Yes. I lost him at the hands of a murderer..we didn't loose each other over anything between us..we had a bond that couldn't be broken.

Taking God out of everything only ends up in downward spiral. God needs to remain in school, Government, anything and everything else that anyone wants God to be there. This country was founded with God in everything and just because of a few that don't believe..those people need to turn their heads while the rest of this God fearing country keeps him in our lives. This is my belief anyway.

I feel the Drs should be prosecuted..yes....however, homocide? No...I think Jackson was the one who decided to go that route and his actions resulted in his overdosing..along with the Dr. It eventually will end in death sooner or later.

There are definately quite a few sick people in this world..it's so horrible when they feel like all they can get are little kids!! We had a step dad kidnap his kid with the help of a friend and they raped that poor girl and then killed her--she did not deserve to go through any of that. It's just sick what some people do. We have a ton of child molesters around my town as well....if they would put those people in prison the rest of their lives it could deter some of it- because in reality they did more damage to the child they chose to destroy!!

If the parents knowingly let their child drive while they were impaired and that child was their responsibility then yes they should be held accountable. If they had no knowledge of their child going to be behind the wheel while drinking and driving then that might be a different story. But everyone knows the dangers of getting behind the wheel when they are impaired and I hope each and everyone of them are caught and prosecuted. There are no excuses for drinking and driving!

So far-( knock on wood)..I still have a job. Been there 12 yrs now and no layoffs. They haven't hired too many new people lately which makes our work load alot heavier. Construction is still going fairly good down here from what I've heard and I know the plant where I worked my 2nd job at for a year is hiring as well. That was hot inside that building but at least it's a job.

Well, I'm wondering if (most) men really know what they want? I think it changes from one day to the next. When they see that women don't really NEED a man to make it on their own, they don't know how to handle it. I think women are always in the cross fire because (most) of us make it just fine by ourselves. It would be nice to have a man for companionship and we compliment each other but I don't want one because I NEED one or feel like I want someone to help me. I would prefer to be alone and stress free than being with someone who thinks Im there because I need them or want them just to help me out.... Couples need to be one together, not having to feel smothered by neediness, or feeling used.. Thats my felings on it anyway.

I'm not saying I don't appreciate what all they have to endure at all..nor the dangers they face everytime they get a call never knowing if they will walk away alive or not....I was a cop's wife for many years. I understand everything they have to go through!! However...the day my husband died and the way his death has been handled from day 1 has also made me realize how much cops stick together regardless if they were right or wrong! I have absolutely no tolerance nor respect for corrupt cops, corrpt judges, corrupt lawyers..corrupt anything!! When I know they did the best they could leaving no stone unturned..then that's different, but knowing they did nothing at all boils my blood just a tad!!

They have feelings, and you will be involving someone else . You mentioned the bad breakup..and that's not a good reason to be with a woman.. I've been on here for several years but 1 1/2 yrs under this name..I'm here just for the forums now and after the first few meets that I had I decided it was alot better for me to stay in the forums. I do browse through profiles just because I'm curious, but not that often anymore. Or I will snoop at a profile when I read something in the forums just to learn more about a person. But, I will just stay in the forums..:)

I've never had the oppurtunity to live in the country, but my parents were raised on the farm, and after us kids graduated my parents moved back out to the farm. I personally don't care for the malls, or shop alot, I would love having a garden, enjoy learning to can, and all that. However being widowed, it's better for me to live in town so I won't have far to travel to work, have a small apartment that I won't have to worry about the yard, or if something goes wrong with the icebox or stove I can just call maintenance

That's possible nebula..but there are some who wouldn't care regardless. The reason I think that- I read/ hear of others in power who take chances all the time knowing full well if they get caught they will go to prison or possibly the death penalty- yet they do the crime anyway!! So having that badge on will matter to some but for others they will take their chances..they like to see how much they can get by with!

Yes..it is way past time for crooked cops getting caught and punished..but I feel their punishment should be a little stricter than normal because they swore to God and before God to uphold the law and alot of times they use their badge to do their wrong doings..and that is just wrong in my eyes.

I don't agree with how the woman acted at all....I also don't agree with how the officer handled an elderly lady. And if I thought the cop was right- I would stand up for that cop..but in this situation I just couldn't stand up for either one..

I don't think he is being insensitive at all. It's sad when people expect widows/widowers to just wipe the slate clean, never mention their late spouse..and God forbid if you mention that you were happy... If your Mom or Dad passed away, how would you feel if someone told you don't ever think about them, talk about them, remember them..if you do then your stuck in the past- you have problems moving forward. They are a part of us..no matter how much it disgusts anyone else...... As far as I am concerned- anyone new in my life is not competeing with anyone deceased..I would hope they would be starting a new chapter in my life and be a part of who I am now!

They have counseling for the family members, which I recommend going to. But it's like anything else..you don't have a choice- it's there, you do the best you can to deal with your emotions. When you lose a child..most people can't even begin to understand the pain, torment that you feel inside..but you don't have a choice in the situation. No matter what anyone does or says- it won't bring them back..even though we would give anything in the world to have them back! It's like losing anyone..your parents, your best friend...you still have to go through the emotions.. cancer you thought was cured, but they die from it.., newborn baby the drs couldn't save, a spouse or relative who took their own life leaving you with a million questions. A spouse or child murdered..you have a million questions...life isn't fair but all anyone can do is take it one day at a time, go to counseling, rely on your preacher if you have one, and just do the best you can do.........

I have to say though..there isn't anything you can do about a deceased husband- he's deceased..:) But as far as the widow- it sounds like maybe she isn't ready to move on. Some people move on shortly after the death of their spouse..others it takes years- if ever.., so the best you can do is respect her wishes if that's what they are. Good luck to you ..:)

My belief on this subject is; A true friend would never ask you or expect you to lie for them or for anyone!! Sorry, but I have my own morals, my own conscience that I have to live with and I won't lie for anyone. If my friend wanted to be stupid and have an affair then I don't want to know anything and don't expect me to cover for them because I won't. I love my friends and would do what I could to help them in alot of ways..unless it was illegal, immoral, or plain stupid on their part.

Some people have been here for several years, before they met someone they clicked with, others have in alot shorter time . But, you also need to give guys a little bit better of a chance, it takes a little while to get to the top of pedestals...so be patient..:)

The FBI..lol...sorry but I have no faith in any of them. My reasoning (just from what happened to my case)..they didn't lift a finger to investigate anything, they simply reviewed the piddly detectives report which he just happened to omit a big portion of the whole conversation..and they just agree with what they read. I can't believe anything the FBI , or any law enforcement has to say. I'm torn between the death penalty..in one way I agree with it, from the victims stand point..yet on the other hand, I don't like it either. Crime rate is sky rocketing regardless if there is a death penalty law. Most crackheads, druggies, thieves too lazy to work don't care, they will do whatever they can to get money.

And what's just as sad NocturnalPrincess , everyone else let's it go as well. The judge let it go as a misdemeaner and still working because that judge covered one of their own-(-again )---, and you know just as well as I do..he should've been arrested, served time just like anyone would have if they committed that same crime..and fired! It just isn't fair, nor is it right to everyone else who pays their dues for the same offense.
