Biological VS Step Fathers
Posted: 8/17/2008 8:37:42 PM
That does sound kind of silly, and i disagree, theres good and bad of both.
But possibly because it really depends on who was calling to agree or they polled etc. That in itself could really change the outlook, just a thought, we all know theres lots of men who don't want to be dad's, or shy away and that kind of thing, and negativity travels faster than positive, but one thing about being a step-dad, usually took the plunge, took the responsibility, the biological dad just got the women pregnant, in that regard the step-dads could really appear to get ahead.
Some people say, Its not about winning or losing, and some say thats what losers tell themself! some people say (especially men) Its great if my ex met someone and my kid's where treated right! Unfortanetly alot of people just say this! (Unfortanetly because of that, you could give another point to stepdad's possibly)

Back On Topic *I am not agreeing to the discussion that sparked this topic, i think its pointless and stupid, you could only grade across the board, and it would be impossible to say, i was raised by a single dad, and my dad is the man! I had a kid living with me and it was great, i had an awesome bond with him, but i couldn't imagine if i was actually a dad, therefore this does seem pointless, but interesting. just the fact that they would discuss that kinda shows me one thing, isn't there something a little more crucial they could talk about that effects people, if not locally, globally

THE BIKE Dude!! ugh!!
Posted: 8/12/2008 1:54:00 PM
They should all buy h3's and big SUV's, then the price of gas may come down, but the way it is now, it will never come down, because everyones got more fuel efficient cars, ride bikes and take transit, Somebody needs to start buying all the gas they used to sell, thats why prices are hi, and with people getting hybrids and electric cars and the like, its only going to get higher.

So tell these people, to stop doing there part for the enviroment, stop making people in vehicles nervous, and get a gas guzzler, please buy lots of gas

I agree with Trubble in some regards, they should have a licence and a plate and insurance, just like my Motorbike. Its kinda funny that roads are for Motor Vehicle's, and Sidewalks are for Pedestrian traffic, up until recently Bicycles where considered Pedestrian traffic, but then there was so many, and some of them are iratic, so they couldn't ride on the sidewalk, but there not motor vehicles, or licenced to be on the road with the motor vehicle's. They said, no more riding on the sidewalk, but didn't change anything, they kind of just created a bigger issue.

its funny because of history, think about all the people who where hooked on moriphine in the early 1900's, or cocaine or heroin the dr's where dishing out to people, we know how bad that stuff is, so what where they thinking, heres one, how about that cough is bad, you better start smoking a pack a day, clear you right up!

But now comparing a diabetic to an alcoholic is like comparing apples to orange's!
then comparing a pothead to a crackhead to an alcoholic is like comparing carrots to potatos to beet's!
And drinking doesn't make you an alcoholic, or everyone would be, crack and stuff is not like that, but pot is not like crack! Its just society's conceptions, the bible made people snap to it, western media is making people snap, lose it.

Theres 3 types of people the do not's, who don't smoke or drink or anything!
Theres the do some, they pay their bills, they live in your neighbourhood, they show up for work, there priorities are in order, they have a little drink or a puff once and awhile and life is grand!
Then theres type 3, they have no shut off, and don't know when to stop! Think about when we where kids on the playground and the merry go round that would get spun 100 miles an hour, some kids would get on and get off and never touch it again type 1, some would do it think it was great until they got sick, and said, ok i gotta take it easy, i had enough, and then type 3 they spun till the got sick, and then got back on and went again!
Now here we are all grown up, and everytime 3 does something really stupid, all the 1's get upity and go on the crusade to stop everyone from having fun, in turn making the 2's really mad, with good reason at all the 3's, and its sad, because as 1's and 2's we should be helping the 3's.

Just a thought, and im not saying we need to go this route! but im starting to see some of the benefit some country's who have forced military service, it sure isn't war, but everyone knows how to mess you up 7 ways from sunday before you even knew who hit you.
Everyone should take self defense, they been talking about it for years and years, and theres always alot more people that take it, but theres alot more people.
Although then the criminals just escapade, because criminals feed on the injustice society's law's!

Is that the guy that was headed to Winnipeg! If it was he was on his way home from working in Edmonton at Capital Ex! Its pretty bad, but what i want to know is, who was on this bus, i mean its not even about local hero's or being macho, you can run and scream like a girl, but im not hearing about anybody doing nothing? I mean if someone starts stabbing someobody withing 10 or 20 or 30 feet of you, isn't your safety warning system at super red alert, the old "Maybe im next" somehow going back to playing games on psp wouldn't be my first choice!

