When in a relationship, a bf is equally as important as my family/friends and I espect the same courtesy in return from a bf. If he has kids I expect to be treated with the same respect as his kids. If he requests I take a back seat to his kids, I'm gone.

I met a man online 14 months ago. He was there for me thru a rough time, and i was there for him during problems. {we have spent alot of time together} I care deeply for him but he doesn't want a serious relationship. I know i can't love him because it's hurting me. But how do i walk away from someone who has been there for me during the worse time of my life?

Some guys just need to reach the point where they finally realize they aren't the be all and end all of the bar and then they start looking for someone they can settle down with and at least get consistent sex, cuddling and adulation. You know, sort of like a puppy.
