Traits of a person likely to commit marital infidelity
Posted:
10/25/2008 2:05:39 AM
Many cretins commit infidelity if they are tempted by other women. They simply can't properly evaluate the consequences, or they can and are willing to take the risk. Smarter men are no more/less faithful...At least I've not read an unbiased study putting them on one side of that spectrum. Debating the correlation between those characteristics against infidelity is a waste of time. Rest assured - If a man truly loves you, (In the old school sense of the word,) he will not cheat.

How Do You Deal With Stubborn?
Posted:
10/25/2008 2:01:12 AM
Being 'stubborn' is generally to be close-minded. They're essentially synonyms. You have 3 options
1) Agree with him - This will solve the problem
2) Remain mute - This will probably solve the problem
3) Disagree with him - This will cause further problems
If you're unable to go with option 1 or 2 - you are too stubborn yourself and value the ability to express your own perspective more than the relationship. This post won't change who you are or what you do, there is no decision to be made or path to take. You will act based on who you are.

Why are we on top of the food chain ?
Posted:
10/25/2008 1:51:02 AM
Ach, what sort of question is this? Put down the bong, hippie. We're smarter than all other eukaryotes, that's what makes us top of the food chain. If you want to take down an elephant you can go to a gun store, purchase a weapon, and take down an elephant. If you want to eradicate a swarm of wasps you go to Canadian Tire and pick up a can of Raid. This is a weak question. Sure we're vulnerable to certain prokes but we own this world.

Global Warming Real?
Posted:
10/25/2008 1:46:20 AM
Ugh, this is getting so old. The earth is generally getting warmer. In the Ice Age the earth was generally getting cooler. Sure, it's theoretically possible for massive amounts of greenhouse gasses to increase the temperature of an area - But if the earth were cooling instead of warming - people would be searching for other explanations involving human interaction with the earth. I've yet to see unbiased, conclusive proof that global warming exists and is due to our influence. It's similar to the concept of God. You can't prove or disprove God exists yet people argue endlessley about it. Nobody TRULY knows what is going on with respect to both issues.

The Gym
Posted:
8/19/2008 1:32:32 AM
Go to the gym...Get your workout in...Go home. Some people treat the gym as a social hot bed. Determine if she is one of those people that works out just for show and take a shot at her. If she's focused - then stay away. I wouldn't want Elisha Cuthbert and Scarlet Johansson trying to tag team me while I'm hitting the weights. Clearly I'm lying because I would definitely take them down - but save your pickup lines for the bar... If you're really desperate - Perhaps you could arrange a 'chance' meeting before or after your workout. But is that really worth your time? I'm thinking you're not that desperate...

It's simple mathematics. If your output exceeds your input your body will have to turn to your energy stores, (namely your fat,) to compensate...

If you're new to the gym I'd recommend starting with lunges. They work essentially the same muscles but are easier to take to failure without the risk of hurting yourself. Remember to explode out of each rep if your goal is usable strength.

I find that hard to believe. I work out often and can do 100 on a good day. My Muay Thai instructor can do at least 150. If you're working out and not improving than you really need to actually work out...

Global Warming Real?
Posted:
8/19/2008 12:48:52 AM
Ach, it amazes me how many people believe in global warming - Not because they've done the legwork and looked at the research but because they believe in Al Gore or 'common knowledge' (I say that with wholehearted disdain) Yes the earth is getting warmer in some places and it is getting colder in others. It's possible that the earth is heating up but nobody knows why. Sure, everyone can speculate and come up with a theory that sounds plausible on paper but nobody knows for sure. If we all lived 10,000 years ago and the earth was going into an ice age instead I'm sure everyone would have a theory about how we were causing that as well...

About pupil dilatation and attraction
Posted:
8/11/2008 12:09:02 AM
This is ridiculously inaccurate. There are so many causes of pupil dilation. If you're one on one and she's staring at you like she wants you to take her now...And her pupils are dilated it's just one additional sign. Otherwise don't try to read it - You will just confuse yourself.

The Gym
Posted:
8/11/2008 12:05:52 AM
This is a clear 'No'. I work out at our university gym. Ppl are focused. I work out with some of my teammates and if mint girls are walking by and clearly trying to show it off - it just breaks your concentration. This is where you are very focused and can do without the distractions. Save it for anywhere else, save exam nights. Older ppl walking on treadmills at Shapes may have different sentiments.

Well I'm 22 but if I see a smoking hot 16 yr old walk by I feel compelled to look. It's completely natural. If she was 30 and mint I would feel the same way. It is highly likely that I would approach this girl. Ppl may look down on this but if other men are saying they don't it's probably because they are guy or lying.

For the men who masterbate often ....
Posted:
8/10/2008 11:31:51 PM
Yes. Typically if I rub one out and then get it on within a few hours it'll take an hr to blow it. If I try to do it within 10-60 mins of doing it I can't get it off. No hyperbole. I haven't been able to . It's usually only about 20 mins for me on a fresh day so I'd say it makes a huge difference. This is all when I'm trying to get it off, I wouldn't know if you were trying not to. What fun would that be though.

Should police attend minor hockey games
Posted:
8/10/2008 11:21:29 PM
I've been playing/coaching the past 15 yrs and it would be a waste of police resources to supervise minor hockey games. Drunk parents will occasionally get into fights but it rarely escalates beyond that. HS/Junior games will sometimes erupt into minor riots but then someone calls the cops and everything cools off. It's so rare it's just not worth it, especially at the minor hockey level.

Is confidence THE pheromone?
Posted:
6/3/2008 12:44:42 AM
Poor wording - definitely. You acknowledged that though. Judging from the tone of the post this is a legitimate question. It's so straightforward though...I really can't see the complication. You pose several q's but I'll answer your last one. It's as easy for a man to develop confidence as it is for a woman. It's like telling a timid woman not to be shy...Your genetics, and circumstance determine your disposition. What's the mystery?

Why are guys scared of smart girls?
Posted:

I read about half of your post...Your first sentence makes little sense - "Seriously guys, why are the vast majority of guys seeking a girl who is smart, worldly, etc. scared of us girls that are smarter than a lamp post?"
Your improper word conjugation and your willingness to equate intelligence with automotive know-how makes me really doubt that this post is anything but an attempt to grab attention. Your title should more accurately read "Why are guys scared of girls that have general automotive knowledge".

Why do so many people seem to hate cops?
Posted:
5/7/2008 1:26:27 AM
"My question is "why"? Police Officers can be****,conceited, obnoxious, over bearing, nasty and mean..."
Please re-read that...When a cop has a bad day he can take it out on me. I swear to God I'm 21, I drive a porsche, and I get stopped every few weeks for a 'random' spot check. You deal with a bunch of cops that are pissed because they feel inadequate and then tell me I should praise the local police force...