Duffster, i never seen you post anything that was inacurate, but this is!
You gotta think about hands too, and everyone has different sized hand's!

A rich guy with the trophy wife talking to his ex, in the ensuing argument she say's yeah but my boobs are real, and he say's, yeah but her's are real big!
Just think about that comment from a ladies perspective, boy's you could have more than a mouthfull, but it probably wouldn't go to waste

omg this is hilarious some of the stuff im reading here, im not disagreeing with some of what's being said, but everyone's missing part of the big picture! (And my personal preferences don't matter) Once a addict always, sure, but that addiction doesn't have to make the person, it's just unfortanate that it often does!
Its society, you can either go to the Dr. and get some pill's, you can smoke a joint, you can go have a few beer's/shot's, you can go off the rail's on a crazy train!...
I love the reference to would you date someone with a history of cancer, Would you not date someone who takes a prescription anxiety medication, or a mild anti depressant, If where talking about someone who did some of that stuff, and is completely clean and sober for years, what about a diabetic!

I think the problem society places on this issue, is that alcoholism is something that causes alot of problem's, but it wasn't talked about, because people need an outlet! I mean for the people who go drinking and don't know when to quit, some people just like to do things the old fashioned way! (Everyone had a bottle stashed up until the 90's or even more recent)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA That was you Fox! wouldn't that be hilarious!

I grew up in the country about an hour nw, there wasn't really hitchikers back then out there, and in the winter you almost had to pick them up, because they hit a ditch, a deer, broke down or ran out of gas, a few times it was even me Knew alot of poeple who hitch hiked alot, never hitched myself for the sake of a ride, one time 6/7 years ago we dropped a roomies buddy off first thing early in the morning, just south of the city we drove for a puff after hitting the timmies! he called us from his sister's from vancouver later that night! #1 tip to the hitchikers guide to canada, A sign that says i have donut's, and/or carry a box of timbits in your hand.

From Judas Priest, and The Police, Motley Crue, Helix... bring on the glam/falsetto singer's! Or the door's, Dr Hook, Johny Cash, i will try to sing anything, i don't think im great at singing just anything, but im sure i can still wail the stuff i could wail!

male vs female drivers
Posted: 7/19/2008 1:59:48 PM
I think you could break this down to a really scientific survey with 50 questions and it would end up a draw! I think men and women are both as capable of stupidity as the other, as well as being capable of compassion and civility! (Men get a bonus to stupidity, women to compassion)
Growing up i lived in the boony's, and since i was old enough to drive, i drove, and ive never noticed that its specifically women or men that are worse than the other's, but i have noticed that in certain situations, there may be one generally better than the other!

Example 1. Motorbike's! (maybe some other long time riders can shed some insight!) if your riding on your motorbike, men driving usually don't mess you up much, they take notice theres a bike and away they go, women tend to get kinda nervous more often from what i seen when a motorbike hits their bubble then men, making them a little less safe (and not necessarily to the person on the bike, but then all the attention is worrying about a bike, and theres a car on the other side...)
Example 2. Pedestrian's! Men are aggressive, they get mad that people are crossing the street, "the person on foot can wait, im driving here"! I think women are way better about stopping for pedestrian's!

I think this kinda thing could go on all day and no sex would take a difinitive lead, i don't even think my examples have to be correct, the motorbike ive noticed, but thats just what i noticed, maybe 2 other long time riders seen the opposite... too many variables that could easily disprove it! But i do think there are small specifics that could go back and forth.

The twisted sister show a couple years ago was at the Telus Stage, and they clusterforked that one, the Edfest set up they had last year was great for people not having to wait in line, theres always a bit of a bottleneck but even at the worst it was shorter than a ride on the ferris wheel

Joan Jett & The Blackheart's will probably be a busy night, i could see alot of people coming out of the woodwork for that one, i know! I Love Rock N Roll!

Polygamy
Posted: 7/17/2008 5:17:26 PM
As for an opinion i don't have one! It wouldn't be for me thats for sure, and its a little weird. But i will say if theres a polygamist relationship, regardless of what else you think, good or bad,
Anyone who thinks the man is in charge! Is totally fooling themself!

