If your in the St Charles area you can take the Grafton Ferry across. It will save you time getting there but it shuts down at 9. You can google it for directions, price and hours of operation. Talk Like a Pirate Day @ The Saint Louis Pirate Festival! Saturday, September 19th Rotary Park 2577 W. Meyer Road Wentzville, MO 63348 1:30 Lunch at The Dead Parrot Pub All tickets are $8.00 5 and under are free Free Parking *Note: Lunch is NOT included in the cost of your ticket. There are various food and beverage vendors on the faire grounds and alcohol is available - so eat, drink and be merry... or walk the plank! Arrrr! Enter the gates and follow the main path up the hill and back down almost as far as the path will take you (It's really not that far). At the bottom of the hill, to your right, you will see a pirate ship stage and to your left a stone wall, a food vendor and then the Dead Parrot Pub. We will be meeting, greeting and eating in this area. Pirate Fest gates open at 10:00 so if you get there in the morning you should have plenty of time to meander the path, listen and watch various shows and performers before getting to The Dead Parrot for lunch. DIRECTIONS Westbound Take I-70 West from STL (or Hwy 40 to I-70W) To Wentzville to the Wentzville Parkway (formerly Pearce Blvd.) Exit (Exit 208). Turn Right onto Wentzville Parkway. I like Montelle's on hwy 94, it's mabe 6 or 7 miles south of 40. You can't bring food in because they do sell it in their store. Any other suggestions ??

I've gotten use to doing things when I want or how I want to do them. I don't know if I could get use to sharing again. I like my space, my peace and quite. Or if I want to go out I don't have to ask permission. I can hog the covers at night. Drink milk from the carton. Not make my bed . Do the laundry when I run out of clean clothes. But I do miss the snuggling......oh well

That was me last night but switched around. I always drink beer but last night I had 2 and they just wasn't hitting the taste spot. So I changed to chocolate martini's. Well just let me say I had 3 and was feeling no pain. Sure glad I had a sober driver for the trip home...lol

Why are some people so negative and have nothing nice to say about other people ? I would rather be around people who's glass is half full not half empty. I don't get when someone contacts you on messenger. You answer, they take a couple minutes to respond to you and you exchange a couple of response back and forth and then they don't say anything more. No ttyl..cya..gotta go.. nothing..just leave you hanging in the air. Isn't that like being hung up on if you were talking to them on the phone ??

A few of us are going to Maggie Malones in Wentzville tonight. It's their grand opening . Tonights band is The Real Me...my son-in-laws band. Check out their website therealme.biz. I forgot to say they have moved. They are on Wentzville pky..just around the corner from where they were.

The drive-in on the Rock Rd in Wellston was the Olympic drive-in. I use to go with the ex to County Speed Shop and while the guys worked on their cars I sat on the hood of our car and watched the movies..lol
