's get fancy expense accounts while lowly workers get the screw. Even when the useless CEO's depart ... they are handed platinum severance packages and pensions.

That doesn't mean I'm sympathetic to GM's assembly and frontline workerforce though ... not when their union enhanced wages and benefit packages made their cars uncompetitive with other automakers ... in addition to their lousy designs. They were a bankruptcy waiting to happen. Oh ... did I mention that their customer service suck?? The company wrongly believed they were the titan who could not fall.

Bum sex, why can't I do it?!
Posted: 9/2/2009 11:22:41 PM
I'm the one who wants to do it and she's ready, but it's like 'he' has a mind of his own and doesn't want to obey... Does/Did this happen to anyone else?? How can I overcome this??

A poster mentioned viagra but you're only 25. Have you tried counseling the little guy to reassure him everything will be OK?? Sometimes a pep talk from the owner does wonders. He's just afraid of the dark. Help me ... help me!!

Just relax. Go with the flow

Um, if he went with the "flow" as suggested, there wouldn't be "bum sex"

That was nasty, Bikedude ... nasty but funny.

Would you want your head shoved up a poop shoot!

What's wrong with trying something new??

I tried to have sex with a bum once....

So how did it go?? Details!! Bums need love too.

Living for 18 years in someone's back yard
Posted: 9/1/2009 4:46:33 PM
Just another symptom of a morally bankrupt nation, who's citizens will go back to their Ophrah and Reality TV shows until the next outrage on CNN.

Do any of you really care? Or is this just more pop culture style entertainment?

My thoughts exactly. These people don't really care. Such news stories only serve to feed their appetite for more entertainment material. It's like a drug ... they can't get enough of it ... always looking for their fix in the next social outrage. I'm sure this is all over the Oprah show (plus many others) and these posters are racing to catch some juicy tidbit no one else has heard yet. Once the "newness" of this story has dried up, they'll go back to their reality shows ... as you said ... until the next big thing "blows up" in the media.

Speak for yourself, Paddy ~ my entertainment is Monk , so there!!!

Hiding from the truth doesn't separate you from the gossip vultures on here. You're just in denial.

He said I looked older!!!

Even if she does indeed look a little older than she stated in her profile, why confront her with it? It' s obviously NOT the way to flirt!!!!

Maybe he's one of those guys who doesn't realize that women are sensitive to two things: their age and weight.