The problem that polygamy can bring, There was a Dateline or something about this not to long ago, involving Utah!Because its illegal to be married to more than one, when you have 1 man and many wives, and even more kid's. The government has to kick in alot of money, because the wives are classed as single mother's. And of course now in the places where its more prevelant, like areas of Utah they really buck the system, it costs the government an enormous amount of money, and there are people who are trying to legalize it because they could devise a way to tax these people correctly. And i think the rest of us pay enough taxes as it is... But that is no opinion for or against, just i thought interesting.

Are parents responsible for what their children become?
Posted: 7/16/2008 4:29:00 PM
I think it is the parent's, not always, there can be circumstances that are beyond the parent's, but weve all seen people who sit there kid in front of the TV all day, tell them to get out of there face, pay no attention to their kids, and then say "Oh im a great parent, my kids home with me all day!"

I think alot of parents are very iresponsible, or plain selfish in raising their children, and don't want acountability, because they know they either dropped the ball a little or failed in at least one regard! That doesn't mean its always the parent's either, but i think we all know people with kids, and some are better than other's...

why do big girls think they are average
Posted: 7/15/2008 7:57:53 PM
OMG!~ This started as why would a fat person think there not and lie basically!
Now its turned into "everyone hates fat people", "All men hate fat girl's", and men that i hope kissed and made up!
JERRY! JERRY! JERRY!

I think alot of people, feel that they have to defend themself! And are getting caught up with the wrong issue, especially when They Themself are TOTALLY HONEST! And not under any suspicion." And i don't think anyone can deny, Fat has become an epidemic in North America. It's really sad that theres so many people who are beyond overweight, riding a rail straight to health problem's!
That doesnt mean that that someone whose not in the best of shape doesn't take care of themself!
People who drink and smoke non stop 24/7 are on a rail to health issues too...

Theres nothing wrong with big women, not at all, "i like big butts and i cannot lie" alot of guys will nod approvingly! So thats never been the real issue here!
Just a thought, I make some people mad with how lean i am, should i get all uppity if someone said why do skinny people think there average! When my profile says im thin!

Im not going to be charged, but i would easily turn off incoming texts if it meant no charges, and i personally wouldn't look back, if texting works for you, im glad, heres a blue ribbon, you got a text plan, and who cares about what wont affect you! This thread is hilarious, if texting wasn't a pointless waste of time usually, (i agree some texts are important, and can be convenient, but all those teenagers need to know everything that happens every 20 seconds or they will die?)
Then in here so many people wasting time and getting all worked up because someone else doesn't like text's!

And be careful if you make a smartass comment and you don't add something about a gerbil you better watch out, youll get a email from idontknowshit telling you how your the worst person ever, but i laugh at all that wasted emotion, i just think its funny im calling the kettle black,

Bankrupcy
Posted: 7/11/2008 7:14:57 PM
This is redicilious! Why don't they start giving incentives to people who payed off their debt's, or even better have no debt, i know 1 guy that doesn't for sure

REDICILIOUS! Way to push the people that aren't weasel down another peg!
Im thinking that the only way that any bankrupcy would work is if there was more negative for filing it, i think this is beyond stupid! And yeah it can help thousands of peoples, but what about the other million's!
Although i shouldn't be suprised, criminals have more right then the victim's, so it was only a matter of time that people who are no good with there money get saved and people who are get to suck a lemon!

But on the flipside, it's not without penalty. Bankruptcy does not do your credit any favors, so I suppose one has to weigh that out too.

Rich peoples kid's, because then daddy doesn't have to pay for school, and really credit rating doesn't matter, daddy will float him for not having to pay tuition! lol

Abuse of foreign workers unavoidable, Alta. Tories suggest
Posted: 7/11/2008 6:40:11 PM
Wow It says right there on the sight "you failed your trade ticket twice in Alberta, Come to Toronto, Guaranteed approval" That is scary scary stuff!
I don't have a ticket in nothing, i been working, but i guess its time, cause i probably know more than half the electrician's, carpenter's and mechanics out there (I know thats not true, but WOW AND HOLY! Nobody that i don't know will be touching any of my machines any time soon )

Really makes me wonder about some of the other "Special" training for "certain" groups of people!
Its something i was thinking 10+ years ago when i worked at a Semi-Truck Dealership!

