72 year old Great-grandma Tasered by Texas Cop...
Posted:
6/10/2009 11:50:11 AM
Those who were ever on the job know being "nice" can get you hurt or killed. If a 72 year old woman shot your azz you would be just as dead as if it were a 23 year old escaped felon. There is a saying "I am here to do a job not make friends." I know it is hard to imagine but if you change how you handle a situation due to age, weight or anything else you WILL get hurt for your galant efforts eventually. You never let your guard down and the rules apply to all no matter what age. Sounds harsh but it's a harsh world and as someone else pointed out he could have done worse, pepper spray, knight stick, and many many more things. A stun gun would do the least damage and control the situation. Try being on the other side before you get too judgemental.

My Dad always said "a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing" It was not a taser, it is called a stun gun and proven safe for even those with pace makers because it is the volts of 5,000 or more which will not hurt you, the amps will kill you. Also a taser shoots barbs into you from 2 wires making you flop like a carp and mess yourself and have to be removed by medical personnel.
Granny had game, who knows but anyone there what really went down.

Men at work or not?
Posted:
6/10/2009 8:32:54 AM
There shouldn't be an excuse due to pressure put on employers to accomidate all.
I aspired to be a Wal Mart Greeter. It has been a dream a long time. I had my final test "in the field" The nastiest meanest woman I had ever seen had 2 kids and was screaming at them like mad. I said "what wonderful children you have mam, are they twins"? to which she replied "hell no why would you even ask something stupid like that" so I replied "because I couldn't imagine anyone doing you twice" Thhus ended the dream

I think refrences are always good for a resume such as any who walked bow legged for a few days or were in a comma for over 5 minutes plus the "toungue would not be in the cheek" A certification for winning a cherry stem tying contest in a bar wouldn't hurt either!

Why DO men send unsolicited pics of their penis?
Posted:
6/2/2009 10:47:12 AM
I am going out on a limb here but probably the same reason women send pics of their "cooter cat"
Again gender specific, I truly hate that! If Freud is right and women have penis envy I am sure "some" would send it out so instead they send pictures of their JJ. Maybe "some" guys send pictures of the head they think with but again it is not gender specific!

Sex with no strings attached, is this possible?
Posted:
5/27/2009 7:24:14 PM
according to one of a thousand training films and tests I had to take for the University (If I don't know how to sexually harass now I never will) they stamp a big NO on that, not to mention the age old saying "don't fu#* your paycheck" and "don't dip your pen in the company ink well" It has been my experience age old sayings are age old for a reason but I do not judge, what ever floats your boat but treading dangerous waters! Maybe get her to role play and secretly record the "boss" demanding a little OT and extra caricular activities to keep job. Play it off as role play then take recording in and sue for all you can
That way if it does hit the fan you will leave with something!

Sex Buddies

Sadly many these days do not know or understand what a true "friend" is nor would they appreciate it. I have always hated the expression "We are just friends" It implies that a friend is not given the credit it deserves. There are friends and there are "aquaintences" many also need to learn the difference but if have not by now may never and is their loss. I have several "aquaitences" but a small number of true friends and I take none of them for granted and my life is better for having them in it as a true friend. It is not just a word, learn the difference if you are able.

Tina, take a pill OK? Settle down girl! If you read "carefully" you would have seen where I tend to agree it is an invasion but it was posed to provoke thought if capable. It's easy to sit in the cheap seats and rip on someone but before doing so again try and read the thread before "bashing" Thanks for shopping K mart and have a great day!

To Hack or Not to Hack, That is the Question
Posted:

Good responces. Back in the day I did Investigations for a while. When someone wanted to hire me or us to tail their spouse etc I always told them that if they are willing to spend that much then they already know the answer but a good point was made, sometimes they just had to have that hard copy proof in hand. Doesn't make it right but many felt the need.

OK first disclaimer this is to induce thought and not something I am doing but have seen it done.
If you think your significent other is fooling around is it an invasion of privacy to plant a "Key Gen" program on the computer to see who he/she is writing to get inside information. Part of me thinks if you have that much mistrust then there is a problem and you should just bail or talk about it open . I have seen the other approach as well from those with the skills to do it and you don't even have to have the skills these days, you can buy a program to do it for you and it will send you all in/out messages e mail etc to an e mail account you have without them having a clue.
Again this is just intended to provoke opinions on this in this time of technology. Let the games begin!

If you are OK with it OP then it is not weird, if you are not OK with it then it is weird. That is why I detest the word "normal" What is normal to one might not be to another which translates to "what ever floats your boat" and "different strokes for every folks"

Unless you are insecure it should not bother you. "It's ok to look at the menu when on a diet, just don't eat" I would expect a woman I was with to look at other guys as well, doesn't mean she is going to jump them or anything but it is human nature to look.
