1 more thing, if the ads here need to be blocked for the reason i am having ths problem then why have the ads? i know for money but there has to be some integrity to a working website to be free of issues like this? so can i ask you all this, with out web blocker would u have the same problem that i do??

hey, well i did get the older version of firefox 2.0.0.16, still have that problem but internet explore works alot better on here but it did still freeze up and stopped responding. i dont know what add to block on here with ad blocker, i do all the maintenace stuff regualarly. i have verizon fios with a 20 mbps upload and download connection. P4 computer, 2.o mhz processor, 1 gig of memory, and a 512 mb video card. not sure i am having a problem either. weird isnt it? especialy sice IE stinks and slow compaired to firefox but thats for the help and words of concern, but this proble is recent and since i installed firefox 3.0 maybe some of the registry stuff is being used by the older version i have now??? not a program guru but who knows??

I don't think that's the problem, it's the video they have for match.com, i think it's this new version 3.0 from firefox, i have to find an older version of firefox, i had no problems before either. internet explorer did do it a few times to but not as bad. i have Webroot's Spy Sweeper for blocking of ad's it never does this to my browser. if i get an older version of firefox and it solves the problem then i will let you if that worked. i there are some plugins that are not compatable with the new version of firefox so i think that may be the issue. check your version if u dont have version 3.0 dont upgrade it! :)

I think there may be a computability problem with that add for match.com you have on your website. Every time that ad is being loaded onto the web page it makes Firefox and Internet Explorer not respond. I have allowed Microsoft to get the error message and contact the Firefox people about this issue. I have uninstalled Firefox and the problem still persists. I cannot uninstall Internet Explorer so but I don't use that browser much anyway. I have Firefox's latest version (3.0.1). I don't know what kind of advertisement Match.com is using but I think that is culprit. Hope you can figure it out! :)

Well I agree with you on the AVG. Get the inter security version 8 and use it for the free days they give you. And get rid of everything else you mentioned on here. If you have anything installed for anti-virus, spyware,firewall, whatever, get rid of it. This does it all and very well I may add.