I know i have heard many things about people coming out of different courses than the one everyone else took
I always figured that there was more to it, and maybe there was, maybe they get churned out, and don't need to make the same standards as everyone else to pass, then they go to work with a "ticket" that makes them the be all end all, but don't have the same level of knowledge as the "regular's" and inevitably you get alot of crying foul about stupid bosses, while the bosses foul about stupid trainee's! And the system that's trying to help these people might be at fault of something!! Hmmm I hate to think, that almost sounds reasonable!

Plates
Posted: 7/11/2008 6:11:09 PM
I still am not buying this whole thing, i went online and found the site straight from the source, and there saying an unprecedented amount of people contributed to the survey, 33000, we could lose that many people in a corner of Edmonton or Calgary!

Im sure it was online, and nobody really found it, the thing that really put it into perspective for me, i work in a shop with alot of people of all ages, and guys that read the paper everyday, nobody knew about this at all!

Although if they are running out of plate numbers, are we gonna get more "characters" added, that could open up alot of novelty plate idea's! Maybe it will be like Europe, and nobodys plates will fit on their vehicles, and i know that sounds really stupid, but im sure the Registry would have the "kit" for sale to mount it! LOL

The fact about the provincial moto is interesting, and adds an element to the cause!
But the logistical bullshit remains!
I got a totally new idea in a different direction! Instead of plates for vehicles, or cutting anyone a cheque, how about fixing some pavement!
I hit a pothole on the way home, i went so deep i saw a t-rex, or maybe ot was t-rex on 97, but driving home should never be confused with journey to the center of the earth! Even if for only a minute

the reason i think this is dumb, isn't because the idea in itself is stupid!
I see the novelty of it, but that's part of the problem as well, its a novelty act, when i see them pull out the smoke and mirror's, i get scared
Then just think of the actual number of plates, i think it would be easily a billion, because, all the transport truck's and permanent trailers would need to be changed, anyone with a 5th wheel or pull behind "permanent trailer" wouldn't be permanent!then think theres personal vehicles and commercial, fleet, buse's, cab's, police, firetruck's, ambulance, Streetbike's, dirtbikes, quad's. Its not just the comuting vehicle's! Aside from that, im not a military man, but i think the "Alberta Veteran Plates" kick enormous ass!

It just seems there's more things they could do than come up with some****mamie scheme to force us into dishing out for a billion plates.
Obviously this isn't the whole side of it, but i was thinking, A few years ago the goverment sent us some money! Now all i see is the government is dreaming up ways to get back more of our money! they have how many bazillions, and there thinking up things that would cost us, sure it would cost them more, but i highly doubt it would be free shiny plate for all plated vehicle day in Alberta, wouldn't it be 1000% better to just cut us all a cheque if we payed taxes!

No way vin the government would never do that, that would be like making all the hunters and ranchers register their rifles, to stop street crime with illegal handguns in Ontario, never would happen! lol

Maybe since the jail's are overcrowded, they need some make-work projects, hey! everyone need's to be reissued plates! Are they going to make us pay if they do this, of course they will, as if they would change this and not charge us for their "great idea"

Yikes, Strong and Free! they need a grasp on reality! That idea suck's! Nothing in Alberta is Free! Not even texts soon!
What's next are we going to burn all the books, so that nobody will remember anything from history less than 100 years old, keep information on a need to know basis, and do it all over again!
Its Wild Rose Country! Because its good its bad its ugly, but Alberta always comes up roses!
Maybe, just maybe "The True North Strong & Free" like Oh Canada! But then we need Yukon and NWT to join up again hahaha!
Right before we joined, Saskatchewan and Alberta almost formed one province to join into Canada, but the brains out east, didn't think it was fair for one province to have any unfair advantage over the rest of the country hahahahaha

If where strong and Free, whose weak and oppressed? Saskatchewan, then BC is gonna be "Good and Hi"!, its TOTALLY REDICILIOUS!
To me the whole idea sounds like an Eagle Bending a Beaver over a Barrell!
And if they put that on a picture, and get a catchy slogan, i might buy it!

Women swoon over men with stubble
Posted: 7/9/2008 8:40:17 PM
^^ Wow why so defensive, strike a cord did I!

I didn't say that anyone should draw a line, go back, i said its perfectly fine to not settle, but if thats the only reason and reocurring, you need to evaluate yourself! i used to think i wouldn't settle either, that was egomaniacal, notice i pointed out in the post i know men and women that do this, so how am i attacking you, you feel attacked, so therefore i must have hit it pretty close to the truth!
At the end of the day everyone has to compromise, thats what a relationship is, and depending on who you ask, or what thesauras you use, it could be deemed the same thing compromising and settling! Does that mean settle, ABSOLUTELY NOT! But did you consider compromise, or jump straight to settle!

