40s and 50s isn't so bad, its understandable. 70's and 80's would be a little off, but I can see you point about the maturity.

I've had like 3 :( All of them had terrible grammar too. Kind of creepy. I think its because of my age. :/

Have I become too cynical?
Posted:

In my eyes I suppose it is a good thing that you've taken on that attitude, it means that everytime it happens it won't affect you so badly. On the other side of the argument it is not a good thing to be in that cynical mood all the time. If you can learn to be in a semi-optimistic mood but still have that slight cynical attitude behind it, that would work great. So while dating, don't have that "oh well, she'll probably dump me attitude" stay upbeat and if that moment of rejection happens again, you'll always have that cynical attitude to fall back on so it doesn't hit you so hard.

What is your favorite type of sex?
Posted:

I think my favorite would be really rough doggystyle while he pulls my hair back. I dunno it just seems alot more passionate, and it feels better. I'm into that whole being taken over kind of feeling.

What percent of your time together is physically intimate.
Posted:

I'd say 25% of our time together is intimate. I mean, we have our daily time constrants of things like work and school. And we also like just spending time together without just jumping into sex. but that 25% is trully hot

senior class song

Kenney Chesney-Young
Eve 6-Here’s to the Night
Oliver James-Ride of Your Life
Corey Smith-I’m Not Gonna Cry
The Five Stair steps-Ooh Child
Goapele-Closer
Europe-The Final Countdown
Aerosmith-Dream On
Bon Jovi-Welcome to Wherever You Are
Those are the choices for the senior class song at my school this year.
I'm voting for Dream On but honestly most of those choices kind of suck lol
What was your class song when you graduated high school?

Censorship in Art
Posted:
4/3/2008 7:28:20 AM
So i'm working on a research paper for a class and I chose Art Censorship as my topic. So heres the question: Is the censorship of fine art really neccesary? I'm just looking for opinions on the topic.
Supporting argument points-
-Parents should be able to choose whether or not there kids see nudity
-It's against some religious morals
-Anything else?
Against censorship- (This is my standpoint)
-The portrayal of nudity in fine art is presented in a tasteful manner and should be left uncensored.
-What are you all so worried about? I can't imagine a guy getting off to a mural on the side of a building. How many guys would stand on the sidewalk and stare at it, then start masturbating right there and then in public?
-Freedom of expression is being denied with censorship
Any other points? I'd like to hear everybodies opinions on the topic, it would help me with my paper. ^_^
I'm open to all opinions and statements on the topic of art censorship.

Atheism a big thing?
Posted:
4/3/2008 5:18:38 AM
I'm an athiest, and I've dated a christian boy once. At first we were fine with each other beliefs. But when his mother and him tried to convert me.. ew. lol Everyone has their own beliefs, I'm fine with that, but the moment they force them on me. I don't like that one bit. I think as long as there is respect between both people in the relationship reguarding their religion, it doesn't really matter. Though I imagine a clash of morals might happen once in a while.

Can't move on.....What to do?
Posted:

I've been in a situation like yours. I couldnt get over this one guy and it tore me apart. Only difference is we still talked and were friends. Well in the last year we've been talking less and less. I got a new boyfriend, and my friends helped get my mind of him. Now that I think back on him, all those emotions have faded to just a friendship feeling. My advice to you, do the things you enjoy in life, be in good company, and try to find new love. All those things help your heart heal in my opinion.

Ladies, do you actually feel when a guy comes?
Posted:

I had a partner who would actually NOT get caught up in the harder thrusting.... when he was about to peak, he would just go in deep and hold himself there.... I could feel everything... the growing harder and bigger and then the pulsating and spurting as he exploded.
Damn your lucky :( I'm not past the condom stage lol

World Autism Day - Wednesday 2nd April
Posted:

My 9 year old sister is autistic and I'm really happy to see world autism day. :) I love that people are trying to get awareness out. My sister was diagnosed at 3 years old. For a while my mom just thought my sister was just very needy, or maybe she was in some sort of pain and that was why she cried so much. Shes been going to school since 4 years old to help catch up education-wise.

can you trust some one once they cheat?
Posted:
4/2/2008 5:19:56 AM
No! Because I was the kind of idiot that gave 2nd, 3rd, and 4th chances. They just keep walking all over you. Besides once you break that trust its extremely hard to gain it back. Besides, I couldn't push myself to have sex with him after that, it felt too awkard. Just imaging another girl with him, it made me too uneasy.

Poke Me & Die
Posted:
4/2/2008 5:15:57 AM
Eh.. I've met girls like you. It's not a matter of him being the problem. It's more like your outlook on his behavior is the problem. Unless hes had a previous record of cheating on you, then you have no reason to show so much distrust in him. Lack of trust can ruin a relationship. And In my opinion there can't be love without trust.
"I still love him, but not how he treats me anymore."
that sentence bothers me mostly because, the only way it seems hes changed is that hes grown a pair and started doing what he wants. Hes your boyfriend, not a pet to command on a whim.
Also, just because hes doing harmless physical contact like poking doesn't mean he wants the girl hes doing it to. People communicate in different ways and for some physical contact is just part of how they converse.
I think you just need an attitude change and to get over trust issues. You say hes not respecting your feelings yet your the one with a 2 foot leash around his neck, let him breathe a little!

Across the Universe: Why all the 20 somethings watching this movie?
Posted:
4/2/2008 5:04:10 AM
Well, I'm 18 years old but my mom raised me with a musical atmosphere. She'd usually listen to the beatles and thats how I came to like them. I don't know about those other 20 somethings but for me it hit home. For them, I'm not sure, my guess is that they can connect with the whole love plot. Aswell as the anti-war aspects. We're another generation of teenagers who went through times of war, but sadly we don't do much in ways of protest. I thought it was really clever though how they tied in all the songs to match the movie. But yeah, I do love the movie, and though I was born 30 something years later, its a great movie. It makes me wish that society was more like back in the 60's. Everybody had strong beliefs and they were'nt afriad to voice their opinion. :)

I agree entirely.
The other day my boyfriend had to go to a play at the local college so he had to dress up. Damn he looked amazing. Reminded me of a teacher. <3
Most people probably don't get the attraction but I love the whole teacher-student scenario.

are some people not MEANT to be in relationships?
Posted:
4/1/2008 2:55:36 PM
Well... I suppose some people are just not meant to be in relationships. My boyfriends ex is a good example of that. Seriously the most clingy, paranoid, jealous girl you'd ever meet. I'm not just saying that because shes his ex. I think maybe she was that clingy because her mom commit suicide and she didn't want to be alone. Maybe by being alone she can cope and heal. I don't know, but she was terrible in relationships. Cried about everything, complained about everything. I know other people see that shes not mature enough for a relationship but I don't think she realizes it. As for myself, I feel that I'm great in relationships, it makes me feel calm and at ease. Though I do think there are some people out there, who need to at the very least stay away from dating for a little while.

Well my boyfriend tells me that sex is alot better then masturbation. Hes not one to lie to me lol. Well I know he masturbates, it doesn't really bother me. It's a natural thing, besides I'm not always so willing to have sex with him everytime he wants it. It used to bother me with previous boyfriends, but not so much anymore.
