This is true. Guys act like this with their friends a lot. I know that when women find out they often are disgusted. I'd not worry about it, unless he was dating a girl and talking about cheating. That should be a red flag.

I agree with Frrosty. Just let him know that it's too soon if he pushes a bit for it and you'll intiate it when you're ready. Personally, more than anything I hate having to guess because of mixed signals.

Well after 2 to 3 months of steadily seeing each other or talking each day I would think it's safe to say that there is at least a little bit of attraction on both your parts! :P You could bring it up if you want the title and say you're her BF. You should know her well enough by now to know what she'd think of this.

Rebound. Honestly find someone to just spend alot of time with. I did that and it helped alot to just be occupied with someone else, we're not dating per say, but I just spend alot of time with this new person to forget the old...

If a girl tried I'd go for it. I met a girl in the store once we just happened to be shopping for the same stuff and started talking. We exchanged numbers and still talk with each other, although she lives too far away for a relationship. But hey! it does work...

I will admit though, I often respond less to people I can't see. It is a bit shallow I suppose, but like your title says...that's the real world. Looks matter. I will love you forever if you cook for me, lol. My roommate does all the time and in turn I cuddle up with her from time to time. Sex and food work good for me, but I do like to just cuddle alot...sounds funny I guess...but true! Oh yes, and make up isn't a must...many women are plenty beautiful enough without it.

And isn't marriage (or shouldn't it be) more a basis of best friends who just happen to find one another physically attractive? yes, and no. I think you should feel like best friends but still have a deeper connection, partly being physical. It's a complicated thing, but I think your original post was pretty accurate.

Ok so I'm curious, how many dates do you normally go on before you: Kiss Hold hands consider yourself "bf and gf" etc. anything else you can think of. I'm seeing this girl and we're going on a third date tonight, we're both kind of shy though so we haven't done any of that! We did hug afterward...but I don't think that means much. So when is it appropriate to do that? Ladies, any signs to watch for to know that she may want to hold hands or something :)

I think men have a harder time too. All the girls I know seem to be upset for maybe a day or two before being ok to move on. I dated a girl for 3 years and I'm still upset over it and it's been 3 months since we broke up. She's already got a new bf. It would be nice to just be able to move on so fast.