Anyhow, i hope im not the only person that reads this and see that my point is proven!

ok so is it just me, but i see that this report proved nothing!
and i have to comment
I don't think most of us are looking for tall, dark, and handsome with a 6-pack

I believe this, im tall dark and... but

and a 6 figure income, but no, I'm not gonna settle either. Too picky!

When i made 5 figure's i had alot of women trying to chase me down, and none of them where of any substance, like cotton candy fun but unraveled into nothing! Im not disagreeing, because that can be completely true, but i know for a fact, men and women that i know, who are friends, and they are too picky, they say "i don't want to settle" alot, when they meet a great guy who they see potential with, but think that there perfect fantasy dream man is just around the corner!
I know that not settling is important, but im absolutely sure that "SOME" people, use it as an excuse to not have to justify themself, "i wont settle" end of story... If your saying this about one person every so often, then fine, but if your saying this about every guy, then you really cant put your finger on the reason, just that you don't want to settle! If you cant tell yourself the actual reason, his hygeine, his lack of money, his lack of penis, whatever the reason, "i wont settle" is like saying, theres nothing wrong, i just feel like i deserve better! And thats pretty conceited of you! Haven't you ever wondered how/why some of those old hagerty ones are the way they are, because when they where in there 20''s-30's, they woulnd't settle either!

why do big girls think they are average
Posted: 7/9/2008 7:36:37 PM
also the term "Average" is kinda degrating!
I think the key is to thy self be true!
I find a girl who knows shes big and rocks that, is way more attractive, then a frumpy average, and guys you know this is true, confidence is key, and its not one size of people that have a issue with confidence!

And i agree with Fox, because of the "average" i could be easily classed "Athletic" but im not because im not chiseled from granite, but compared to some of the average, i could be Mr. Olympia, even if i am a bit smaller and the strongest, its not my fault! i don't even exercise So i put thin, for me by the BMI or Canadian food guys, im underweight, ive dated women of all sorts of types and sizes, and all of them where attractive for their own reasons, because obviously i was attracted, the only real fear i have is asituation where i might be confused for food

If they worked? how would there possibly be such a market!
And thats all i gotta say about that!

Everyone wants better fuel economy, and alot of people are desperate to try anything, just like people will buy anything!
Don't believe me, remember the forum about bottled water...!

If you can prove this actually works, doesnt blow out your seals/gaskets, or start a fire under the hood, im all ear's, but when i hear something that sounds too good to be true!

What do guys want?
How about not being clumped into one group for once! Someone is posting about Beer, some men don't drink! Wouldn't it be nice guys if a little more often you could express yourself, without having women decide how you are!
I would love to meet a women who doesn't just listen to what they want, to make the assumption they want, so that they can go on guiltless, When guys do the exact same thing often there scumbags, only want a skinny girl or some other bullsthit!
Guys probably want all this equality, to actually balance!

Because we know "all women............!!" Yeah Right! Yet in a "all guys" its acceptable and people think they know, your all men now? im not all men, im just speaking about this one, and i know it not quite that bad, but sometimes its bad!

Ok, so all this "how dare they charge me for things i cant control"

Like thats not happening everyday around here, your always paying for things you have no control of, you pay alot for vehicle insurance, because other people don't insure, drive like madmen or the like, well im paying for something i cant control, no matter how much of a old grandpa you drive, or crazy you drive, unless your in a accident, your both paying based on being idiot's! Theres tons of things people pay for that they cant control, i mean you need 35c to make a call from a payphone, so 20 cents to call someone on my cell might almost seem reasonable, just something to ponder!

I still say i think texts are generally a waste, i know people that text allot, and there just going to have to change their habits, we all want the price of gas to drop, but will everyone stop buying gas and park their car's, nope, so why should cell phones be any different. (i don't agree, but i totally see the cell companie's side of this, and like was said, texts and transfer's require bandwidth, people just asume theres an infinent amount of bandwidth but theres not, thats why there was the huge kerfufle over all tv going digital, there going to use what was "airial signal's" for bandwidth, and they still need more!) Supply and demand, theres not enough supply for the demand, so they need to free up some bandwidth, this is one way to clear alot of the useless text traffic they have! And im sorry i know cronic texter's, and at least 1/3-1/2 of the texts they send have no reason, except that they felt like texting or sending a joke.

