Well as of next friday it will be state wide except for ozark river and i think its the missouri river. Which i dont understand but i guess thats Jeff city for ya. lol

Yeh the current and black are federal mandated streams, meramac is state, but they passed the law back in may and goes in effect on aug 28th.

They have that posted at the resorts, but not until august 28th. Then no jello shots, beer bongs, keggers, beads. But you can still get a ticket if you litter any of that stuff or nudity lol. But i think most of the rangers are gonna be down at the bull float this weekend. The river will be ours hahahahahaha

I spent an hour last nite writing up the event and sent it to the moderator for approval, but since i'm mean and have a negative attitude i'm gonna pass. I have it saved and if anyone is interested in taking the event over i can email the all the details. thanks and you all have fun

Wow, where did that come from? Check the post again, i put midnite and i was having fun with it is all, i wasnt upset or mad, i knew you said ya was gonna be late. You and sam was trying to put up an old but very good shape tent. I just stepped up when you all got tired of messing with it lol. I stood back and was trying to figure how to set it up(the cross arms),I didnt think i was being negative about it. I would have given you my extra tent if 2funnyhaha didnt need it first and my brother offered for you to crash in the camper instead of your truck. We all was teasing about the how the truck was packed. I"m sorry if i had sounded mean it was not my intent, it was all in fun. I thought it was one of the best trips i've had in yrs.

I wrote the moderate and if its cool i'll post the event at washington state park for the 16th a sunday. Its has very limit rentals and usually all reservated the weekend before so you'd have to be quick to rent or bring something to float on. I've seen ppl in tubes float it but you dont have any place to put lunch or drinks. I float that section a cpl times a yr so i know it like the back of my hand. But being limited cant guanitee alot ppl will go, worth a shot terry

No, they put in 6 miles up from hwy 67 and st francios state park. They offer a 6 mile and 2 mile float. This time a yr you'll drag alot doing the 6 miler and the 2 miler isnt worth the money in my opinion.

Looks like me and my brother are in, think i got it all worked out finally(i think) . He's off friday so we'll be bringing his camper and it wont be after dark this time lol. Sounds like its gonna be a party on the river and end up in the bar hehehehe. I dont want to miss this one for sure. A great way to end the summer with a BLAST. ps i dont want to step on you toes rhonda(only time i'll mention this promise), but if anyone interested in a family float for the kids around the 9th or 16th, email me. Its not gonna be posted as an offical event, just if you want to do something with the kids before school. sorry and thks rhonda

I called washington state park, their too small to set up for anything real big, they have like 8 canoes and a cpl rafts. You can look up their website just type in washington state park desoto mo, and see their price's. If you pass it around by word of mouth(emails lol) instead of officially setting up an event, might be able to set something up the weekends of the 8th or 15th. I have my own kayaks so i dont have to rent. Its a 3 mile float and i've seen ppl on tubes or even small rafts and takes 3-5 hrs to float depending how much swimming you do. Spread the word and see what we have terry

I wouldnt see why no kids, just remember ppl are gonna be drunk. But even on our adult float, i didnt see anyone naked and it was a party section of the river. This section is pretty mellon, it will be our group you have to watch. Sin dont count me out yet, just a bunch of crap i have to deal with and lately i've been in a pretty deep funk and having a hard time getting out of. The empty nest syndrome and realizing i'm gonna grow old alone and i dont like cats hmmmmmm. oh well later

After 4 yrs i get the hint, I think its easier not to date then to keep getting disappointed. BUT anyway if you want to do a day float, i could make a few calls and see what i can do. You can maybe post it as family friendly but not limited to. I'd ask the moderate too. Washington state park on Big river is a nice float, its a 3 or 6 mile float. Its in my neck of the woods and i know it like the back of my hand, you saw me working on my float trip i know what i'm doing lol. But with the float on aug 21 coming soon, you might not get too many ppl OR you might get alot that want to do something with the kids before school starts. who knows

Not sure i can make it out that far the next cpl weekends, plus I'm broke so i couldn't afford to rent anything or camp. If your interested in something a little closer and doing a day trip, there's a new outfitter in eureka, don't know much about them, and Washington state park south of desoto but their limited on the number of rafts and canoes available. If you need any help on that holler. Sorry cant be anymore help but this summer has been pretty crappy and I'm deleting my profile after the float trip on the 21st,which i don't think i cant make either, i guess I'm fun but not datable.

I have to put my kid first, unlike my ex, his welfare is more important then my dating life. I hope everyone that sign's up, show's up. On my float 28 signed up, 9 showed up, but we still had a great time. Its not as huge as Ozark or Huzzah valley which makes it nice and if it's still there they had a bar. But i havnt been there in about 6-8yrs so i dont know.
