Class action against Yahoo Personals and Match.com for fraud
Posted: 11/19/2005 7:49:20 PM | | I had a profile on both match.com and yahoo personals and i found that this has happened to me on both of the sites. I thought it was quite a coincidence that I would get winks and emails from very handsome guys, and then receive an email about a "wonderful" offer to join at a reduced rate for 30 days. If I kept my "free" profile and tried to wink or flirt back -- suddenly these "wonderful" guys were no longer there! I now wish I would have kept the emails and winks, just to see what happens. As far as dating sites go, I agree that you have to take everything with a grain of salt. So far, I am happy with POF. I've had some nice chats with people and hopefully will continue to do so, as I continue my search. | | | |