I don't think this is going to affect nearly as many people nearly as much as they think, it just makes everyone nervous! I mean the reason i find it funny, is at least twice a year theres a email about hotmail is going to start charging if you don't sign this, i always delete it, and here from friends as soon as they signed it, they get lots of spam!

So in the big scheme of things, this isn't suprising, everyone wants a raise, and that means that you have to pass the charges to your customer's, phone companys have employees and where the customer's!
By all means get a petition, but im sure this whole thing will fizzle before it comes to fruition!

Texting is a waste of time for people who are too dumb to actually talk and don't want to actually go on messenger because they can't spell!

Im just going to disable incoming text's, i have a cell phone, not a cell keyboard,

Well i don't have any kid's, but i have some experience with this, the happiness, the anxiety

Theres a definate fine line, and it depend's on the situation, Taking it slow is good, although depending on the age of the kid's, like teenager's and grown up kid's are sometime's not worth trying to bullshit! So you may want them to meet the kids, or some activity to break that ice, but you can still take it slow and not imerse everyone in a conjoined life! I know i was far from perfect im sure, but i think i did a very good job in all situation's, when things where serious, I always tried to talk to the father when involved, and possible, everyone needs to be on the same page, and i never handed out no discipline to kid's that wheren't mine in any bad way, but i knew where to get em, make them talk to me about their feeling's, sometimes they even talked, usually they just hated it, but at the end of the day, me annoying them, coulda saved them from really getting in trouble with the boss Or actually help gain everyone insight into something! Even if that thing is stupidity!

As far as kids calling me daddy, i don't know about that one, just like calling me uncle, I don't have nephew's or neice's, but there are a few kid's that do call me uncle, there just the offspring of some of my friend's!

Not so Happy hour

I used to drink, but i havent for years, i heard about this, it made me chuckle.
Im not agreeing, i think there logic is flawed!

But what i find the funniest about this, is how people are always going on about everything that they don't do, like the issue of smoking to non smoker's, people who don't smoke say, they should be expensive, then people wont smoke!

Booze should be more expensive, then people wouldn't drink! (No theyll spend it..)

The biggest problem i see coming out of this, is the less desirable people, for example those on assistance that are going to take more away from their kids!

Life.....

What would Sinatra say!
*Clearing throat sound!

Thats life, that's what all the people say, your ridin hi in April, shot down in May.
But I know I'm gonna change that tune, When I'm back on top, back on top in June.
I said that's life, and as funny as it may seem, Some people get their kicks, Stompin' on a dream,
But I don't let it, let it get me down, 'Cause this fine ol' world it keeps spinning around
~I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, A poet, a pawn and a king.
I've been up and down and over and out, nd I know one thing,
Each time I find myself, flat on my face, I pick myself up, and get back in the race!

Japan dealing with Fat
Posted: 6/27/2008 8:03:57 PM
Why isn't it realistic in North America? do you mean the size is unrealistic, or making something like this happen!
I don't think the cookie cutter numbers would work, but i think this could easily be adapted to North America! How many morbid obese Mexicans do you see? Not that many!

Its pretty asinide to think the government is going to take care of all your health issues, but you don't have to do anything to attempt to take care of yourself, look at the morbidly obese (Not the slightly overweight or something) but if you do nothing to combat it and say thing's "i cant lose weight, i dieted for 3 day's and nothing happened! So I just gave up and ate 43 cheeseburger's"

Well it boils down to the fact, that we all know is true, too many people are WAY TOO fat and need to do something about it, Remember that to non smoker's, smoking is rude/disgusting, (not to condone smoking, i want to quit, but at least half of the cost is tax, a fast food meal is netting tte government nothing) and i can totally understand that from their side of it, i get disgusted by someone whose shorter than me and weighs at least 3X what i do! Thats disgusting! (Again, not someone whose mildly overweight, alot of people have a few extra and take care of themself, thats all fine) Anyones whose been to the USA in the past 5-10 years, has had to have a situation where they saw some person who was so big it just made you feel sick to see it! Or you just wont admit it! During my last trip to the US, while i was at a steakhouse in St. Louis, I ordered a salad, the server said to me, why are you eating a salad, your in good shape!
Where not much different than our neighbours, but i think that most of us are way more health concious!

