I am neither a chemist nor a clinician, but I work in HC economics. An MD described Plan B as a large dose of the Pill. I understand there are various types of the Pill. Anti-choice people call it, the Pill, and the IUD abortificients, and if they had their way, abortion, Pill, IUD would all be illegal And for the record, my sweetie suffered no ill effects from Plan B, other than me asking her if she was ok every hour.

The condom had fallen out at some point and I had to fish it out. I think we were resonsible in getting Plan B rather than saying, "Ah, fvck it, accidents happen." They do happen with condoms and we've decided to go with the femdom now. But if the same thing happened again (and it easily could) I'd get Plan B again. More of a public interest announcement, but like Jeopardy, must be phrased as a question: Are you aware that a US Federal Court finally struck down FDA rules lowering the age of purchasing OTC Plan B to 17 yesterday? One more small reversal of the Bush war on science and logic. Personal experience: I recently had to buy it. I'm 41, look at least 30. They required photo ID from me. I asked how old you have to be and she said she didn't know, she just had to check IDs. Do you think 16, 15, or even 14 year olds should be required to obtain a doctors script to obtain the med?
