How to Kill a Date
Posted: 12/5/2005 8:42:06 PM
Hi, Possible reasons for dates to end suddenly are: bad table manners, talking about the EX,
bad language, being boring, treating your date with disrespect--like she was going to do or did the things your EX did. Thats a big date killer. Each woman is different. Another thing that will kill a date is talking about sex you expect, because you bought dinner. It don't work that way guys!! So many guys jump into dating right after the divorce or while waiting for the divorce and they don't have their heads & hearts straight yet. I think all divorced people should wait a year before starting to date, that way they get the emotional baggage settled.
They have gotten into being alone and independent again. Finances have settled into whatever pattern for child support and visitation, and whatever arrangements, Or Dad with the kids nowdays. Alot of men are getting custody of their children and doing a good job of raising their children.
A date killer sometimes is the limited amount of time for dating because of children. And having to hide the fact you are dating again from the EX to keep from causing problems.