Im not disagreeing with you there Northern, but don't get too carried away with how men always get screwed, my dad went to court which was almost unseen, and he won and raised me alone, that was back in 1977, and im sure the courts are less against men on principle now!
When my ex hit the crackpipe, i went to court to keep the kid that was living with me, he had his grandma, grandpa, stepdad, and they choose me (i was just the guy he lived with), so it can't always be "hes a man=Nope!"
I think parts of what you said, promote laziness, "oh im a man i cant win" is a huge excuse not to try and be conscious free!
I don't think thats what you where trying to convey, nor do i think thats whats happening here! I sure hope this works out for him, what a shitty situation, i could only imagine how tore up this is making him feel. I just thought i should post a couple of things to show that its not Man=no!

Japan dealing with Fat

Yes the shorter guys would have a smaller waste, and body fat would have to be acounted, a 240 pound wrestler, would have a bit bigger waist, but 0.003% fat!
I myself am 6'0 and have a 28" waist! But what im curious to know, is what about the Sumo Wrestlers, clearly by this they would be overweight/fat or whatever, but thats there job/livelyhood!
Lets just take this worldwide, people really need to trim some fat out there!

There's more people alive on the planet right now, than have ever lived combined in all of history! Since every person breath's oxegyn and releases carbon dioxide. and exerts about the same heat as a 60Watt light bulb, its not just vehicles or whatever that are creating global warming! Just like energy, food is becoming an issue, Therefore people need to consume less, I know the americans will shudder the thought, since consumption has become there passtime. There was a thing about energy yesterday saying if the whole world ran at the level of North America for energy, we would need 3 earths just to harness the resources needed, so how many alberta's will it take to keep beef on my plate!

Im not sure if Japan needed to do this, but i think somebody did!

Is talking online cheating?
Posted: 6/27/2008 5:46:37 PM

because the new g/f may be all Glenn Close/Fatal Attraction about him having female friends?

All the people here want the right one, and ive seen profiles with at least 2000 words about what they don't/wont want! But theres always ones dating people like that, or with some other defenciancy! In my opinion if this was the case, and there sticking it out, then you kinda reap what you sew! That doesn't mean i condone talking intimately online, but you cannot be sneaky about "friend's" because your gf is jealous, if your not doing anything wrong, your creating distrust! If theres nothing "shady" going on, tell them, if they cant handle it, do you really want to live your life with a soul sucking leach!

Well a week later in E-Town, they run specialized "Exhibition" buses for some of the park and ride locations, you just need to know when these buses run, im not in calgary, but i would check the calgary transit site, they probably have a "stampede info link" with all the what4!

Do you own a house, a car, make 6 figures, and have a bachelor of something or a doctorate?
Well they added all those things into simple pull down menu's on the site!
So, theres no way it can matter! HUH

The funny thing is, some people own homes and have nothing but the home, not even food just to have a home, some people live with a friend or whatever, but have tons of money put away and could easily buy a house.....
Some of the poorest people i know, are just dumb, but they wont ever think to save, they prefer to complain! Then theres people i wonder how they do it, and they do awesome there smart and accountable!

And i think this is insane, Its not even about if youd date the person if... its how the hell is that any of your business, just the thought of me asking a women this makes me want to slap myself upside the head!
if i was going down this road, i want to make sure we can get along, who cares about house's if where going to want to strangle each other later

Rumor has it

WOOT WOOT!

Other than whats said here, i know the original "concept" Would take out CN! Because anywhere else means alot more destruction first i think! and absorb that big piece leftover from the train yard, remember when they developed up Grant McEwan, then the casino, now the arena could go from 101st all the way to 97th across from City Hall on 104th Ave.
I seen the concept picture of what it "could" look like there! (Think "Like" Air Canada Center in Toronto)
And i say BRING IT~ There's already a Transit "HUB" and a viable pedway to get fans to and from the LRT (Through City Hall)! Theres no way they can not have people able to take the LRT for hockey in any city. I just hope they stay with the full idea of an arena, Hotel... and the built in parkade! There is proabably more areas, and maybe theyll just take a big chunk of some other undesirable spot downtown. I just cant think of any where you can utilize the LRT as much, and not have to rework the whole transit system!

YEAH YEAH!

... "Obsessed" with "the girls" maybe didn't have the same ring to it.

Although on review its probably all Abba's fault why i cant help looking at blonde's
