He didn't say it was easier nowadays....he said it was easier for women relatively speaking! I couldn't agree more. I met women who were confused, hypocritical, or you have to accept everything about them but the are disrepectful or run away when they find something that isn't perfect about the guy...

Yes, I agree....why not have a means test if you're a millionaire. I once believed the hype and his public relations efforts of several years ago. With all his flip flops(caught on tape), his permanent tax cuts for the wealthy, and his effort to block the recent G.I. Bill....he's is an obvious hypocrite! Please quote the source on this.... If you like yourself...then its great to be single. As for finding some one who is nice, considerate, not self-absorbed, and won't run when issues come up....good luck! I 've been where you're at...and I do completely emapathize! Some of the women on these sites are repugnant and hypocritical. Enjoy life by yourself without being dependent upon the validation from another person. When a good woman comes around, she'll add to your life , not be your life. Take care of yourself....

Try not to worry as much and do what will make you grow as a person. I'm happy and I'm twice your age, but I still don't have life figured out. We all had unhealthy relationships and I'm sure I've contributed to some of the crap. Don't give up but don't focus on it. Live and stay healthy and do what's right for you.... Ken

It probably started to fade away when women started earning a paycheck but still expected the guy to pay for everything because of his gender! I actually got yelled at by a woman merely for holding the door open for her. However, the dinner arrangement should have been discussed by both of you beforehand.
