Hey Lolla,
Thanks for the tips. I took a look at my pro and you were right, it seemed cynical and angry. I re-did it a bit and I hope if you get a moment you can take another look at it and tell me what you think. Thanks again.

Review my profile, just leave 2 cents in the change cup on the way out

Personally, if you were closer i would be thinking about sending you a message. I don't see anything wrong with it. Short, to the point, Seems honest, and you show that you have a sence of humour.

The only sugestion I would make, is maybe get a little more creative with your first date. Dinner and a movie is a tad played out.

All in all, good job.

DECEIVING PROFILE STORIES ???----Rant here
Posted: 9/26/2005 10:55:06 PM
I chat with the person on here before i meet them. In messages and on MSN IM. No one can lie for that long and not slip up. I like the profiles that state "im sweet, romantic, sensitive and want someone to share my life with" then 5 minutes into the conversation their askin to "Hook up" i mean sheesh give me a break. I have talked to a few people and hope to meet them soon, but im not in a rush to find myself in an awakward situation.

One last example: my pro does state that i have children (Just one), and i would think that my pic was abvious that it was my son. I had one guy mesage me and want to get to know me. after talkin back and forth for a bit, he comes out with "so whan are you going to ditch the looser in the pic, i bet im twice the man he is" and even went on to compare his D*** size, i informed him he was talking about my son and........ heres the shocker....... i never heard from him again.

SHESH lol

Ever had a kiss so good it was like if not better than intimacy?
Posted: 9/22/2005 1:54:00 AM
I had thisone guy i was dating. We were friends for months and the relationship took off from there. We hung out and got closer. Cuddled on the couch to watch movies. Came close to kissin a few times, but didnt. Then one night it just slowly happened. We both wanted the kiss, and eased slowly into it. When it happened it was like the world disapeared and it was just us. It lasted quite a long time, and didnt lead into anything but another one to say good night. It was pure magic.

How long should it take before meeting someone?
Posted: 9/17/2005 2:00:31 AM
I totally agree with Longtec. Set up a test for her. I went through this with someone once. He was a great distance away from me, and claimed to be ready to quit his job, and move to where I was so we could "begin our life together". And when it came time for him to do it he dissapeared. I never heard from him again. I was heart broken. i spent almost a year planning my life out with this guy only to get hurt. I would say move on before your heart gets broken.

Why are older women not into younger guys???
Posted: 9/14/2005 11:21:03 AM
I can say for myself I was 25 and I was dating a guy who was 22, and even tho we got A LOT of flack for it (just cause im older) we were happy. He was very mature for his age and the only reason it didnt work was because he was movin to Australia for a year and even though I was invited i had too much here to take care of. But we remain best friends, and who knows what the future holds.

How long do you wait to introduce your children to someone you might date?
Posted: 9/12/2005 11:14:22 PM
I am struggling with this one now. Im still good froends with my ex who i was with for awhile, HE decided to play daddy and since we were talkin about marrage i thought it was ok. We were happy, my son loved him, and onw day WHAM the " i need space and time to sort out my feelings" train came crashing thrugh and left my son and I devistated. Now I back to being on friendship terms with the guy and my son is still close with him, but the guy wants another chance and i dont trust him with my heart anymore, so im back to the dating scene and Im just as confused about this as is the next parent.

Can happiness and butterflies in the pit of your stomach be considered needs? Maybe?

Not maybe, yes. It means your happy and everyone needs to be happy.
